L (walking into the living room with a sad expression): My feelings are hurt.
Dad: Who hurt your feelings, L?
L: I did. I can't find my baby pony. (slowly begins to cry)

L (crying after being yelled at by J during breakfast): J hurt my feelings.
Dad: J, can you please apologize to your sister and ask her to forgive you for yelling at her?
J (reluctant, but obeys and apologizes and asks for forgiveness and then gives his sister a hug)
L: My feelings feel better!
