Josiah and his school buddy Carson
Carson is one of Josiah's best friends from TK. They are really silly together! He will also be at Josiah's school next year, so we are praying they are placed in the same class.
Celery!
We were planning to make ants on a log for Josiah's bug week at school, but I wanted him to try it to see if he liked peanut butter or hummus better. Much to my surprise he preferred hummus and liked the celery! Woohoo!
Funny Micah
Micah's vocabulary is really blossoming lately! Here are a few words he's said that have surprised me:
Incredible
Awesome
Poisonous
Terrible
Amazing
He's also had some cute moments when relating Bible stories from our BSFstudy on Genesis. For example, Jacob and his brother Seesaw. Isaac dug Orca whales (say wells with a good southern accent and you'll hear it). And Joseph was thrown into a foam pit by his brothers (sounds like fun!).

Nests and Eggs
Our buddy Luke came over for a play date. We had made Jiggler eggs and bird's nests for a special snack at Josiah's school, so we had the extras for a fun Easter treat.
Hickory Egg Hunt
We got to hunt this year with our buddy Mattie. Josiah got a ton of prize numbers this year, disproportionate to his number of eggs. Micah was totally not into it. He grabbed about 8 eggs and declared himself done!

Love Notes
Josiah initiated writing this note to Jonathan and completed it himself. We don't save lots of artwork, but this one is a keeper for sure.
Also, they recently had dads and donuts day at school. They had each done a project where they answered questions about their dads, and the dads had to guess who it was by the answers. Here is one page we were particularly proud of. Most kids answered that their dad works hard to make money.

Laser Pegs
Josiah is loving building with these laser pegs he got for Christmas. He follows the instructions by himself and makes each creation in order from the direction sheet. Why yes, he is a first child... So proud of how he's growing and getting more independent.
The newest Dr. Moseley
It was community helper week at Josiah's school, so they made the antiquated doctor hats and a doctor bag with their tools. His assistant is pretty cute too.

Josiah's School Program
Josiah was so excited about his Christmas program, practicing very diligently. He said his line confidently and clearly!

Gingerbread House
Josiah was so excited when I bought the kit that he wanted to get started right away. He wanted it to look just like the picture on the box.
Isn't this how we all feel like...
This time of year? Apparently we had done enough shopping that day. For posterity, that's chocolate chip and snot on his face, and it was only 10:30 am.
That's excellent parenting right there. Take notes.
