Allie's First Haircut!

Allie had her first haircut yesterday. She was a little nervous, but did great! She has the cutest curly hair, but the sides were growing a little faster then the rest. Aunt Stephanie evened it all up for her and she is still as cute as ever!

Sumsion Family Vacation

This last week we went to Heber with Matt's whole family and all stayed in a house that his parents rented. We had such a great time with everyone. We went swimming one day at the Homestead Crater in Midway. It was so warm and fun to float around. We reserved it for just our family so no one else was there except us. I would highly recommend it! The rest of the time we were up there we played games, relaxed, ate good food and just enjoyed everyone's company. We look forward to these trips every year. (I was terrible at taking pictures this year, so I only have some of the crater.)

Trafalga

I took Allie and the boys I babysit mini golfing last week. There was hardly anyone there so we were able golf at our leisure and enjoy ourselves. These boys are like brothers to Allie and she loves to be with them.

Art City Days!

We look forward to Art City Days in Springville every year. We went to the parade a few weeks ago and Allie loved it! She waved at EVERY float! She is just the funniest girl. Allie is at such a fun age right now. She loves anything and everything we do.

Another Surgery....

The day after Memorial Day I went in for another surgery. Sometimes I wonder if our trials will ever end! I had a lump in my breast that I found a year and a half ago. I had it biopsied and it came back benign. Lately it has been growing so the Dr. wanted me to get it taken out so there wouldn't be any problems in the future. The surgery went well and the results came back still benign. I had a hard recovery though. I think I was given A LOT of anesthesia and had a hard time waking up. Once I finally left the hospital I started throwing up and continued for 3 days. My mom had to take me to the hospital again to get some IV fluids. I felt much better after that, but didn't feel like myself again for a week. I am doing much better now, but I don't think my body can handle any more of this! I have had 5 surgeries in the past 2 1/2 years. I hope things will slow down with me for awhile, but we just never know. I am still dealing with fertility issues so that is also doing a number on my body. Thank you to all my family that helped me out during the surgery. I truly have the great family in the world!

Timp Caves

On Memorial Day, my cousins Dan and Amber came to visit and invited us to go hike to Timp Caves. I hadn't been there since I was a teenager and thought it would be a lot of fun. We ended up having a blast! I have been so out of shape for years and thought I would die on the way up. I did surprising well and felt really good the whole time. We love doing outdoors things and this was a great way to kick off the summer! The whole group!
