Thanksgiving 2012
This year we got to spend Thanksgiving with my side of the family. It was so nice to have a fun and relaxing day. Some of my aunts and uncles and cousins came down to my mom's house. We ate lots of good food and sat around and visited all day long. I was able to go out shopping with the girls that night since I had to work all day on Black Friday. We had such a great day and I'm so happy that I got to spend it with my family!

Take Shape For Life
I have been on this new health program for 3 weeks now, and it has been great! Honestly! I have felt great. No migraines or headaches, lots of energy and I've lost about 10 pounds now. I can tell a huge difference in myself, both mentally and physically. I have tried so many things to try and lose weight, and this is the first thing that has finally worked for me. I have decided to sign up to be a health coach so that I can help teach others how to be healthy. Jackie and I are hosting a Ladies Health Night this Thursday, November 8th, for anyone that is interested in learning more about this. We will have a taste testing of some of the food and also yummy healthy recipes. There will also be a raffle drawing. Please come even if you aren't interested! It will be a fun night.

Allie turned 3!!
Allie had her 3rd birthday on November 3rd. We had so much fun that day. We went to The Living Planet Aquarium, which was really awesome! We also took her out to dinner at Brick Oven. She loved when the waiters sang to her, she also loved all of her new toys. She hasn't stopped playing with them. On Sunday my mom had dinner at her house to celebrate Allie's birthday and invited all of my siblings. Thank you to everyone who made her weekend so special! We sure do love her!!
Halloween 2012
Halloween this year was a lot of fun. We pretty much just ran around everywhere, so it was a pretty busy day. Allie was so excited to be a pumpkin. She told everyone she was a pumpkin patch! We took Allie trick-or-treating down main street in Springville with her BFF's Gage, Kelson, Jayson, Max and Evelyn. I invited some of our friends and cousins to come since Allie had so much fun last year. It was extremely crowded this year so it was kind of a bust, but Allie still had fun. After that we went to Matt's parents for their traditional chili dinner. Allie got to show her costume off to Grandma and Papa Sumsion. After dinner we headed out to Payson to my Aunt and Uncle's house for their famous churros. If you ever want to have a super good treat on Halloween, go to their house with us! (I actually didn't eat one because of the health program I'm on, but everyone else ate plenty for me!) After all of our running around, we decided to go back to our house and watch a scary movie with my cousins. We even got a few trick-or-treaters knocking on the door. Overall, it ended up being a fun night and we had a ton of fun hanging out with our cousins who came down from Idaho. Allie never got to see Grandma Peterson that night, but showed off her costume to her the next day!

Time For a Change.....
I have decided that it is time for a huge change in my life. I am sick and tired of the way I look, all of the weight I have gained and the lack of energy I have. So I have started a new diet that my sister-in-law Jackie is doing. It is called Take Shape for Life. I have seen many people with amazing results and I want that. Over the last several years I have gained weight for a few reasons. I had my thyroid taken out, I had been on fertility drugs and have had a big addiction to Mtn Dew because of low self esteem and depression from a miscarriage and not being able to get pregnant again. I want to get back to the happy way that I used to feel and have energy again.
Today I am on day 2 of the diet and I actually feel great. They say that days 2-4 should be the hardest. I hope that I continue to feel good and not jinx myself! Jackie is my health coach and has been putting up with me! She has had amazing results herself with the diet also. I will be using this blog as a little journal to track my progress, so if anyone is interested in reading, here ya go!
If you are at all interested in looking into the program yourself, here is Jackie's website. gethealthywithjackie.tsfl.com You can contact her for any info.
Allie's 3 Year Old Pictures
Our little sweetie turns 3 years old in a couple of weeks, so we decided to get a few pictures taken of her. I think they turned out pretty dang cute!
8 Years!
On October 15th, we celebrated our 8 year wedding anniversary! We both still can't believe it's been that long. We went to Park City over night and stayed in the same hotel that we spent our honeymoon in. It was a lot of fun and very relaxing. Here are a few pictures of us throughout the years since we've been married.

Proud Sister
My youngest brother Brain has really gotten into running since he got home from his mission a few years ago. A few weeks ago he did a mini triathlon. The weather ended up not being the best so they canceled the swimming, but he still did the biking and running. I went with my mom, Mike and Rachel to show him some support. He did an awesome job and it was fun to be there to watch him. I would love to get into shape and start running some 5k's myself. Good job little bro!

Allie Loves Nursery
Allie loves nursery and I have been keeping all of the pictures she colors each week. I am going to scan them and make a book for her of all of her "art work". I took some pictures of her wearing the crowns she had made in nursery so far. She is such a cutie and Matt loves being in nursery with her each week.
Demolition Derby!
Matt had been wanting to go to a demolition derby all summer, so we went to the Juab County Derby a few weeks ago. Brian and Dani joined us and we all had a great time! There's nothing better then a small town event. I think I might be a bit of a small town girl at heart!
