Vegas Baby!

So I know we go to Vegas a lot, but it's so much fun! We went this past weekend so that Matt and my brothers could go to the BYU Bowl Game. Kasey wasn't able to get a flight out. We were sad he didn't go because we really wanted to see him. We had a bad snow storm for about 3 hours on the way down, once we got out of it the roads were fine. The weather was great down there, sunny and all. The boys were all sad that BYU lost. See I'm not a huge BYU fan, so I didn't really care. I just wanted to get away for the weekend. I wanted to do some Christmas shopping but didn't get around to it. I don't know if I ever will this year! This was Mike's first time in Vegas. Holly called him a Vegas virgin. So we showed him a good time. Of course, everything he bought down there was for Erika. He couldn't stop talking about her, how cute! On the way home we kept getting these phone calls that said "unknown number". I was a little annoyed because I hate telemarketers. Mike finally answered his phone and I thought he was talking to his roommate or someone like that. When he hung up he said "Brain says HI", darn kid, Brian had called and Mike didn't pass the phone to us. (for those of you who don't know Brian, it's my little brother on a mission in Japan) He had been trying to call my mom all day and she wouldn't answer so he called us and we wouldn't answer either. At least we will get to talk to him on Christmas Eve! Well, that's enough for now. I had a great weekend in Vegas and need more time away.

Thanksgiving......

I loved Thanksgiving this year! We went to Thayne Wyoming and stayed at my uncle and aunts house. Don and Susie. They have this awesome house in the mountains. It felt like we were in a big cabin hanging out all day. We had tons of food and ate all day! Seriously! We played games at night and had a great time. The next day we drove to Rexburg and went to the temple. We were there for 5 hours. I loved it! It is such a pretty temple. I just loved being there. The rest of the weekend we just hung out with family. We went to the cemetery to see my dad and my grandparents. We don't get up there too often. I just love the holidays, and love being with family!

Workers Comp!

So I took a fall at work on Monday. I was carrying some Christmas decorations down the stairs and thought I was on the landing but slipped on the step and twisted my ankle. The boxes went flying out of my hands. Luckily I didn't break anything in the boxes, just sprained my ankle! My boss took me to the doctor where we waited forever. They were really busy. I almost passed out twice there. The doctor laughed at me while my boss freaked out. She was so good to me. They sent me home for the rest of the day. I had to be on crutches for a couple of days. They sure do give you a good ab workout! I am doing better now. I am still in a lot of pain, but hopefully it goes away soon. Thanks to workers comp I didn't have to pay for any of it and got paid for the whole day even though I wasn't there. Of course I had to leave right in front of all the VP's of the company and they had to make fun of me, but that goes with the job. We have and awesome company. Matt has been taking good care of me.

Disney On Ice!

So we went to Disney On Ice on Friday Nov. 14th. I love it! I am such a little kid like that. Mike and Erika went with us. We had a great time. You can't go wrong with Disney. They put on a great show. This little girl behind us was yelling every time a different character came out. Little kids are so cute. They think all the Disney characters are the real ones on the movies. Erika took this picture from where they were sitting, Matt and I were on the 7th row. It was a great view. Matt is a good sport for taking me.

We are back from our trip......

Here are some of the pictures from our trip-

We had a lot of fun in Vegas and St. George. While in Vegas Matt, Lisa, Gordon, Cassandra, Caleb and myself went the the show KA. It was totally awesome. I would suggest those shows to anyone. We loved the warm weather and had a great time there. The next day we relaxed by the pool and took naps while Matt watch the BYU game. That night we went out for Thai and Sushi before the show Thriller. Again, it was an awesome show. Everyone needs to go see that at least once. I love vacationing with my good friends. I say next time it's Hawaii. We didn't take a lot of pictures but I will put on what we did take.

I saw this slide show and wanted to test it out to see if I could get it to work.

St. George and Vegas Baby!

So I decided to plan a trip to St. George and Vegas with some of my friends. We are down in St. George, and of course I am the only one to wake up at the crack of dawn. I just can't sleep past 8, my body wont let me no matter what time I go to bed. We are going to go down to Vegas today and play around. We have no plans but to have fun. Tomorrow we are going to see Thiller in St. George. I am so excited. I love that show. Hopefully there wont be any drama on the trip. You know how it gets with 8 people. If anyone knows me I wont put up with it. When the trip is over I will report on how it went and post pictures. Oh the suspense!

We've been married 4 years!

So today is our anniversary. The past 4 years have gone by so fast. We've had a lot of good times and a few bad times. We lost a baby last March which was hard, but Matt was there for me the whole time. Matt graduated from the Fire Academy and is now working at Mountain Land Supply while looking for volunteer work at a fire station. I work at Stores Online as a receptionist and own a business called Xccessoriz with my friend Melissa. We are both enjoying life. We love to take trips with family, friends and also just the two of us.

Matt is the best husband. I couldn't of asked for anyone better in my life. He is always there for me. I love you Matt.
