The boys enjoyed throwing rocks in the water. You can see Tyler in the background has just thrown one in and Trevin is just getting ready to as Logan splashes him with a big rock. Trevin was not happy cause he got soaked.

Lake Cleveland
Here we are at Lake Cleveland and everyone is across the lake on the upper end. We had 3 of Justin and Patricia's kids while they were in Scotland and Logan and Machelle and their 2 boys. We had a picnic and enjoyed the wild flowers. Some of us got a shower while here as a gift from Logan. Some people never quite get rid of all of the little kid in them. (That is not all bad.)

For those who can not see my blog, here is an update
What a night. And what blessings the Lord has given me. Many thanks to everyone's prayers. That is the only way, I believe, that things could have taken such a miraculous turn. At 6 p.m. last night I had chest pain and heaviness that lasted for two hours. Texted my cardiology nurse and she advised to call the on-call cardiologist at the hospital. The cardiologist was paged, spoke to me on the phone, and advised he would call the ER for me and I should go in. I was ticked. I hate going to the ER just as much as anyone else. I took a book, a bottle of water and the assumption that I would be sitting in the ER with moaning, coughing, sneezing, wheezing, bleeding people for hours and hours.
I checked in, which only took about 5 minutes, that took me right to the vital station. They took me right back to get an EKG, which showed blockage, right bundle branch to be exact and depressions. The depressions worried them because it could be ischemia, which basically destroys the heart muscle. Then they decided to do blood work. I waited about 20 minutes to be taken back to triage. So AWESOME!!!! I was in a pretty good mood, all things considering. (I have decided that I am a germaphobe) Whitney showed up with a ward member to give me a blessing while the man's wife watched Elijah. What an amazing ward family I have!
The blood tests were elevated in relation to a clot, so they did a chest scan. I had the following done:
numerous EKG's, 2 different blood labs, chest scan, x-ray, ECHO, ultrasound of legs, stress test (in which they put the treadmill up to a 18% incline and had me jogging at a 5 - they joked that I almost broke their machine and that I did 50% more than someone my age in terms of aerobic - I felt pretty good!) I had two IV's put in. One was put in by a med student, and at the same time a nurse decided to put another one in my other arm. During the chest scan, the contrast that makes you feel like you wet your pants (LOL) started leaking everywhere instead of going into the IV and into my veins. I looked at my arm and it was saturated in blood and contrast. The IV of the med student had not been tightened down, therefore, all the pressure of the contrast popped off the IV and released pints (not really - exaggerating a bit) of blood all over the bed and my arm. Oh well.
They did the scan again.
I got admitted into the cardiology floor at 2 and fell asleep at 3. Woken up by cardiologist at 4. He advised that the chest scan definitely showed a clot in my lung that had moved from my leg, through my heart and stopped in the lung. It was just small enough to avoid a pulmonary embolism (scary - did you know those are fatal?! That shocked me into reality) and said the nurse would be giving me a shot in the abdomen of an anticoagulant. (which has now swollen and is black and purple - but that is the least of my concerns.) He advised I would be on the shot for 1 week, be in the hospital probably until tomorrow, and have pills of the meds for 3 months. Possibility of internal bleeding with meds, but rare, unless the levels are way off.
So I tried to go to sleep. Slept with the interruption of hospital nightmares for the rest of the night until about 6:30 a.m.
Had the aforementioned tests done. About 11 ( I think) a.m. three cardiologists came into the room and advised that - miraculously - it looks like the clot is gone. This is where the miracle of the priesthood comes into play and all the prayers of my friends and family.
That's when the doc's decided to do the leg tests to make sure there were no other clots. Everything checked out fine and I was released to come home.
Thank you mom for hounding me to go in last night. I know I am stubborn, but you definitely know best! (Mental note - listen to my mom more! She is a wise woman :) )
I am home, they are not putting me on the meds, thank goodness! and I am healthy and happy. I have a great love for the Savior and Heavenly Father. They have brought many miracles into my life and have saved my life countless times!
Love you all!

More tests
Last night the blood clot showed up in Rochelle's lab work and on her xray. They treated her with medication last night and the clot has "disappeared" this morning. It was originally thought to be just shy in size of a pulmonary embolism. The doctors believe they must have misdiagnosed her. We believe it was a lot of prayers and blessings from our Heavenly Father. They will be doing an ultrasound now of her legs to make sure they didn't miss something there. She had a stress test and echo done this morning. Her stress results came back as wonderful. She will be following up with an adult congenital defect cardiologist after she is released. Hopefully they can figure out how to treat her arrhythmias, blockage, and myocardial ischemia and get her back in tip top shape.
Rochelle Update
Hey everyone...I don't know if you have all been reading Rochelle's blog about the monitoring and problems she's been having lately with the rhythm of her heart, etc. I'm not really an expert on what's going on, but she explains a lot of it on her blog.
Last night she was having heaviness in her chest. When she laid down it felt like someone was sitting on her chest, so she went to the ER. And they found out she has a common blockage, right bundle branch block, I think. It's usually found in the elderly. She also has ischemia. They did a blood test and found a clot in her lung, and will be putting her on blood thinners.
Today they'll do an echo and some other tests. We'll keep you posted on what else they find out. Any prayers would be appreciated!

Big Kay Reunion
At Dane's riverhouse we had quite a wild time. Here you see the 3 wise guys at the rail overlooking the "Kay Games" where almost anything is legal. We sure had a great time and enjoyed spending time together and laughing and planning. This is what families are all about when cousins can get to know each other and give support for what they each face.
Just look at these fine specimens, straining at the bit and look at Stacey trying to map a strategy to win by cheating. The 2 fine young studs at the end, though one is hairless, will undoubtedly put in a fine showing.
Just look at these trained athletes and the effort they expend. They move with such grace and fluidity. None of them are competitive, no not at all!!! Look at Sam and Rach's faces. Even my daughters-in-law cause pride to fill my bosom.
Here DAne is performing with rythmes penned only a few moments ago. He is lucky we ate all of the fruit before his turn came up. I must admit he did quit well at embarassing most of the family with painful memories. Notice there will be no pictures of Bob's family's golden performance because our camera sat idle at the side of TODD. The sordid story of Bob Bob Black Sheep will rest in peace.
Holy Cow!!! I mean, what can one say about this picture? Seans family assaulted "Iensy Weensy Spider" with a gusto normally reserved for the pub and with as few inhibitions. Arizona must make allowances for some people. The waterspout, spider, rain and the FAIRY dancing sun left us breathless.
The "OLDEST" brother's family and their tribute to "3 Blind Mice" was almost a show stopper. I mean the rest of us almost were too embarassed to continue. From the farmers wife's super renditions to the lamentable "tail-whacked" mice capers it was forgetable.
This group was paid a lot of money to look entertained during the skits. They actually pulled it off. There were some good laughs.
While DAve and Sandy were on assignment cleaning the temple, their crew took over reciting illusions of poetry about family follies which brought unfond memories and laughs. Why does Lance look so pleased?
This is just plain painful. While the girls are doing an admirable job, here Stacey is trying to lead them astray with wonder-water. What is that thing you have on dude or duddette? Jack and Jill will never be the same.
The golf produced mostly losers with Mark and Chavis winning the long drives and Dane winning one closest to the pin holes. Can't remember the other close winner but just know it wasn't me.
While the rest of the "responsible" (if that is possible) family members were doing their skits, a certain "out-law" brother-in-law stole away some soles and bought some fish. They would have us believe they caught them and compound the problem by exaggerating how heavy they were.
GO FISH!

Next year let's not invite Mr pukes!!! By my count, out of 70+ people there was only about 8-10 who did not get sick.
