More Third Grade Fun

Third grade was another productive day, with some great stories. First when we got to school, this one little girl, who I just love. She is so sweet and the cutest little girl. Well she informed me that her mom is in charge of the ward Christmas party and Santa is going to be there. Then she tells me to come close cause she has a secret for me. She whispers in my ear, all serious like, "We may even get the REAL Santa to come. But no one knows cause it's a big secret." I'm glad we all believe in Santa.
Next we have more stories of the student who acts more like an adult. When I want to get the students attention I raise my hand and say "Five, four, three, two, one," all while counting down on my fingers. By the time I finish they should be in their seats, quiet and eyes on me. She informed that, "it really offends my culture, when you hold up your fingers like this, (she is holding up her two fingers making a piece sign.) Because I'm Irish and it's like flickin someone off. So I would appreciate it if you didn't do that." I informed her that we are in America and here it means the number two, or a piece sign. And I am sorry but that is how I do it. We could talk about it later if she would like.
I tell you, where do these kids come up with this stuff. I just love it. Never a dull day, never.

Peter Pan

We went to the West Jordan Community Center's presentation of Peter Pan. Starring the Merrill Family. Chris was a pirate, Bree was a little Indian, Beth was one of Tinkerbell's friends, and Angela Made a lot of the costumes. You ask where Katie was, in the audiance with us. But she informed me that next year her dad is making her be in the play. Sorry Katie, your up.
Amberlee was the best little Indian on stage.
Way to go Bree.
Bethany did a great job of being one of Tinkerbells friends.
I say she stole the show from Tink.
When Sam came through the door, I had no clue who she was.
She looks so darn grown up. Scarry!!!
Katie and Lexus, being...Katie and Lexus.
Sometimes I wonder about those two.
Don't ask me what was so hilarious, but it must have been great.
I always love a good laugh.

Halloween 2008

This year for Halloween I invited Anthony's family over to carve pumkins. I was way fun.
Suesa and Hailey, say cheese.
Kingston, Kaden, and Pili, did not want to carve pumkins, so they played cars. Boy's?
Hailey being so stinkin' cute.
Beth doing a great job. Lookin Good!

Lexus, Beth, and Suesa

If you can't tell it says, M (Heart) A. I know I'm ridiculous, that's love I guess.

Our great work. Well only the girls.

MEMPHIS, BEALE STREET

This was in some little town in TN. We drove 2 hours to tour a plantation home, and it was closed. This was about the only thing in the town. No Joke. Jack loved the chairs, so defiantly a highlight.
Gotta Love Johnny Cash

Jack loved the music. I think he could have stayed all day.
Rock on!!!

We ate at this hamburger joint on Beale Street, Mark's suggestion. It was not the best, but after Mark told me the grease they use is over 80 years old, I was done. Gross

JACKSON'S CAR WASH

Welcome to
Jackson's Wash
He did such a great job making this red truck
SHINE!

Don't ask me why he did this.
He was on this kick of licking things.
It was great.

School Fun

I have not posted anything in forever, because all I do is school, and more school. I am in a third grade class student teaching two days a week and I LOVE it. The kids are crazy and sometimes I want to strangle them, but they make my day amazing and so much fun. I love each one of them, but I do have my favorites. There is this one little girl who keeps me on my toes. She always has something to say and uses words I'm not sure I know the meaning to. She is crazy, but so hilarious. I have numerous stories I could tell you just about her, but we'll just start with one. Here is the latest. Last Tuesday, each student gave a presentation on a different country and a tradition from that country. She had Jamaica, and she said "They make this cake that is made of white wine, and rum. So I couldn't bring it to school, because I would offend many of you and your parents would be very upset with me because you are Mormon. I am too. So instead I am going to do a drunken dance." Then her and another girl she recruited to help her with this drunken dance, start kicking their feet and moving in a circle. They turned around about three times, then she said, "That is all I know from the movie."
I love it. It took everything I had to not burst up laughing. She is the best.

Jackson was not too happy so I stuck him in the sink and he loved it.
Porter wanted in on the fun too.

We went to the Memphis Zoo for Boo night.
It was a blast, and can I saw an awesome zoo to boot.
Utah needs to catch up for sure.
They have all these different animal statues before you go in
and they were all dressed up in their own Halloween costumes.
It was so cool.
Watch out Jack....Ahhhhhh.....Ahhhhh.....
He was so done by the end, and he ended up in Porters car seat.
He is showing everyone the starts.

MEMPHIS
My first day at the Enfield's,
and Jackson loves putting on auntie Mo's makeup.
Does he look high?
I think he looks like trouble.
I love Mohawks, and I love binkies.
YO, YO, Man

Cutest little guy ever!

Hilarious!

Mommy and Jack with jewels
This could be trouble...

Jackson and Me.
This is my hilarious and very talented cousin Liz, who has written her own cookbook.
It is full of fantastic recipes and everyone needs to own a copy.
You can buy it on amazon right now and it is on sale.

She was signing books at the Joseph Smith Memorial Building and my mother was there helping her all day. Lexus and I decided to visit so her is some pictures of fun night downtown. We went and ate at the Lion House, expensive. For Lexus and I it ended up being $27... Well we did both get a dessert and a drink, but still that is a lot. It was really fun so I don't mind the money. Lexus was a great help with Aubrey and made the time a little more exciting. Thanks Lexus.

Erin's Brown's surprise birthday party bash.
Sarah, Erin Bodell, and I drove to Provo at 8pm to give her a happy birthday hug.
It was defiantly a short visit, we had to turn right back around and leave, but well worth it.
We love you Erin.
Later that week, I met up with my high school friends, Erin is m.i.a., I was supper sad to say the least. From left to right, April Barrowman (married now and don't know her last name), Shannon Dutson (married, again don't know her last name), Bryndee Carlson, Me, and Sheri Ozunioun Roseveer, (I do know her married name thank you).
It is completly crazy, Shannon has two kids, April has one with one on the way, Bryndee has a kick as job in New York, and I not married and still in school. Wa Wa
The annual ward luau.
Hailey loves to dance, but I think she forgot where the skirt goes. HaHa

I made Sarah come with me, and then she got made when I asked Anthony's brother and sister who I could set her up with.
Sorry Sarah, but I gotta do it some way. HaHa

My friend Joe invited me to the Murry City annual Fireman Squirt, my brother and his family joined. We had a ball, and then went to do some community service at the human society. Katelyn loves animals and I am pretty sure she could stay there all day long.
Overall it was a great day of fun.

Bethany got right into it, she was not afraid of getting wet,
unlike her sister and auntie.
I just love this picture
Chris invited us to the Salt Lake
County Fair for a concert. It was fun until I went on the swings with Katie and Beth and threw-up as soon as I got off. Not a fun time. It was all made better when I got to pet the goats. Of course I wanted one, and my mom agreed, only to suffice my pleading I'm sure.

Who doesn't love a good snow cone

I think the goats loved Bethany too much.
She likes to pretend she doesn't love animals, but I know the truth.
