So I saw on Anna's blog the link to Mtv's movie clips about the new Twilight movie and totally had to share!!! Definitely different than what I thought it might look like, but I can't wait to see it...and yes I will be there opening night at midnight...two weeks after I am at the midnight showing for Harry Potter! Matt can't stand how obsessed I am with my book series(es) that I read!

So I was reading through my cousin's blog and she pops in a fun blog that her sister-in-law found...I decided to go visit it....WOWOWOW! I had so much fun looking at all the fun recipes and pictures of how to make cool treats. I can't wait to make the chocolate chip cookie pie!! Also I absolutely love the the oreo truffle recipe, I found it last year and I love how she has played with it and come up with cute designs. Here is the site:

Another Closing Social....
Amazingly I was able to go with Matt to the Law Review Banquet this last Thursday night. It was great to get out of the house for a little bit, and to eat really good food!! I discovered Shirley Temples and fried ravioli!!! Actually I've had fried ravioli before but it must have hit the spot cause I craved for the rest of the night. I kept sending people back to the bar to order Shirley Temples for me, I think I had close to 5. For those that don't know what a Shirley Temple is, it is 7 up with grenadine syrup and cherries. I don't like cherry flavoring but this was amazing!! I'm a little naive when it comes to drinks you can order at a bar. Matt also got me to dance a little, we went home shortly after that though. By the end of the night my tail bone felt like it was permanently bruised. (Just a little side note for those that knew me in high school, yes that is my orchestra concert dress... good thing I could squeeze into it cause it was the only dress that was formal enough that I had)
OK... so after posting I realized that most of you don't know why it is so amazing I was able to go to the Law Review banquet...so I'll share:
Two weeks ago today (Sunday) we came home from a friend's house and found out that there were some complications with the pregnancy (I would explain but it probably is a little too much info for a blog) anyway we ended spending the night in the hospital and while there I started into labor. They were able to stop the contractions with shots and I went home in the morning. Well by the end of the next night I started having contractions again and went back into the hospital and stayed for most of the next day, while there they gave me shots and pills to once again stop the contractions and to help develop the baby's lungs. I went through tests and discovered that my amniotic fluid was low, I was starting to dilate and thin and the blood flow from the baby to me was having problems. I went home on bed rest and pills that stop contractions. The first week was miserable, first, because I was still have contractions and major back labor, second, because the silly pills they gave me made my heart race and my whole body shake uncontrollably, and third, I wasn't able to sleep either because of the pain or the pills. The second week was much better and each day I feel just a little bit better, I go back into the Doctor tomorrow and we'll decide what our next step is.

Some Tips for Blogging
So I have had multiple people ask me how I did some of fun stuff on my blog....and I haven't had a really good answer except for, "Well I just googled things I wanted to do and then found a site that told me how to do it". I finally bookmarked those pages so I will post them and hope that that helps you. Especially cause I am now on bed rest and will probably have the baby soon...so any plans I had before are now thrown out the door. As Matt's Aunt Judy pointed out last night, I need to check the definition of what bed rest really means...she must know me too well...good thing my mother-in-law is coming and will help enforce it.
Putting on Cute scrap paper:

Doing 3 columns:
http://tips-for-new-bloggers.blogspot.com/2007/07/three-columns-rounders-2-template.html
As for doing Headers, I do all mine in power point cause I don't have photoshop. I start out by going to
File
-Page setup
--and then change the heigth to a skinner dimension, like 3 or 4. After adding your cute paper and pictures and writing, then save it as a jpeg...this is done when you choose
File
-save as
--there should be a scroll box at the bottom where you can choose to save it as a picture file, I usually choose jpeg file
You can then open it up as the picture and resize it to become smaller if it comes up huge on your blog.
All the other little add ons I have just click on them and they will send you to the site that I got them. Hope that helps and makes sense.
