Troubled.. continued..

Sigh.. it's all because of the prefects stuff. That night (Tuesday), Justin Tan called and gave me a long lecture about all the prefects stuff. At some parts, i really felt like just hanging up the phone but i thought that i shouldn't cause there's really a problem. After the talk, it really made me realise about all the present problems which we need to see to. Actually, some stuff he says is kinda true la.
Feel like working on it but i just don't have the energy and drive to. Initially the attitude towards this whole thing was "Aiyah, heck. Passing over to the next batch soon. Just heck care until we hand over." But after hearing what Justin had to say, i think we (EXCOs) should really do something to address the problems.
Maybe we should just pia for the remaining two months then can "feng feng guang guang" de step down. Arrhhhhh... CHIONG Ahhh!! -.-"
Got kind of pissed off yesterday and wanted to blog about it last night but blogger was down with some problems. So here it is..
See that? 9 pieces of paper stuck together. Imagine the amount of information in there. And most of it was typed out by me! Today is the deadline for the NCC cadets database thingy and i had to send it to NCC HQ by yesterday night. There were still many missing information in there so on Tuesday, i brought the huge list to school and starting highlighting the missing info. I still took foolscap paper to write down the people with missing info and the info needed for each part.. sec 1 to 4 for the PCs to find out for me. I wrote a note "Pls help me find out the information and pass it back to me tomorrow. Thanks!" I passed it to Jinghan and told her to pass it to Adrian. My intention was for him to pass it the PCs. Wonder if he did it or not. I also mentioned to try to find as much info as possible and if can't then heck.
Needed the help of the PCs because i can't possibly to round searching for all those ppl for them to fill in their info right? There's already enough admin work to be done. Plus all the prefects stuff and school work, enough to almost kill me.
Yesterday, i got none back. Damn.. i was pissed. It's like they don't even give a damn to my request. Not even a msg saying "Paiseh, i can't get the info." NOTHING AT ALL! Argh! So no choice la. Since the rest can't be bothered, i shan't bother much too. I asked Mr Chia if it was ok for the blanks.. he said ok so i just send the damn freaking thing over. I'll still have to find out the missing info and send an updated copy to HQ once i get it done. zz, it sucks. NCC sucks. Everything sucks big time.
Ok, happier things now. It's my bro's (Alvin) bday today. Also Oliver's and Karin's bday. Happy birthday to them! |

I'm bored.. from all the homework and studying and stuff.. zz
Went to watch the eye 10 on friday while "celebrating" Zhan Hui's bday. Honestly, it wasn't really a celebration cos it wasn't very fruitfully spent. All the waiting and unhappiness and stuff. The show was kinda scary at some parts but the storyline is stupid. And it has too much humour factor put in. If given a chance to watch it again, i won't.
Went for tuition today and my tuition teacher gave me lots of bubble gums before i left.
Tests are coming up one after another. It seems like there will surely be tests every week. Be it small or big, counted or not counted. Had chinese and chemistry last week. There's amaths tomorrow, chinese on tuesday, chemistry on thurs and bio sometime during the week. Omg, crazy!

The same feeling

Not trying to blame anyone in the following entry. They're just what i feel about certain things.
Left sch only at 8.30pm last night. Had to do some ncc shit stuff. And was too tired and my books were too heavy so i took a cab and reached home at almost 9pm.
Sigh, i'm having the same feeling that i felt sometime last year. Putting it in a nicer way, it's helping people too much. Putting it in a bad way, it's being used by others. Getting sick of NCC again. There seems to be a common misconception among ppl - why does paper, stationary and every freaking thing that's supposed to come out from the printer the job of the admin? It's like not within my job scope lor. The admin bao shan bao hai long zong bao ka liao? Some really don't know that i already have enough of paperwork to be done and are still adding on to my workload. Really sick of all these. And sometimes, as u all may know me, i don't really like to say "no". So how? I suffer in silence. z.
The CLTs also once mentioned to me that, one of the jobs i am supposed to do is to be present for meetings and keep minutes. Omg, for goodness sake. What a job? zz.. Ahhh, anyway, i couldn't be bothered about doing that. They also once told me to create a "report sick" list FOR the medic. z! It's something coming out from the printer right? Yeah, so it's my job again. But anyway, the list is useless now. Can't be bothered with the list too. Stuck somewhere in my file left untouched for quite some time already.
Remembering an incident from last year, shall not mention any names here, person A and B were in charged of a certain NCC event, so they were planning to meet up to discuss about it. They decided to call me along to write down what they will be discussing. So feeling that it was unnecessary and feeling sick and tired of all those, i sort of said that i had something on. So person A told me "Err... then we write down the things then you help us type and print la." I just said "Hmmm, see how la," then i walked away. I just don't get it why everything that has to do with typing and using the computer is my job again. Sigh, i am to blame too for not standing up for my own rights and say a straight "no".
Just recently, someone msged me on msn telling me that we had to do the orienteering stuff and told me to bring coloured markers and coloured papers. See! Stationary. zz.. And i have no freaking idea why am i involved in the "planning" all of a sudden? Cos they needed my help? The planning started long ago, last year. Heard that it was Mr Chia who wanted me to help out in that certain portion. But true or not, i'm not sure. Arhh, but anyway i decided to help. Blame it on me being too kind la.. haha!! =)
Just can't wait to get out of NCC. Taking too much of my time.
Today's Zhan Hui's birthday!! Suddenly woke up at about 5am this morning and couldn't go back to sleep. So i went to send him a birthday greeting sms. Then after some time, finally managed to get back to sleep.
Watching the eye 10 later in the afternoon. Hope it's gonna be nice. |

Term 2 Day 2

Kinda lazy and don't really know what to blog about so i'll just blog some crap la.
Hmmm, it's just day 2 of term 2 and i'm already starting to feel the lethargy in me. Was hoping to take a nap at home after school for these 2 days but couldn't. Had too many things to do ytd and had to go for the science centre thingy today.
Had to join other classes for the science centre learning journey thingy cos 4A's one was supposed to be on Thursday and Mr Chia didn't want the NCC ppl to miss training. So had no choice but to join other classes. Luckily there were ppl i know. zz, Mr Chia is smart to make this arrangement, so that we can't skip training on Thursday. Arhh!! The show was boring. Waste time nia.
Ms Ek was kb-ing again today. She won't be around for remedial today so she assigned lots of work for us to do and wanted us to complete them before going home. (Not for me cos i had to go sci centre) I guess she purposely assigned work which would take us more than an hour and since she's not around.. we'll HAVE to complete them before we can go home. zz, wanna extend our time. So after sch she came in and saw her transparencies all over the place and started kb-ing. Say what.. the transparencies not for us.. but it's for the OHP. "If you all distrupt my order of work.. blah blah.." "You all are supposed to copy the corrections first before you all do your workbook.." Arghhh.. crap la. Keep complaining, scolding, criticising non stop. When will she ever stop?

Boogeyman.. sucks!

Damn the freaking noise downstairs. Woke me up from my sleep. Drill and drill. Few weeks ago they were drilling, now drill again. Argh!! Damn it.
Yeah, went to watch Boogeyman with Zhan Hui, Chu Peng and cabbage yesterday. Omg, what the hell is that show all about? No head no tail. One moment he goes thru the closet and appears at the motel, then kana sucked under the bed then appears at don't know which place. Then the little girl appears for one moment and is gone the next moment. Sucky show. Regret ahhh..! Wasted 7.50 on a dumb show. We were more like laughing than screaming inside the cinema.

Type and type non-stop!

I have been typing and typing non-stop for the whole afternoon. Doing the NCC cadets database thingy. Wonder why the HQ wanna know so much information for what. Rank, NRIC, name, address, contact number, dialect, religion, citizenship, place of birth, medical history, father's and mother's name, occupation, contact number.. So many words and numbers especially. Wah! Type until i wanna peng. And worse still! The cadets' handwriting are so freaking ugly! YIKES!
WHO THE HELL CAN SEE WHAT HE IS WRITING ABOUT!!?
What's that last word?!
That's why i really hate doing such NCC stuff when their handwriting are so damn untidy. Strain my eyes until so jia lat then in the end still don't know what they're writing about. -.-" "Fuhua NCC de admin head zhen bu hao dang"
Ok, i'm sort of done with this ncc shit already. Taking a break, continuing another day. Have till 31 Mar 2005 to complete before i have to submit it to HQ.
Remedial today was boring. Bio did mind map. zz, damn bo liao. Remedial just to do the mind map. But also good la, wasn't that energy-consuming. English was worse, even MORE boring. Was almost dozing off in class. Then had chem, then amaths then finally, home sweet home.

The holidays are here!

Yay! Finally the holidays. Really in need of a break after so much studying, common test and other stuff.
The past week wasn't very good for me. Have been slping later for most of the nights. Got back our result slips yesterday but don't know why didn't Ms Ek return us the report books. Worst of all, the bio and amaths marks were swopped. Ms Ek just told us to draw the arrow thingy to switch them around. She must be trying to avoid trouble because if she reprints the result slips for the whole class, she'll have to get them signed by Mdm Oen again and once Mdm Oen knows about the screw up, Ms Ek will get into deep trouble. zz.. Freaking arrow, make it look so ugly. Some parents might even wonder if it's fake or not.
Anyway, got back results.

English Language - A2
Physics - A2
Combined Humanities (SS) - B4 L1R5 = 10. Omg, gotta buck up already. I'm always saying but don't think i'm really doing. But it's only the common test, there's still time. (: Like what Mr Lee always says.. "All these are just rehearsals. The prelims is the full dress rehearsal. And the O levels is the actual performance." Jia you everyone!
Brought my mum to see Ms Ek yesterday and since there were no other parents around, we talked for about 1/2 hour i guess. I realised that sometimes what Ms Ek says is quite true and beneficial de ba.
Watched Million Dollar Baby last night, on bro's laptop. (: The starting was kinda sian la but the back was very touching. The shows is very meaningful. Life can be full of uncertainties, you'll never know what happens next. Always protect yourself. I think it deserved the best picture award, and the rest of the awards it received. Nice show.

A Series of Unfortunate Events

Went to the career fair at suntec yesterday with Zhan Hui, Chu Peng, Jie Hui and Hui Wen. Two words, it sucked. Went in for only about 15 minutes and we were out. All the university stuff, not stuitable for us, yet. Wonder why the school intro us to go. zz.. So after that, we went jalan-ing at suntec, then walked a while at bugis. Saw Denise at Citylink too.
In the evening, Zhan Hui, Chu Peng and i met up with cabbage to watch Lemony Snicket's: A Series of Unfortunate Events at JP. It was ok, not that fantastic. I think it deserved a 2.5 out of 5 but don't really regret watching it la. (:
Was bored yesterday morning cos i woke up too early so went to make a new design for my notebook as i was growing sick of the old design. Recently quite mad over the green day song, boulevard of broken dreams so decided to add in the lyrics of the song at the back.

The past week

2 March (Wednesday)
Ms Ek came to class with a freaking foul mood.. AGAIN. Aiyah, as always la. Small small things then wanna kb a lot liao. Started scolding us about our behaviour. Scold us for not doing the things that she wanted us to do. So she started asking to do this and do that during her SS class. She told us to take out the notice board deco. Only a few went to help so she said "Only how many helping? What are the rest doing?" So a lot went to help to take out the stuff lor and helped to clear the cupboard. Then she said "So many crowd at the cupboard for what?!" Then so many were at the notice board at the back and quietly cursing at her. Because so many were doing stuff so lots of noise was created. She shouted "4A! I asked you all to work, not talk! One more noise from you, and no recess!!" zzz, sec4 liao still wanna threaten us with recess. NO RECESS NO RECESS LA! Big deal.
She then started her freaking long lecture which lasted for almost an hour. Scolded us for this, scolded us for that. She can't seem to run out of ideas on what to scold us for. And she feels that Normal students are stupid. Omg, descrimination sia. As if she's so smart. Arghhh.. as usual, more threatening with the freaking testimonial while she was lecturing us.
Today
Finally the common test is OVER! Don't think i'll do well for amaths too. Can't do quite a number of questions. Arhhh, heck! Over liao.
Went for dental checkup today. As some of you may know, i got a really big phobia of dentists and dental checkups but i finally got my last baby tooth out. Too bad i didn't keep the tooth. This was what happened.
Dentist: Aiyoh, you still got one baby tooth left. *giggles* The other tooth no space then went to the back liao. Do you want me to take it out for you?
Me: You me now?
Dentist: Now also can, you want to come back another day also can.
So i was thinking, if i don't take it out no, i forever won't. Since that baby tooth was there for so long already, it's time it came out. So very bravely i said..
Me: Errr, ok la. Take out now la.
So she did the scaling and polishing stuff first, gave me a jab and plucked that tooth out. Tada!! It's finally out. Was quite a scary experience la, but not as painful as i thought it would be.
