Grandma's Birthday

Today is my mom's birthday! We went to Burger King for lunch to celebrate! I made her wear the crown - thanks for being such a good sport mom! We're going to officially celebrate her birthday tomorrow night with dinner at LaShawn's with the whole family! This was also Addison's first time going out to eat at a resturant! She did just fine!

Special Dress

This dress was made by Mike's aunt Linda who lives in Ohio! Addison was all smiles when we were puting the dress on! Thanks Aunt Linda!

Baby Shower

This past Tuesday there was a shower for Addison and I at our church. The place was decorated with neat dolls & doll furniture that belongs to my mom, sisters and family friends. We were blessed with lots of great gifts too! My friends Cathy & Jen created a picture book for Addison titled, "A is for Addison.." It's an ABC book filled with pictures of Addison. They read the book to everyone at the shower. The book is so cute and will be something Addison will always treaure! Thanks you guys!

Lately Addison has been working on getting her fist in her mouth and sucking on it instead of her nuk! Sometimes she ends up sucking just her thumb.

Clean up on Aisle 5 Addie spits up a lot, but this time it was much more! 25% of it soaked into the clothes of Addie & I!

A Sad First

It was bound to happen sometime, but I just thought it would be in the Fall or Winter - Addison has her first cold. For alittle while she wasn't really eating or having wet diapers so I took her to see the doctor. When the doctor went to check her diaper she started to pee. Not so good for the doctor, but it made me feel better to know she wasn't dehydrated. Now she seems to be doing better! At the doctor's office we also learned that she weighs 10 lbs. 11 oz! She is certainly growing fast!

My Dad's birthday was Aug. 2nd, but our family wasn't able to get together until this past Thursday to actually celebrate it! Here are some pictures of the birthday fun!

Today we discovered that Addison really likes being in the Baby Bjorn carrier! I also liked it because it allows me to get things done around the house while she's content! She slept in the carrier while I vacuumed!

Did you have a question Addison? While she was sleeping in her chair she all of a sudden raised her hand as if she wanted to be called on to ask a question. Her arm stayed up for quite a few minutes.

Grandpa Turns 60

Today Grandpa Lee turned 60! So Addie & I joined my mom, sister & nephews at Interstate to wish him a Happy Birthday and help serve birthday treats to the employees.

Today is also my cousin Jill's birthday - Happy Birthday Jill!
