About a week ago, June 18th to be exact we got out the slip n slide that Justin had gotten for his birthday out so the kids could play. Justin had gone down it three or four times when he started screaming and crying. When I asked him what had happened he said he had bent his foot backward. NO big deal right? I told him he would be OK. He didn't really play with the other kids the rest of the day. The next day he seemed fine he was still limping on it a little bit he didn't ever complain about it hurting, everything seemed like it was great. Well a week later I was watching his t-ball game and he was still limping on it pretty bad. Wow maybe I should take him to the doctor. Well after a week of walking on it we came home from the doctor with a cast. He has a hair line fracter on his foot. I feel terrible for making him walk on it for a week. He loves his cast it is red! I wonder if he will be thinking his cast is so great after the 2 weeks when we go back to get it off.

Camping
We have been planning a camping trip at strawberry reservoir with our neighbors for months. Brian and Jen have have been going up there for a few weeks checking the snow level and scoping out camping sites. They found the perfect site last Sunday. On Thursday Jen and I went up to "the perfect site" to set up a tent to save it for us. We had a great time all weekend. We did about everything you can possible do while camping, boating, fishing, 4-wheeling, geocaching, and playing in the snow. It was definitely an action packed weekend. On Saturday night the boys all went out on the boat again to go fishing, Jen, Garrett and myself had the scare of our life when a micro burst storm came through our camp and knocked down a tree right on top of our enclosed trailer and the hood of our truck. Although it could have been much worse it hit the front corner of the trailer dented it and punched a hole in the top of it. The very top of the tree hit the truck hood and put a few dents in it. We were very lucky there was not more damage. It was crazy how fast the storm came through and how hard the wind was blowing. On Sunday when we went for another 4-wheeler ride we noticed that was not the only tree that had blown over the were about 5 or 6 more that had fallen either by or in the road. While we were 4-wheeling we found a lot of snow in some places the kids had a blast playing in it and throwing snowballs.
The tree that hit the trailer and the truck!Justin fishing with his new rocket launching fishing pole that his grandma gave him for his birthday. He loves it and only wanted to fish the whole time we were there!
Garrett play in the snow trying to make a snowball to throw at someone!
Garrett covering himself with dirt as though he was not already dirty enough!
While we were packing up camp Justin was entertaining himself riding the dump truck down the hill!

T-Ball
Justin has been playing t-ball the month of June and loving every minute of it. Mike has been his coach, I wonder sometimes where he gets the patience to deal with 13 four, five, and six year olds but he does a great job! Thanks Mike! Justin's goal every game is to hit the ball farther than anyone else. He puts a lot of effort into it and does a good job, although there is a little boy on his team, well a not so little boy on his team that can really make the ball fly. He is way bigger than Justin, I am afraid he does not stand a chance. He is having a great time anyway.

It fell out
Justin finally lost his first tooth!! Last night as he was having a bath he started yelling IT FELL OUT! Not quite sure what he was talking about I ran upstairs to see him holding his tooth with a huge grin on his face. A few of his friends have already lost their teeth so he has been waiting quite a while for this all important moment of growing up. After getting out of the bath tub he insisted that we write the tooth fairy a letter so she would know he lost his tooth and then off to bed. He was so excited for the tooth fairy to come I am surprised he was even able to go to sleep. The tooth fairy came in the night and left him $3.00 under his pillow he could not have been more thrilled.

kick
We had peas for lunch a few days ago. Soon after we gave Garrett one to eat he started climbing out of his high chair saying done...kick...done. We don't know what he is talking about alot of the time so we just got him out and started cleaning up lunch, we figured out pretty quickly what he was talking about because the next thing we knew he had a pea on the floor trying to kick the pea like a ball. He didn't having much success using the pea as a soccor ball. It was cute watching him try anyway.

OOPS
Today my favorite little two year old was being so sweet and innocent watching TV on my bed while I was helping Mike put together a shelf for some more food storage. The phone started to ring upon answering it, Wasatch County Dispatch wanted to know if everything was OK. They had received a 911 call from this number. I started thinking to myself you have the wrong number it could not have possibly come from my house, Justin was playing the computer and what are the chances that Garrett would actually get the right numbers on the phone and push talk. After assuring dispatch that everything was OK, I ran upstairs and sure enough Garrett was playing with the phone and after pushing redial the display said 9111111111111111111111! I still can't believe that he got the right numbers on the phone and then pushed talk. What are the chances? I guess I should never underestimate a two year old!

Family Fun
Around the first of March we go a new 4-wheeler, pretty much out of necessity... after Garrett came along we just didn't fit on one anymore. So we have this new 4-wheeler and we have not been able to ride it because the weather has been so darn cold. We were finally able to go for a ride on Saturday. We had a great time. We even stopped at a little stream so Garrett could do one of his favorite things...throw rocks! Justin even joined in but instead of throwing rock he thought that he needed to throw Mike's Swedish fish in the water for whatever reason. In this picture Garrett is sound asleep, that usually happens.
Mike helping Garrett to the stream!
Justin with is Swedish fish!
I had to add this photo! This is Garrett's new favorite hat.
It rarely comes off!
