Halloween 2017!

Happy Birthday, Mike!

Mike, literally, had the world resting on his shoulders at this time, so it was just a small birthday dinner at home.  I still don't know how he managed it all. A full-time job, a family, church callings, MBA coursework + numerous volunteer efforts.  Mike does A LOT of good under-the-radar.  A LOT.  Sometimes, as his wife, I get a little disgruntled because often the good he does seems to go unnoticed and unacknowledged.  He doesn't toot his own horn. But anyway, for each of his Harvard reunions, Mike has served as a participation chair and is one of Harvard's top participation fundraisers.  We finally had this thoughtful note framed for his birthday - Elijah selected the mat board.  We love you, Mike and appreciate all you do for us and others!  Happy birthday!

Nadia's Blessing Weekend

I will always remember this weekend as one of the best in my life.  Family from both sides, far and wide, came to celebrate Nadia's special day.  We were so grateful for the support and love.  We wish every good blessing that your Father in Heaven has for you, Nadia.  May you always know how loved and treasured you are.

(Just to keep things interesting, Julia decided to run wild with her cousins the night before the blessing. You see how the story ended.  Our first trip the the ER with kids!)
