Quick Mini Vacation to Lake Tahoe

We got a call from family and they told us they had an extra room at a hotel in Lake Tahoe.  Who would turn that down?  We went to pizza that night and did a little swimming.  The next morning we swam a little more and then went to Izzy's Burgers for lunch.  Good Stuff!

The pool at the hotel is very cool and not crowded at all.  Loved it!

Slip and Slide

What a cool idea.  Take a large painting tarp and turn it into a huge slip and slide.  Kids were entertained by this for hours.  So was Dad!

 

Let it Rain, Let it Rain, Let it Rain

Living in the Desert we don't get a lot of rain, but every now and then we get a lot all at once, and we love it.  The kids took cloths pins and made race boats with them.  They raced for about 45 minutes until the water was finally gone.  The water was moving so fast as you can see in the first picture.  They would race all the way to the end of the street. 

Hiking Around Spooner Lake

Tim and Mark Rode their bikes from home towards Spooner in Carson.  They were picked up part way up and then we went hiking at spooner lake.  It was a nice fun day for the kids and even us.

Real Salt Lake Game

What better than taking my beautiful daughter to a soccer game.  She is really developing a like for the game and I can now take her with me to those games.

Hogles Zoo in Salt Lake City

Now that soccer camp is over, we decided to take in the new polar bear exhibit at the zoo.  It was very cool how close you actually get to see the animal.  There is only a glass wall between us and the bear.

BYU Campus Fun With The Boys

While Kendra was at soccer camp, we took the boys on a tour of the BYU campus.  We even got to sneak into Lavell Edwards Stadium for some pictures.

 Bookstore time.  You have to love the cool hats and claws that ended up in our car on the way home.

4th of July at the Robison's

Taking in the Staduim of Fire fireworks show is awesome.  It is even more enjoyable when you are above them in a hot tub and pool. 

 You can see Lavell Edwards Stadium lights right behind us.  It was fun to watch them from the pool and then beat the crowd home.

Tea Time with Mom and Cousins

Mom and Kendra went out to tea with her Aunt Lisa and Cousins.  It was a very fancy place and the girls had a great time being treated so special.

 Even the little treats were special and tasted great.

 Afterwards, we all dressed up in our matching pajamas with our baby dolls.

Kendra's BYU Soccer Camp

Kendra got a chance to go to the soccer camp at BYU.  She is really loving soccer and we want to really support what she has an interest in.

 Kendra works so hard at the camp during the day that on the drive home each day she takes a little nap.
