Christmas Vacation Fun

We love a white Christmas, and we also love a snowball fight over the fence with the neighbors.
The Kurths came up after Christmas for a visit.  The Kurth girls we a tough fight for our kids.
The Idaho Gardners even showed up and we broke out in a very heated game of Uno.  I think it was speed Uno or something like that.
After speed Uno we went sledding in the lower mountains of Carson City.
Travis is ready to go.
Now that is a crazy bunch of people.
Kendra's bed in the making.  I already made the boy's beds, now it is time for Kendra's.
Happy New Year's to my family.  We sure love our kids.

Christmas Morning

There is nothing I like more than the lights on the Christmas tree lighting up the entire room in the early morning hours of Christmas.  It always makes me smile.
Travis loves baseball and he got a net that throws the ball back.
Trevor is our little soccer star and goals were what he got this year.
Little miss Kendra got a cool chair that she can hook her music to and listen to it.
The boys on their new bikes.
 Owl mittens.
Red Velvet Pancakes have begun to be a tradition around here.  Soooo good.
Uncle Scott and his present to the kids, sleds.

Christmas Gifts for Teachers

This year the kids made pretzel sticks with chocolate on them in the shape of Christmas trees and stocking.  They actually tasted very good.

Travis Gets Stitches

Travis and Kendra love to play chase so much that they ran so fast that chins that hit coffee table split apart.  Mom was taking a shower and Kendra and Travis came running in to her with blood everywhere.  Katy quickly rinsed the shampoo out of her hair and rushed the other kids down to Julie's house.  She then rushed him in to the ER where he is on a first name basis with the workers.  He ended up with 4 stitches and now matches his Dad.
I am not sure how he is smiling, but he is a happy boy most of the time.
Post stitches, so cool!

The Polar Express

Grandma Sandy and Papa gave Mom tickets for her birthday to ride The Polar Express Train that goes from Carson City to the North Pole.  Mom then made each and every one of us matching pajamas and hats.  It was a great time.
A little hot cocoa on the train ride!
