Kendra Starts 1st Grade

I can't believe how fast time goes.  Our little girl is not so little anymore.  I sure hope time will slow down or I can slow my time down to appreciate who she is and give her all I can of myself.

Miniature Golf

The kids have been talking about miniature golf for a while now so we bit the bullet and took them.  I think they had a great time, but it was a little crazy trying to get them to take less than 10 hits per hole. 

Summer Time Fun: Grover's Hot Springs

Every chance we get to go to Grover's Hot Springs we take it.  We take a little hike followed by a picnic lunch and then a soak in the hot tub and pool.  I love doing it because it is fun, I also love doing it because the kids really love to help and carry there own water packs. 

Elvis and Aunt Sharon Rock the House

Katy's Aunt Sharon Loves Elvis so her brother, Uncle Stan got her the best present she could ask for and Katy made a cake that was just as awesome.  Long live the king.  P.S. the cake was chocolate and banana cake with peanut butter frosting.  Actually very good.

New Boys Loft Beds

We have been thinking and thinking about what to do about the twins and their bedroom.  It isn't a small room, but it isn't big either, especially when you throw 2 of everything in there.  We don't like the idea of bunk beds, but how do we fit everything in their room with two separate beds?  Give Mark enough time and he will figure it out.  He finally did and decided to make them a type of loft bed that the dressers will fit under and also give them room underneath for other things.

 Below is a picture of the beds in there plain wood stage first time put together before stain.

 Travis chose green.

 Trevor chose blue.

 Now they have a dresser below them at the foot and a little play place under for each of them.
