Cousin Ryan Get's Married

My nephew, the kids cousin is getting married.  How lucky we are to be invited to it and also to have the kids be such a big part in it.  Kendra was asked to be the flower girl and the boys were asked to be the ring bearers.  It was such a fun weekend filled with driving, swimming, rehearsal, dancing, wedding, more swimming, followed by a little more driving.

Swimming in Uncle Rob's pool with all the cousins!  Good times.  Can't wait to go back.
Rehearsal time for the kids.  Beautiful yard and setting for the wedding.
Presents for the boys for being part of the wedding.
Kendra got her hair done all fancy to match all of the Bride's Maids.  She even had the attitude needed for it.
Ryan and the kids before the wedding.  Looking good everyone.
Check out them belt buckles and boots!
If you can't tell, Travis was spinning and playing catch with his pillow for most of the wedding, but he did stay in his spot.  Going in to the wedding we thought Travis wouldn't do it, or at least need a lot of support.  Come game time, Trevor was the one that had game day jitters.  He overcame them and walked reluctantly with his brother.  They still looked cute.
Little Miss Kendra and all the big girls.
Time to get the party started.  The boys waited so nicely while everyone got their pictures taken and then it was off to the reception.
We couldn't keep Travis off the dance floor.  He loved every minute of it and it went late.
Kendra still hanging with the big girls.  Don't grow up too fast Kendra.

T-n-T Turn 4

WHAT?  You have got to be kidding me.  The boys are really 4?  Yes it is true.  For Mom and Dad it has felt like an eternity.  Okay I am just kidding.  I really can't believe they are actually 4 now.  They are starting to grow up so fast and making leaps and bounds in their learning.  How do we start to slow this down now?  Well, the boys wanted a bowling birthday party and with a little resistance from Mark, we did it.  It turned out to be a great party.  We had good family and friends there to help the boys celebrate the big day.  As usual, the boys got a very cool cake.  Way to go Katy.

Planetarium

Katy always does fun and exciting things with the kids, and this time she took them to the planetarium in Reno.  I heard many stories from them about space and how cool the movie was.  It sounds like they really had a good time.

Mother's Day

If you have ever thought about what a mother does for her children then you have a large amount of respect for them.  This is the case for their Mom.  She is everything to them and the reason they are such wonderful kids.  They are very lucky to have a Mother that gives so freely of her time, talents, and energy.  We love you Mom!  The kids made Mom a great breakfast this year. French Toast, strawberries with sour cream and brown sugar, fresh squeezed grape fruit juice, and flowers.  The kids all worked hard on this and it turned out great.
The kids were so excited for Mom to eat in  bed that they brought a blanket in and ate on that with her.
