New Year's Eve

We celebrated New Years at the Logan's house this year.  Between the 2 families, the kids are really starting to grow up.

Christmas Morning

What is the best thing on Christmas morning?  Seeing the joy and smiles on your kid's faces.  Sure I love a nice surprise, but those smiles are even better.

 

 Katy's made a beard out of yarn for uncle Kevin.  Grandpa sure looks good in it.

 Wouldn't you know it, the boys got another set of remote control cars from Santa. 

Christmas Eve Cookies

Each year the kids make cookies for Santa to each so he has his energy to make his trip around the world.  This is always a favorite thing for them to do.

Christmas at Great Grandparents

Each year we are invited to a Christmas dinner down in Gardnerville at Mr. Ron's house.  This year because of how hard it is for Grandma Jean to travel, we had it at her house.  It is always fun for the kids.

 Travis and Trevor each got a remote control car, that they used and abused until they both stopped working because they were used so much.

 Kendra got a HUGE makeup kit that she loves to use often even though her parents don't really like it. :)

 Later that night, Papa Jack and Grandma Jean took the kids back in the bedroom to do a small Gift giving without everyone else around.  The kids each got to go around and pick one gift at a time.  I think they each ended up with like 5 gifts!

Pre-School Christmas Lesson

Ice Skating

Ice skating comes to Carson City each year and we have made it one of our yearly events we try to do.  This year the boys were big enough to give it a try.  A lot of holding Dad's hands, but still have a great time.

Trimming The Tree

The kids really enjoy hanging ornaments on the tree.  When they are done, Mom and Dad have to hang some up high and around the back.

Parade of Lights

Each year Minden has a parade of lights.  We try to make it down there when we can.  It is always fun to bring in the Holiday season with the fun lights.

Hanging The Lights

The kids always love to help Dad set up the Christmas lights on the house.  I know he loves there help, most of the time.  Maybe one year they will do it while he stands on the ground and they go up on the ladder.

Turkey Bowl

Every Thanksgiving Dad goes and plays in the anual Turkey Bowl.  This year Travis and Trevor were able to go to the game.  Game Time!  You gotta love it!

Cowboys at Heart

Those might not be real cattle, but they boys worked hard to get those horns. 

Visiting Grandma

Family visits are always nice!

Rock Climbing

Dad got a new climbing wall at school and the boys got a chance to climb on it.  They had a ball!

Halloween

I think Halloween is so fun, but probably because we love Fall so much.

Apple Hill

Each year around Fall, we try to make a trip down to Apple Hill.  It is one of Katy's favorite places and time of year.

 When you have to go, you have to go!
