Paper chain for christmas!  I cut out the tree, but he cut all the other pieces and glued them on and decorated it all by himself!  I asked him to stand next to it so I could take a picture, he said "ok, but I'm not going to smile"

Robinson Adventure!

So... while Daddy was a little bit out of commission, I took the kids on a little adventure to get out of the house for a few days!  First we stayed at my sister Kelsy's house for a night, then went to Seattle for Santa, carousel, and all that fun stuff, then we took the ferry back to my friend Uma's new house in Poulsbo to visit for the weekend.  We had a lot of fun besides one minor trip to Urgent Care!

I meant to bring her exersaucer so she'd have something to do, but forgot, so decided to look for a jumper on Craigslist and found one (the cheapest one on there) two blocks away from my sister's, so Lucy scored!

 

he got pretty wound up running around with Molly

Last year he said he would not cry when he was four, and he didn't at all, he did so good!

 

Lucy did great too!

 

 

Although he refused to smile, so this is the best we got :)

He was sitting really cute, then refused to look (or smile) once he saw the camera...this boy just has to be in the right mood

 

 



Lucy with her hospital bracelet, poor little goose.  Nothing says vacation like a trip to the ER!

 

She got a hair tourniquet!  (second toe) Yes, its a real thing, and apparently pretty common.  When she woke up in the morning and I changed her jammies, I noticed hair was wrapped around her toe and it was all red and swollen (not blue, thankfully) so I took the hair off and figured it would puff back out to normal.  But this is hours later and it still looked like there was hair!  It had cut into her toe just a little, so I called the nurse to see if I should soak it in something so it wouldnt get infected and she said I should bring her in as there could still be hair embedded that I couldn't see.  There was not, but I got some antibiotic ointment and now, a couple days later, its good as new!

 

 

Ferry ride home.  I tried to stay in the car since Lucy was sleeping, and he already got to see the ferry on the ride over there, but he really wanted to go up, so we did.
