Carden loves to ride bikes, run, play soccer and basketball. He is our natural ATHLETE! He is still in LOVE with TRAINS and CARS! He can spend a whole day playing with a train set. He begs to go to CHASE's house since he is the cousin with the most TRAINS!
We recently found out that Carden loves "FLOWERS"! Justin took Carden with him the other other day to get his tire fixed and so to kill time while they waited they went to a few stores. After two hours of waiting Justin told Carden that it was time to eat some lunch, but Carden insisted on going to "ONE MORE STORE" (as they walked passed HOBBY LOBBY). Carden wanted to go into HOBBY LOBBY and Daddy asked, "Have you even been in this store?" "What is in this store Carden?" Justin was so confused that after spending two hours in the train store with him why he would rather go to HOBBY LOBBY than eat lunch! Carden answered, "BECAUSE IT HAS FLOWERS!!!" haa haaaa. I must confess Carden has been to HOBBY LOBBY a few times but most of the time he only likes the store because it has "MOTORCYCLES" not flowers. I told Justin that to reassure him that CARDEN is still SO BOY!!!!! :)
Carden is still a GREAT eater! He loves fruits and veggies! He eats salads regularly. He is getting to be such a big boy. I sometimes forget he is ONLY THREE! I am just amazed at what he understands and the way he replies to questions. I don't even think I was making complete sentences at that age!!!! He does well at communicating and it makes it really nice! He is our little peacemaker so far. He loves to make FUNNY FACES and shows me the "RED" in his eyes! He loves cereal in the morning. He also is so thorough in his prayers. He thanks our Heavenly Father for almost EVERYTHING he does throughout his WHOLE DAY! It really is so sweet to listen to. He loves nursery and is a really good example to all the other 12 kids in there that are all YOUNGER than him!
Carden is also pool safe. He pretty much has been all summer, which has been a HUGE blessing so I don't have to watch three kids in the pool! He loves swimming and can swim the whole length of the pool!
Carden just makes us laugh. He is so sweet and Justin and I are still bad at cuddling Carden to sleep! The only thing that has been crazy is POTTY training. Carden is SOO SOO SOO good at HOLDING it. He has NEVER wet the bed at night. The only problem is that he holds everything a little TOO WELL. I have to make him go pee and we are still working with the #2. He is scared of the toilet for that one and I think it is because he is holding it WAY TOO long. I am just glad at least it is ONE diaper saved at NIGHT. We just need this #2 to be fixed. I hope it comes soon because baby #4 is coming in December and honestly I can't see myself changing 16 diapers a day! 8 diapers a day is already TOO MANY. I know we are crazy. We really are! I think I will have to train Carden to change diapers! The downside of having kids eat all their fruits and vegetables just means MORE DIAPERS! :(
