I'm so glad that my sinus' are starting to clear out! I've been in bed with ice on my head for the entire weekend. Too bad, it was beautiful outside too! I think the allergies got the best of me and knocked me out! So, I laid low and now I am feeling a bit better. The kids are at school, Matt is outside playing in the sandbox (with the big umbrella over him sheltering his fair little blonde head from the sun!) and I'm folding laundry and listening to the soft hum of the air conditioner! Thank goodness for air conditioners! I love the beautiful weather, but the trees budding and all the flowers are affecting me so badly this year. Being able to sleep at night with the cool air is really helping me feel better too. I'm sure my electric bill is going to be sky high (it's early to have the A/C's running) but I guess when you have allergies, you do what you must to be healthy, right?
I have a project half started on my desk, I'm going to try to get to it tonight to finish it up to show to you tomorrow. It's supposed to be 90 degrees here tomorrow, so I'm going to try to get all the laundry done today so the dryer wont have to run at all and add to that heat! Have a great afternoon!

New background...
Well I LOVE IT! Not sure what the rest of you will think, but I'd really love some feedback! My husband likes it, but I'm not sure if he is saying that because he really does, or if he is afraid to sleep on the couch tonight! ha ha Just kidding! PLEASE BE HONEST! I loved my blog before, thought it was quite classy... so if you think that was better then I'll go back!
Thanks so much to Lynn (Brilynn) for directing me to Cristi's Creations! She has some really beautiful ways to enhance your blog by giving it a background! All she asks in return is for a comment on her blog and a link on yours, so Cristi - Thank you so much for making such nice backgrounds and letting people use them free of charge. Nice!
Let me know what you all think of this new design of mine. Keep in mind, I have a three column blog, so some of the words on either side column may be hard to read if it lands on part of the pattern. I've changed all the font colors to black and you can read away if you just scroll! It's the pictures that are important and you can see those just fine!

It's a Sunny Day!
I have that song stuck in my head, it's from one of the kids cartoon networks and boy was that the truth today. What a beautiful sunny day out! The kids have been digging in the sandboxes all day and running around the yard. I finally got them in the tub and in their jammies. I hope they sleep well tonight! My allergies have been affecting me today, and so I'm just going to take an antihistamine and hopefully I'LL sleep tonight!
I ordered some awesome new items today. I mentioned yesterday that I was working on something new and some of them will be in the mail on their way to me on Monday, so I'll share as soon as they come in! I can't wait to create things with these... I think it will be a new addiction! I promise, I'll share hopefully by the end of next week! I hope you enjoy the rest of your day! :)

Nothing to see here...
Good morning all! It's been a few days since I have posted so I thought I better get on here and tell you what's what! :) It's been a crazy week or so. The kids were off last week from school and two of the three were sick. So that made for a very unproductive week. I actually made no jewelry to offer for sale. I've been doing some research on some new fun things that I will be showing you soon, so hang in there for that! This week has been another long one. One of the two sickies is getting better and the other is still hanging on to whatever virus is presently running rampant.
And to top it all off, the weather has been getting nicer, thus I feel the need to leave the socks in the drawer and cast the sneakers to the back of the closet. I've been walking around barefoot in the house for two weeks... um, yeah. A big no no for me! As some of you recall I broke my foot last August and was in a boot for 2 months. I was told that during my year long recovery period that I was to wear Sneakers or flip flops only. I am NOT a sneaker girl... But I did the right thing and wore them all winter. As soon as March hit, I took out the flip flops! YAY! They were so happy to see me! I've been wearing them since. Once I put them on, I don't go backwards! But I have also been walking in the house with nothing on my feet and they felt fine until last week. All of a sudden if I step on my foot a certain way, I feel like it's going to snap again.
Needless to say, my pretty Eliza B's have now been placed gently under my desk, hoping for a second showing soon, and I am walking around the house in my boot! I purchased a nice pair of supportive Merrell Sandals and have been wearing those to drive (I have a standard shift too, so that makes it worse!). I will NOT be putting on the sneakers unless I absolutely have to. *Sigh*.
So that's what I've been up to lately, how about you?? Any good stories to share? :) I'll be trying to get some new things up to show you over this 80 degree weekend that we are expecting! Can't wait for that! Hope you all have a great day, and wear your sandals for me! :)

M-I-N-E!
I seem to recall another post at some point last year where I put up pictures of a new piece, apologized to you, all my adoring fans, (ha ha) and simply marked it MINE! Well, I don't do it often but I did do it again with this one! Fabulous glass beads made by Lynn of Brilynn Beads, you can check out her work here. And the best part are these gorgeous silver spacers made by the one and only Yee at the Glass Turtle! I love Yee's beads and she is branching out and making new things. She has a website and store that you can check out here. The bad news is that these particular earrings went from the bead board, to the picture plate and then directly into my ears. The GOOD news is that Lynn takes custom orders for beads from time to time and also has some beautiful handmade beads in her shop, and Yee is always listing up new goodies as well so I can remake them for anyone who is interested! YAY! Share the wealth I say! Stop by in their shops, pick your favorites and let me know what I can make for you! Have a great Saturday!

Beachy fun!
I was asked by a customer to make a really fun necklace similar to my Bahama Mama necklace for a mothers day gift. I searched high and low and was not able to find any beads. Then one day a couple of weeks ago, I was on Etsy and I came across these! They were perfect and look at the end result! I love the color scheme, and the flip flops!
They were made by Mermaid Glass, and you can visit her Etsy shop here to see all the fun things she's got for summer!
Laurie's super nice and got my beads made and shipped really quickly! Go check her out if you are in need of some fun beads.
They really are "Just Beachy!"

More pretties...
It's such a beautiful sunny day here in CT! I'm so happy to see that sunshine, it's really a much needed thing in my life! :) I took my youngest to the park today for a bit so he could run out his pent up energy and then I took advantage of the sunshine to photograph some new pretty jewels that will be going up for sale in my Etsy store tonight! I'll be listing once the sun goes down so I can soak up as much of it as humanly possible! Can you tell I have a vitamin D deficiency? :)
I hope you enjoy the new pieces, stay tuned for more to come!

Sisters We Three...
Off we went today to Sisters We Three, to bring up my jewelry that the owners had requested of me a month ago. I met my deadline and they were so happy with everything that I brought. We got there and they checked everything in and then I asked if it was ok to take a picture of my shelf. Jan said that she was going to put out some of the new stuff I brought with me and that if I wanted to stop back after lunch, she would have it all ready for me! They are SO nice! So my parents and I went to lunch at the Grog, and when we got back they had it all set up so beautifully!
The "Return to the Wild" bracelet is the one I made last night as a last minute piece to bring with me, as if the 50 some odd pieces I have been making for them were not enough! ha ha If you remember, last summer I had a bracelet similar that I named "Call of the Wild" and so this one was appropriately named as a sequel to that! It was so late last night when I finished this piece that I could not take a picture of it. We had to stop for gas on the Mass Pike on the way up, so as my Dad was filling up, I was outside taking this photo on the hood of the car! I had brought my picture plate with me and was just waiting for the sunshine!
Here is a picture of my beautiful shelf that is visible as soon as you walk in the front door to the store! I'm right up front in a locked cabinet! You can't ask for more than that!
I love Jennifer Cameron's comment that she left me on Facebook, she said I was totally Vanna! I'm sure Vanna doesn't ever look THIS tired! I'm seriously wiped out! But I'm so proud! Here I am with the three sisters and owners of the shop: Jan, Ann and Cathy. They are so nice, and I'm very happy and honored to be part of this beautiful Artisan shop.

Bangles, Bangles and more...
These are my favorite kind of bracelets to make. They are so elegant and different and I have a ton of them in my own collection. I wear them with EVERYTHING! They have enough silver to be fancy, and the glass focals really pop! All of these were made by the talented Melissa! I LOVE her beads! My favorite is the Green one with the Celtic charm. Oh man, I'm struggling with letting this one go! It's so me! These were a special request for the Sister's We Three shop, and I know that they will love the variety that is heading their way this weekend. In addition to that today, I made some great earrings and ring bracelets with Carey's fabulous beads and a very cool pendant with Jena's awesome beads.
As stated in my newsletter that went out today, I will be stocking my store in the coming weeks, I just needed to get this inventory made and on it's way. I have some really pretty new things to add to the store so please be sure to check back in the next week for more jewelry! I can't believe I'm saying it, but it's Thursday again... where does the time go? I have my three hour stretch in which to create tonight, even though I made all of this today already! I can't wait to keep this ball rolling!
