So much has happened since 2013!

Let's start with February 28, 2014! I went on a blind date! I had told my girlfriend that it will be only one date, don't know if I am ready for this...

Been too Long.....

I am here just busy! First off I changed the name of my blog, from "Mary In The Morning" to "Whine Wednesday" I am hoping that the new name, I will post at least every Wednesday!

Second, I was not in the mood to stitch! so I didn't get much done! On the happy note, I did pick up my stitching again!

Third, I have been crocheting a lot, made a few scarfs! I have made 5 of these scarfs! So easy to make, sad note I gave them all away! This one is for my niece.

 

This is my new stitching project that I am working on, it called "Witched Witch" from La-D-Da. I love it, making it into a bell pull when it is finished!

Christmas~2012

Christmas was good, it was at my brothers, picture is of my dad, with my brothers and sister and their spouses. My sister and I are next to each other, she is in the purple. The family is growing! We also had a picture taken of my dad with his grands kids and great grand kids!

I babysat the girls after Christmas, all 3 of them

I was tired by Friday night, I think I will sleep till Sunday! I go back next week to do it again on Wednesday and Thursday! 

By the time David dropped off Miranda and I so Andrea could pick her up they were very tired also! We played every game in the book, we colored, played Monkey in the Middle with the dog! 

Very happy to say not too many fights! Now to think of some new games for next week!

Christmas Gifts

I did manage to make a few Christmas gifts these past few weeks, I did a family crossword for my kids with their last names, their names, theirs kids, family and Love! Added buttons for some of the things that they like. I had Sunflower buttons that I had gotten for Andrea, but put them away so I wouldn't miss place them, so now I am on the hunt to remember where the safe place was! I have a couple of others that have to be added to David and Amanda's I hope they like them! They were made on oil paint canvass, I just paint them with watercolors and acrylic, and put a finish when dry, then added heart stamps, this time I remember to take a photo of the names so I would know where to put the letters! I found the tiles at Goodwill stores, thrift stores, in our basement we had 2 games, just the game boards no tiles, where they went to God only knows!

This is a tree I made from some of my mom's buttons!  I think I will give it to my niece, she tells us her apartment is smaller than a Studio size and has no room for a tree, this might be perfect!

As for my stitching I still haven't picked up that darn needle yet! I am hoping after the first of the year things will change!
