Supposed to meet chelle and ahling for dinner tonight but end up chelle cannot make it, so I suddenly ended up with tonnes of free time! Cheesecake meeting soon though :)
So since I was already at kkh, decided to join family for dinner at watami. Originally I told them I could make it but now I'm free hahaha. Would be nice to have dinner with aunts before she goes on holiday to Sri Lanka (I know, how awesome right? What an adventure! I would totally travel there next time) :D
Hmmm so with plenty of spare time to spare - 2 hours to dinner time, went wandering around square 2. Quite a number of new shops! One totally caught my eye: Chocolat Factory. Looks like a chocoholic's dream shop. Especially a hungry one like me :/ Gonna buy something from there the next time when I come kkh next week! :)
And eh, some cafes and eating places. Saw one Vietnamese sandwich cafe which looks nice too! And a donut cafe. At novena square, saw a couple more new salad cafe, Asian cafe, coffee places etc.
So hungry! Remind me never to wander around restaurants/ cafes/ snack stalls when I'm hungry! Hahaha.
Went to see an exhibition on nurses at square 2. Pretty photos which captured the moment nicely. Nurses Day coming soon.
Hmm then caught 3 performances at Velocity. Heritagefest by national heritage board, there was a good exhibition there on the olden days of Singapore. Games the kids used to play, places of interest, landmarks, etc. Quite enjoyed myself actually, the trivia fascinated part of me loves stuff like this -.- okay it's probably the nerd part in me too. Pretty nice to know about singapore's past, don't you agree?

Watched an Indian strings performance, a Malay drama musical kind of performance, and a Turkish dance. Since when's the Turkish community a big parting singapore's heritage anyway..
Oh yay so had a nice afternoon entertaining myself and feeling like a taitai with nothing better to do than browsing in shops and wandering in shopping malls. I happen to enjoy spending time with myself anyway!
:D it's nice to have carefree days like these! So going to miss these times when school reopens :x
Hmmm so right now I'm in my favorite place in central waiting for dinner! Alrightly that's a long rambly post for nothing important hahaha, but so good for passing time! :)

Super long never update I realized! I always have so much to say but never enough time to pen (or type it all down). And not helping matters is that my thumb is plastered and my screen isn't sensitive to plastered thumbs. Oh well. Just the latest in a long line of gruesome injuries to body parts. At least it isn't anywhere as gruesome as the last toe sliced by metal frame one. Eeks thinking about it gives me the heebie jeebies.
