Why are humans proud?

Because they are not humble.

Sounds like a stupid answer someone likes to give when they're trying to be lame, but its really true. People are proud because they lack humility. Sometimes its also because people don't know what humility means. I'm slowly learning about humility and slowly letting it grow on me. Not really there yet, but trying. Just wanna get rid of pride. Pride is something that makes the world really ugly, yet it's getting more and more prevalent.

It is exactly a week before the first day of school

I'm really afraid of what this semester is going to bring.

I've been chilling out too often lately. Life is in an extreme laid back state. I qualify to stay in Aus right now.

6 things worth mentioning

A few shocking things that I encountered when I reached this place:

1. Terminal 1 of Changi looks like the worst airport I've been to all my life.

2. There was a car accident in the carpark of Changi terminal 1 and I saw it happen. I went to the toilet and came back and the police appeared.

3. I heard from my parents that I got fined $70 for U-turning at a place where U-turns were not allowed (and there wasn't a sign that showed that). This incident happened before I flew to Hong Kong.

4. My family is going to Malaysia on Tuesday and I'm going too.

5. My sis-in-law is pregnant with her third child.

6. A LONG (and I mean a few years) lost portable scrabble game appeared suddenly in my room.

Wow, I can't believe I digested these information all in one night.

Of Chemicals and Engineers

I feel like my future is SO TOTALLY RUINED when I chose to take this course. I'm so not going to become a chemical engineer. I'm so not going to face lifeless machines and lifeless equipments and meaningless job aims for the rest of my life.

Advice to incoming freshmen: don't ever take Chemical Engineering unless you have this uncontainable desire to lead a meaningless life. LITERALLY for the rest of your life because you lead a meaningless life in uni when you study this course as well. There're many many many other ways to earn money. Many other ways better than this. Other ways which help you grow your character, your life skills, your knowledge but here you only learn meaningless skills, meaningless knowledge.

My future is ruined. I dread being a Chemical engineer. I dread I dread I dread. I dread I dread I dread I dread I dread I dread I dread I dread. Being a Chemical Engineer.

I DREAD.

I so identify with the author of Ecclesiastes today. It is all meaningless.

Satoshi Yagisawa

OMG I didn't even know Satoshi Yagisawa came to Singapore and conducted NTU band! I am so totally disconnected to the Singapore band industry.

Professional Report

I just can't help but comment that I think my formal lab report looks extremely professional in PDF file.
