now that the _____ _______ is over, there is finally some peace and quiet. well, not totally, there're still lotsa chattering and the occasional shouting at the void deck by them, but it's much better than in the afternoon. well done!

yesterday was a day of sun, curves and sweat. nope, it wasn't a day at the beach playing. it was a day spent cycling up and down the 490753543 slopes malaysia has on its expressway from sungei ringit to desaru. all because we took the wrong route. we were supposed to take the beach side road would would have been far far far better than the crap route we took. and we saw snakes, hares, monitor lizards, squirrels and many more animal, squished up by the roadside, in the middle of the road, well, on the road. save for the squirrel. it was fine when we went (fine as in not mutiliated or anything), but it was mashed up when we return. tsktsk.

so i've learnt a lesson, which is to not be lazy and apply sunblock. my sunblock was snuggled in my bag for the whole trip, but i didnt take it out and applied it because i was jsut too plain lazy. ohwell, a tan's not bad anyway heh.

welllll, october's almost over. pw's almost over. revision's almost starting. i say almost starting because i've started. and stopped for many days, so i guess once pw's over, i'll revise everyday (hopefully). afterall, im free during the holidays ahem. dont have to go back to school much for ahem. so yeah i guess i'll stick around at home studying, and stick around at in the classrooms next year january ahem. HAHA!

i think i'm going to stop blogging now. because i'm hungry.

and THREE!!!!! (: time does fly when you're having fun haha (:
so come on, tell me.

"Have you heard of the illness hysteria siberiana?"

"No,"

"I read this somewhere a long time ago. Maybe in junior high. I can't for the life of me recall what book I read it in. Anyway, it affects farmers living in Siberia. Try to imagine this. You're a farmer, living all alone in the Siberian tundra. Day after day you plough your fields. As far as the eye can see, nothing. To the north, the horizon, to the east, the horizon, to the south, to the west, more of the same. Every morning, when the sun rises in the east, you go out to work in your fields. When it's directly overhead, you take a break for lunch. When it sinks in the west, you go home to sleep."

...

"OK," I said.

"And then one day something inside you dies."

"What do you mean?"

She shook her head. "I don't know. Something. Day after day you watch the sun rise in the east, past across the sky, then sink in the west and something breaks inside you and dies. You throw your plough aside and, your head completely empty of thought, you begin walking toward the west. Heading towards a land that lies west of the sun. Like someone possessed, you walk on, day after day, not eating or drinking, until you collapse on the ground and die. That's hysteria siberiana."

To all Employees:

Effective January 2008

Dress Code

1. It is advised that you come to work dressed according to your salary. If we see you wearing Prada shoes and carrying a Gucci bag, we assume you are doing well financially and therefore do not need a pay raise.

2. If you dress poorly, you need to learn to manage your money better, so that you may buy nicer clothes, and therefore you do not need a pay raise.

3. If you dress just right, you are right where you need to be and therefore you do not need a pay raise.

Sick Days

We will no longer accept a doctor's certificate as proof of sickness.

If you are able to go to the doctor, you are able to come to work.

Holiday Days

Each employee will receive 104 personal days a year. They are called Saturday & Sunday.

Compassionate Leave

This is no excuse for missing work. There is nothing you can do for dead friends, relatives or co-workers. Every effort should be made to have non-employees attend to the arrangements.

In rare cases where employee involvement is necessary, the funeral should be scheduled in the late afternoon. We will be glad to allow you to work through your lunch hour and subsequently leave one hour early.

Toilet Use

1. Entirely too much time is being spent in the toilet. There is now a strict three-minute time limit in the cubicles.

2. At the end of three minutes, an alarm will sound, the toilet paper roll will retract, the cubicle door will open, and your picture will be taken.

3. After your second offence, your picture will be posted on the company notice board under the "Chronic Offenders" category.

4. Anyone caught smiling in the picture will be sanctioned under the company's mental health policy.

Lunch Break

1. Skinny people get 30 minutes for lunch, as they need to eat more so that they can look healthy.

2. Normal size people get 15 minutes for lunch to get a balanced meal to maintain their average figure.

3. Chubby people get 5 minutes for lunch, because that's all the time needed to drink a Slim-Fast.

Thank you for your loyalty to our company. Remember we are an employer of choice and we are here to provide a positive employment experience.

Therefore, all questions, comments, concerns, complaints, frustrations, irritations, aggravations, insinuations, allegations, accusations, contemplations, consternation and input should be directed elsewhere.

Regards,
HR Department

OKAYYYYYYYY! i shall update my blog. been terribly lazy/no mood to update for the past ____days.

well, manymanyany things happened from the last update up till now (duh). quite hectic and rough and turbulent but at least things are starting to pick up now. which is good of course (: but slowly, there's no hurry in stuff like these.

went to school today early in the morning (which was perfect for sleeping in) to go listen to three adults bicker over whose school is better. i can't say i really found out stuff which i wanted to find out so OHWELL. but then again, i probably should just concentrate on my R-papers now. R-papers -sigh. what monstrosities.

"scary eruptions or lapses into some strange mutterings and violence" haha i am not crazy i tell you (: i feel quite empty now but luckily next week's coming uhh next week. so i'll look forward to that and not crumble into dust (:

i don't feel like blogging anymore. UNTIL NEXT TIME!
so come on, tell me.

i really really need to go do my work although it's after promos and the exams are over and i should go play. if i dont (do work), i'll die when school starts proper next year. ohshit what the hell is happening to me. it's just this stupid nagging feeling, probably because we're getting results back so damn soon.

ANYWAY on a brighter note, it's been a funfunfunfun week of break. makes you think that you're having holiday but actually you're not. there was ZOO on wednesday which was supersupersuper fun although before that i had rehersal but luckily most of the day was spent with (: and the rest who went. and ya, manymanymany nice stuff happened so it was a very enjoyable day (:

thursday started off rather badly. because it was a full day of doing-nothing-except rehersals. which wasn't really productive too, seeing how we had to report so early and only started quite late. so i left after only one run-through to get some stuff for farewell assembly and it's off to rescue people who are fast expiring. actually one person only HAHA. it was quite fun (but a bit tiring) running to the end of the world and to the dangerous place which everyone should beware of (:

and friday was farewell assembly and house champion stuff. glad to know that the seniors enjoyed the skit, we certainly had a lot of fun putting it together, seeing how crappy (in a good/funny/hilarious sense). as for the house cup stuff, CONGRATULATIONS PEGASUS. seems that tripping over your mane didnt stop you guys haha. as for ursa, well, you guys tried your best so i guess there's no need for regrets. well done to you guys too!

and open house on saturday was a BLAST. (i seem to be giving a run-down of the whole week) the whole good/bad cowboy/girl stuff was real fun, and it's quite nice to see that people are giving good reviews about VJ's open house. it seemed so recent that i went for the pirates&patriots open house. although i prefer pirates more, but i guess wildwildeast is pretty fun too. now for ORIENTATION! although i dont really want to do mass dance.

speaking about recent, time really does fly very fast. we're SENIORS already, well, let's just pretend that the new batch is already here. they'll be here pretty soon anyway. aaaaaaaaaaand it's already double-digit (: wow, fast eh? hahaha

okay feel like blogging anymore i think i should go do 9.4 or at least some of it so i dont feel bad tomorrow when bobby goes through it. although i think i would most probably leave it till tomorrow's 3-period-break.
so come on, tell me.

okay okay rachel soh. i had meant to blog yesterday but i went to eat then i lost my will to continue haha.

so ya, promos are over. F-I-N-A-L-L-Y. so now we can all just not study so much, and go have some fun. although we all are aware that we have to do probability, chi-squared rubbish, definite integrals blahblahblah. ohwell, it just won't stop haunting us.

it's been a funfunfun week so far. considering the fact that the week just started today (oh!). there's zoo on wednesday (!!!), but before that there's farewell assembly rehearsal and another rehearsal on thursday. rehearse rehearse re-hearse, pffft. and duh, of course friday's going to be farewell assembly in case you've been living under a rock and don't now what the heck is going on. then saturday's open house, and im going to be running around vjc dressed up as a bad black cowboy squirting you with water. wow-wee, i'd rather be at a western bar sipping tequila or something.

im looking forward to zoo, open house, keely full/half day where we get to have fun in the sun and run. it's really much less (?) restrictive after promos as i can now bum around at home watching hours of tv (cartoons, movies, documentaries, uhhh cartoons, you name it), reading, playing pinball, and just sleeping. or going out to walk around and take really long train rides (:

haha and oh, it's been a funfunfun week so far because today's children's day! and it definitely is the best children's day i've celebrated so far haha. thank YOU (: (: (:

i was looking through deviantart a while back, and im amazed by the stuff people can draw when they're free. here's one of a soap label:

so wow, that's just the kinda thing i'll doodle if i were that free, and have cool things like photoshop AND know how to use it. haha.
i'm going to play pinball now, and after (if) i break my high score, i'll go read and eat chips. CIAO!
so come on, tell me.
