number two hundred and ninty-eight
it's been a while. a long long long while and i bet all my fans missed me so much. dont deny it, i know you all do. i can tell from the tags.
HAHA! okay that was so big-headed but i did not mean it in the big-headed manner. i'll post! to keep you guys entertained. and do tag thank you very much.
okay, so i had initially planned to do mr chia's summation exercise today. i really did, but i went to AHS for training, then i went home, watched naruto. and just when i was about to start (i even had my pencil box out), i went to
bucky's blog and got an inspiration to post.
basically, i agree with the fact that doing something just because everybody is doing it is downright dumb and immature. smoking, littering, drugs etc. we all know what's good and what's not good for us, but apparently, some of us still choose to pick up the wrong habits. and they end up being in lots of trouble for it.
as for relationships, i think i've mentioned it before in my very old posts. but after so much time, i must say that my stand might have shifted a little in some way or another. it is not wrong to say that people get into relationships just because everyone else is. but it isnt correct either to say that all those that do, do so under the same reason. for some cases, it might just be the right one.
i guess the thing with relationships, is that you never know what's going to happen. we don't know. and i feel that this is exactly what makes a relationship. what's the point if we could predict everything that's going to happen, wouldn't it be plain darn boring? thus, the need for a leap of faith and just let time do its thing. good things might happen, and (touchwood), bad stuff might too, but no one would know until we give it a shot.
but bucky has a true maldivian attitude. just sit and wait. nice one LOL
okay i've ran out of will to post. so it's back to summation.
so come on, tell me.

"No, no, Grettel," said Hansel, "Don't fret yourself;
I'll cut off all my fingers and toes and you cut off
yours, and we shall drop them along the path so
we can follow them back home."
so come on, tell me.

"this hole you put me in, wasn't deep enough, and i'm climbing out right now. - MCR"
this was what was scratched on my table during econs lessons (not by me mind you, i do not "vandalise" -ahem). so it killed a good five minutes or so as i played all the MCR songs i know mentally in my head. it wasnt too hard actually, any MCR fan could tell that this line isn't from the latest album. after i found out what song it was, i went to hum the tune, much to the annoyance of bucky who was beside me and who listens to metallica.
today was a fun day. for some reason, the two days of this week has been very very fun. because it was the library quiz yesterday, during which we met the monster who would eat you when you go to the secluded areas of the library, as well as the different bosses of the stations. and who could forget dear mr ghundishapur, whose ashes are stored in sour cream and onion pringles container. but we threw it away today after the contents were finished.
and today was mat day where we went around talking like mat which was very entertaining. EH YOU GO RELAK IN ONE CORNER LA BRUDDER.
however, like how every econs essay question with a "discuss" in it, even ttoday has it's downside. and it comes in the form of MYEs results. oh those devilish pieces of paper that take joy in ruining a perfect day. i got a hat-trick. which is veryvery depressing because this is my first major JC exams and all that rubbish but HEY, i'm over that and already starting to work hard for promos. so there's no need to worry at all haha.
what a not-beautiful grade. S. let's hope that for econs and KI, it would be something much better, other than this S. or i might just go mad and who knows, eat your spleen or something. funny thing is that, i was just looking for a picture on deviantart to randomly post in this entry, and lo-and-behold, this S just appeared in one of the windows in DA. and i just had to take it.
well, STUDY-TIME! the fun.
so come on, tell me.

my much-awaited four-days holiday. im loving every moment of it, because it's been such a long long time since i've slacked a guilt-free...slack time.
was reading today's newspaper about the NS special. oh by the way, NCC/SAF day is 1st july, not last friday HAHA sorry. so yeah, NS special. it's kinda nice to read about something which you'll be experiencing soon in a year and a half time. it makes you anticipate what's about to happen, but yeah, i guess that's what the government wants. navy.
and would live earth be broadcasted on channel 5? because if it is, wouldnt it be broadcasted for the whole day, since it's a 24-hr concert and stuff. and broadcasting it would hog all the shows. but i really hope that SOMEDAY, big shot bands would come to singapore. and not only taiwanese "singers" and all the mando-pop-py songs. big bands, so that for those in singapore that appreciate their music (alas, the small number) can have a chance to enjoy their music.
talking about earth, oh man the weather is a KILLER. give or take a few more years and we just MIGHT winter in singapore, since the climate is now so crappy. which would be nice, because winter is nice and chilly and cold. a nice break from the sweltering hell-of-a-weather we have here.
so i was listening to +44's songs. and i think that they're a real nice band. two of the members were from Blink 182, which explains the punk-rockiness feel of their music. but i like them because of (beside their punk-rockiness, but also) their fluency in expressing some of the most common teen feelings in somewhat poetic but not that postic prose. and some of their songs have this bittersweet tinge to them, which relates to the listeners rather well.
i guess it's the punk-rockiness. they carve their image out of it, so the songs have this feel to it. and i like the way they write with regards to a "bad-kid" point of view, rather than stick to the conservative goody two-shoes image some musicians choose use.
+44 - Cliff Diving
Hey silly girl, I think I got a thing for you.
From late nights spent driving in this stolen car.
The years we wasted living in this desert town,
Haven't broken up so far.
Hot afternoons, we'd climb onto the neighbors house.
Breathed deep and jumped into a waiting sky.
Our bare feet were framed on the horizon.
I felt the future in your eyes.
It was the promise of summer.
We'll seal it with a kiss.
This time I'll do things proper.
How did it get to this?
Dear you, tonight let's get ahead of ourselves,
Past now, I barely can remember.
Yesterday stretched on for so long.
Tomorrow feels like forever.
My God, you know how much I needed this.
These days are filled with such disaster.
Sometimes I think that life will never be the same.
Sometimes I think that's the answer.
And she said, here comes the promise of summer.
Let's seal it with a kiss.
This time I'll do things proper.
How did we get to this?
so come on, tell me.
