THE WEEKENDS ARE HERE!!! and one that will not be burnt too, so it's a mighty good time to catch up on ALL subjects. which i'm seriously, seriously x 39478093275 behind.
so the week started off with house meeting which means house speeches. BUT mine's postponed to today, then postponed to next monday. which is an incredible stroke of good luck because i deleted stuff which are related to my speech. now, i have time to re-prepare.
the after class period today was ONE HUNDRED PERCENT C-R-A-Z-Y. because it was raining the entire oceans on singapore alone, therefore not many people went back and we just lazed around in class doing stupid stuff. and partially becuase christen was writing stuff so slowly like he always does. so the people in the class were either taking pictures of other people with their phones, making stupid noises, playing bridge/taidee/donkey/old maid with hell lots of S$10 notes (and i mean the money only. no poker cards), and pissing in the dark LOL.
fun.
okay i want to go watch tv now.
so come on, tell me.

everything is getting more and more these days.
homework is getting more and more TEDIOUS and annoying. it's like a monster breathing down at the back of your neck and a dog begging for you to take it out for a walk at the same time. no matter how you slave away at it, it just keeps coming. on and on and on and on and on.
after-school hours are getting more and more boring. sailing hasn't started yet. so there's no training of any kind so far, and i've been unofficially out of swimming (they're still bugging me to join the swim meet -.-) i wanna start sailing, i wanna wanna wanna wanna start sailing and i want to start it now now now.
house comm speech is getting more and more near. pardon the lousy sentence. but yeah, it's next monday and friday! dammit, 4 will be picked out of 7, meaning there's a 0.571428571 chance of getting any of the post in house comm. TENSION. how convenient would it be if there were only four nominees. not that i'm going to kill anyone or anything LOL.
on a side note, URSA WON THIRD FOR SCRABBLE (NERD) COMPETITION!!! we thrashed pegasus', draco's and phoenix's ass.
class is getting more and more fun. out class is like a zoo, or a tin of assorted biscuits. there are ALL kinds of people in 07S31, adn their antics never fail to brighten up the day. now all that's left is MORE CLASS OUTINGS THAT PEOPLE CAN TAKE PART IN. especailly after SYF so nobody can use syf practice as an excuse. and i've noticed that there are many performing arts people in our class and quite little sportsmen/women.
i most certainly have not studied for tomorrow's chem lecture test at this point of time. AND HELL YEAH, IM DEAD.
so come on, tell me.

THIRD WEEK OF APRIL. oh shit time does flies. soon it'll be speech. elections, and mid-year. ohwell, ho-hum.
oh yes, kayaking this saturday and and sunday with the NCC guys. can't wait. it's been so long since i've kayaked and so long since there was an activity where we can just screw around with each other. in the clean sense.
KI is indeed getting more and more fun. we discussed politics today and it's a sensitive topic, which makes it all the fun. but the workload for the subject has increased, greatly. two essays, but maybe it's just because we didn't make use of the first week to work on the due-two-week-later essay.
and i think that toxic waltz should've won for the band category in music fest. the instruments were damn good, and the vocals were awesome. it's just a pity that the genre wasn't one that was really "accepted" and familiar to the audience. it's not their fault really. but yeah, they deserved to win more.
okay i've ran out of random, linkless things to talk about. i guess i'll go start on my essay.
so come on, tell me.

"there's something inside me that pulls beneath the surface,
consuming, confusing.
this lack of self control i feel is never ending,
controlling, i can't seem..."
i remembered today that i saw a lady yesterday. she was in the car a few meters away from the one i was in. she was in the passenger seat, cross-legged, mirror down and applying some make-up of sorts. she wasn't wearing her seat belt.
i still can picture plam beach in my head. i still can feel the ice-cold water as they wash over my bare feet, flushing the miniscule sand grains out from between my toes. the wind caressing me, the afternoon sun gently beating down on my bare back. the waves crashing down, barely a few feet away from where i stood.
the surreality is breath-taking. i bent to scoop the water, to run my fingers through the sand, to stretch my sun-dried skin, to feel the wind ruffle my hair...
and tumbled back to reality.
gaaah, sometimes, i'ld give anything to feel like that again.
so come on, tell me.

PROCRASTINATION is the number one way of life in today's society. it can get you VERY far, just that you'll do nothing for the entire journey.
i blog as a form of procrastinating. because if i don't blog, i would be reading my "theory of production and costs" notes, which is terribly boring compared to updating my online diary.
it rained today. which is not really an amazing thing because it hasn't been raining for DAYS, and hey, it's bound to come sooner or later. well, it's a much awaited relief from the smothering heat, regardless of how brief the shower was.
oh and a second reason why it WOULD rain. because it's Qing Ming Jie. and like hari raya when it will definitely rain without fail, it rained today on Qing Ming too. okay, maybe it's just a coincidence that it rained today when i went to pray today. just like how "jack and sally" appears in both nightmare before christmas and i miss you by blink 182. HA bet you didnt know that!
okay as i said, i went to pray for Qing Ming today. and strangely, i felt happy. not that going to the temple and remebering the ancestors that have passed on is usually something that people would be happy about, but hey, why SHOULDNT we be happy about it? maybe it's just the temple, although one part of it was smoky like nobody's business (joss stick and incense paper etc), but hte other part was kinda serene.
it's the temple.
d'ah well. economics beckons, and it's hard to ignore the hooting of the cursed owl, although i know that it's jsut a figment of my imagination telling me to return to my notes. or i'll get my eyeballs raked out by Owl's razor sharp talons. brrr.
so come on, tell me.

the mercury has hit an all time high of god-knows-what degrees celsius. it's so hot i cant study. SERIOUS! the heat is so distracting and headache-inducing that i have to watch tv, mr bean(on veoh), and linkin park live in texas(on YouTube) to chill out.
note to self: it's a holiday. and you deserve to rest today because you've been mugging all week long. there. i feel much better.
SHORT POST. shant make it too long because i don't know what i want to post about.
till next time.
so come on, tell me.
