it's hard to understand why certain people think the way they do. the human mind is indeed complex.

why do some people act like howler monkeys (minus the howling) on a sexual rampage while queueing for indian food?

why do some look for others like them, and they stick like glue. while the rest that do not have pretty plastic faces and bodies like them are discarded and left to make friends with the flies and the cockroaches and other nasty things?

why are some things or people so near, yet so far? and so hard to get (close to, to know, you get the drift)? yet you can see it in their eyes, that somehow, they want to know you too. but what keeps them apart? so painfully apart. perhaps it's just a wild thought.

why can undeserving people can what deserving people SHOULD get? the good child can just watch as the brat buys the last ice-cream cone, only to watch him splat it on the floor, and laugh with their fellow undeserving fellows.

why does everything that is bad, seem to triumph over what's supposedly good, or better?

why can people get away with wrongdoings? so easily. just so easily.

why is it so hard to see the beautiful side of people? or is it really true that "if we cut out the bad, then we'ld have nothing left"?

my, my......

carlton ate the remote control because he was hungry. carlton had no idea he would die in his sleep four hours later.

he had some difficulty fitting the device into his mouth at first. being not too bright, he tried doing it lengthwise first. obviously, but not that obviously to carlton, it didn't help much. so he tried it width-down first. he managed to place the remote control into his mouth, up to the number 5.

his saliva kept slopping onto the rug. but he had to salivate to lubricate the entry of the remote control into his gullet. it's not an easy thing to do.

he got it down in the end.

the remote control was visible. if carlton stood in front of a light source you could see a rectangular in the shadow of his throat. carlton watched some telly before going to bed.

poor carlton.

p.s. he was buried. cremation would destroy the remote control, and his mother still wanted it.

"wah! lerh zhing kui hor!"

*inserts subtitles* "wow, you're very tall!"

raise your hands if any relative told you that during cny visiting. it's one of the most standard out of all standard-things-to-say-when-you-see-your-nephew-niece-or-anything-in-the-same-context. so yeah, i'm aware of my height, thank you.

oh so yesterday night was spent at new york. the restaturant, mind you, not the USA place. 'cos it was gary's 18th (?, you never know right) birthday. happy birthday ogl, you're now able to buy alcohol and cigarettes. drink! smoke! be merry!

okay, smoking sucks. and drink at social events and don't drive after you drink, though i doubt you know how to drive. yet.

i need $77 to go to the fall-out boy concert, though i'ld rather spend $974302978402343 on MCR's concert. that is if they EVER notice this small lil' island, singapore. mr cook said that we're best at being between the ______ ocean and _______ ocean. no one can beat us at that. so rejoice! we're good at something, and the angmohs can't claim that they're better than us at that. ha!

and now to complete econs, maths, and chem tutorial. damn the cursed stuff that came out of Pandora's box. *whacks her itchy fingers*

happy lunar new year to ALL. bet many of you folks out there got lots of cashies from your ang pows. go on, go spend them on clothes and bags and flip-flops and what-not. you're RICH.

ME? i got to go to SYDNEY. while you people were slugging away in singapore doing your visiting or whatever you do during cny, i was probably riding the waves in palm beach. =D

this sydney trip was a REALLY awesome-ly fun one. it's sort of surreal out there. people are just chilling out (summer time there), enjoying their lives. unlike singapore, where every day is a rat race where you work your ass off. or study your ass off for the matter of fact. so it's a real good breather to just go somewhere faraway and relax.

sydney has B-E-A-U-tiful beaches. seriously. they're not crummy beds of sand with bubbles of god-knows-what on the surface, and driftwood floating all over. the beaches there are WHOA. the distance from where the wave meets the water to the other side of the shore is already so friggin long. and the water is crystal clear, and cool. very cool.

but what really struck me was how the students there pass their days. it's not as hectic as singapore, but the students are still able to provide substantial results. and what's more, they study RELEVANT stuff, relevant to what career they wann pursue in the future. unlike singapore where you mug away at differentiation and trigometry. but we don't really have to use them next time. unless you aspire to be a math teacher.

if only i could take a plane there in the morning for school, and be back here after school. wouldn't it be nice?

and thanks to the trip, i'm now addicted to punk rock music. i hear it almost everyday EVERYWHERE i go. probably because it's summer, and summer is the season of punk and rock. don't ask me why.

back to reality. you know, one could feel the SIAN-NESS and the i'm-back-to-this-shit feeling when the plane landed in changi airport. seriously.

so vj had the cross country today. pretty much screwed up. so many competitive people. pfft, slow then say right? yeah. i practically walked the remaining 2km? i think. the full route was 4.8km by the way.

okay, maybe not 2km. 2km is ridiculous.

so i guess that's all for now. since i have so much free time and i'm not going to use it to study for bio or chem or econs or trigo, i'll go change me blogskin BECAUSE SOMEBODEH WHO PROMISED ME A SEPHIROTH SKIN HAS NOT MADE ONE FOR ME.

lol. ciao.

to blog about the aftermath.

firstly, congratulations to all those that got your desired L1R5 which means that you all would most probably stay in your desired JC, of get to go to your desired JC. for those who didnt schore as well as you all wanted, well, life's like that. appeal to get into your choice JC, because that's the only way now.

i'm one of the latter. so yeah. appealing after the posting if i (touchwood) don't get posted to vjc.

thanks to those who encouraged me and stood by me. really appreciated it alot. heartfelt thanks. well, it's gonna be the longest and most torturous 3 weeks of my life so far, because the wait is killing.

HOPE. all i can do now is hope. though it's kinda sucky to go to school and know that the possibility that you might never return (or study, to make it sound less emotional) there again. so have to appreciate and savour every moment.

pfft, i've been looping CHE.R.RY for the *checks iTunes* 23rd time straight. and i'm still not sick of the song. it's a really really really really nice song. and it's my comfort now while i slave away on inequalities.

well, that's all for now. there's SLV tomorrow, so i'll have to complete much of my work by today. ciao.

"fight on."
so come on, tell me.

YUI's upcoming single is absolutely superb. a spring-themed single appropriately titled CHE.R.RY. her songs really just keep getting better and better and nicer and nicer. SUGOI

i'm looping the sample over and over and over again until i go to sleep tonight.

and so it's confirmed. FRIDAY is the day of days. where we go to school and bawl our lungs out after/before/while collecting the O's results. kinda long way to go to friday, because today's only monday (DUHHH) but i guess it'll pass in a jiffy and BAM. we'll be back in secondary school and listening to our principals talk for about and hour first before we get what we went for.

and today we had SC candiadates prancing about on stage and dancing to sexyback and meowing. but URSA still pwns them all. as usual. quite cool actually.

OH. econs test tomorrow. HOOT just had to postpone it from friday to tomorrow. but the plus side is that we don't have to slave through her darn tutorial. until a much much much later date.

and there were many heidi's in school today who looked like they could milk many cows.

this week is finally approaching the weekends. don't know why, but it seems as if this have been the most draining week so far. probably because of so much time spent rushing econs tutorials. those things really can kill you.

well, the O's results will be released next week on either monday, tuesday, wednesday, thursday or friday, depending on what rumour you want to believe. but it's not really the taking back of results itself, but rather the possibility that our class might be split up.

yes yes, it might be hard to imagine me bonding with my class, but 07s31 is truly a wonderful class. okay, whatever christen might be worrying about now, there's still some hope that hopefully what he's worrying about won't come true. but yeah, although it's a short few weeks together, it really has been a fun time. with all the retarded stuff that you guys do everytime, well, it'll be hard when some of you all (touchwood) have to leave.

time for bleach.

oh and heard that the SC nominees are starting to campaign on monday. well, all the best to those running for the posts. go j
