okay just a post before studying.
last night was the esplanade concert: en suelo something something something. went with ncc, of course, and met sphinx in suntec. we're always bumping into them everywhere. and we were almost late. because of many holdbacks and toilet going trips. one person would go get someone out from the loo and stay there to take a piss. and the cycle goes on and on -.-
but reached there on time.
the concert was FREAKING GOOD. including the soprano women. shall not really elaborate cos they were really really good. don't know how to express it in words. you have to be there to understand.
took some photos when the whole thing ended and went home to sleep.
time really flies damn quickly. tomorrow's august already, that means prelimes are around one and a half month away. before you know it, it would be the O's already. well, it really is time to let go of everything and study like i've never done before.
but anyway,
WELL DONE, PERFORMING ARTS PEOPLE!!!"would you lie with me, and just forget the world"

went to school with a helluva headache. as if my whole head was damn heavy. but as the day went by it got better, and ended in the same state as the morning -.-
all thanks to the freaking weather. so hot for a moment, and raining the other. if you call that rain. it was measly.
read a few blogs just now. all of them are starting to study. "time to study", "time to chiong o-levels", "now's the time to study". easy for them to say huh. although we DO have to study, it's not as easy as it sounds. it might be for some, and i envy them.
but whattheheck, STUDY!!!
like my life depended on it.

student council investiture 2006. this is it when the 38th batch steps down for the 39th batch. so long 38th, hello 39th. all the best in what ever you all do.
of all days, chai had to choose to pms today. during our NAPFA. when we have already completed FOUR stations out of FIVE stations, excluding 2.4. thanks to his weather-like mood, we have to retake ALL the stations next week. thanks a lot chai, i seriously think that you should get a check-up to determine your mental state. and please get a doctor's cert to prove that you're fit to teach. sheesh.
decided not to pon physics. because if i pon any physics lessons, i believe i would lag behind and die in physics hell.
but the rehersal was fun. stayed in the soundbox to play and listen to music and call people to tuck in their shirts although we've already hinted to him/her/it many times. and calling whoever we see cute when they're walking out (with the mike). and broadcasting ziqi's, yiyee's, mingjun's and wei hua's conversation for the whole world to hear. and watching wei hua getting beaten up by ziqi for pulling his shirt. LOL
the walk-in was kinda cool. and the dance was kinda cool as well, albeit the slight messiness due to the number of people dancing. but overall, well done.
gaaah the irony, i have to complete my zuo wen on the down-side of blogging.

SHORT DAY. sometimes equals good day. for today's case, it's so-so.
nothing much to do online anyway. decided to push my zuo wen back to tomorrow. "didn't hear" opg saying anything about it anyway. hopefully tomorrow we'll get to continue hotel rwanda, instead of time practices. bleargh.
oh and there's investiture rehersal tomorrow. not walking in for the sake of walking and other sake and have to stay in the soundbox to play davy jones music. in short, i'll be in the soundbox playing music while the green-blazered-red-tied people walk in. FUN
gaaah sciences day tomorrow, which translates to sleepyheaded-ness. mainly during physics, physics and physics. unless tomorrow tth is giving out the paper, which whould make us sian instead of sleepy to the extent that we cannot listen to her anymore.
and now i have to go fetch my sister back from school.

founder's day celebration ended prematurely for me yesterday because i had to leave for some family buisness. considered as skipping school, but who cares anyway, there's only the finale left =/
the whole thing was oooookay. saw the performances many times, but it was still more enjoyable than the talk. talk talk talk, well, gotten use to it already.
now there's only the esplanade concert left. but for now, i have to revise for my history test. whole book tested, one question out tomorrow. OH THE FUN.

o.O my suggestion is not out yet. can somebody enlighten me on the reason why? thank you.
i think that sometime we just have to let people fall so that they'll know how painful it is and how difficult it is to get up. afterall, they're still learning, and failures are bound to come around here and there. but what matters is how one pick themselves up and move on. and reflection too, you can't forget about reflection.
i've done my fair bit of reflection these few days. and i've decided to let some things go on as they are. no harm done to me, no harm to those involved yet. sometimes it's just better to let things go their way. and watch the drama slowly unfold. ohwell, i've done my best guys, it's up to you all now.
school, well. you know how it was. mdm ho did a very wise thing today. she had to keep up back for prac to scold people about their work. problem was that there was this rehersal of some sorts that ONLY some were involved. but she still kept us back.
"never mind the scolding. i still get scolded if no good results are produced. better to get scolded for something less worth it."
something like that. ain't she clever? right on.
alkane, alkene, carboxylic acids and alcohol tomorrow. "not going to be difficult". gaaah, how credible is that eh?

what a normal day.
life's rather monotonous now. it's all work, school, eat, sleep over and over again. plus now school doesn't really has anything worth going to for, 'cept to study, of course. wouldn't really mind opting for studying at home, but i guess the revisions are kind of important.
and there's no cca, no activities to take part in, no this no that no nothing. ohwell, life of a sec4. gotta live it for half a year more before i break free.
it's, let's see, maybe about one month more to prelims? so i guess it's studying all the way now. as much as i dread an uneventful life, this is inevitable. GAAAAAAH.
ain't feeling so good. plus tonight is a tv-less night.
dinner.

to hell with the previous post.
well, went to my bro's campfire just now at ngee ann sec school. this is the first time this noob here is attending a campfire, so i thought that it was rather cool. as in the mood of the participants and all. seldom get to see that in ncc, do that in hq and you'll get ooc. lol.
they have their good points i have to admit. it's FUN.
and this post is a tribute to my brother. it's his first year in ngee ann scouts, and he already has gotten quite a prestigious award. 4 out of 800+ eligible.
i'm proud of him.
and AH guides and scouts were there too btw. and i met up with some of my OB Sabah friends. so the evening was quite an enjoyable one.
my day ain't so bad afterall.

every once in a while, great people would go do very stupid things. such as head-butting an opponent in the chest during the world cup finals and getting red carded and leaving your team to suffer on the field. c'mon, WHAT'S UP ZIDANE???
it's really wasted that such a pro player has to end his international soccer career on such a disgraceful note. and i guess france didn't really have any mood from there on to play. world cup 2006 goes to ITALY.
world cup 2010 south africa would go to GERMANY. i just know it, look at their new team, klose, podolski, schweinsteiger, odonkor, lahm etcetc. by far one of the strongest youngest players in the field for this world cup. definitely coming back in 2010. they're going to kick ass.
a-maths common test was rather, screwed? tedious i guess. it was a tedious paper. the rest of the day was chilly, just the way i like it. and thanks to the host being on the other side of the globe, sleep was missed out and i'm nothing but SLEEPY now. dinner, some hw, z's.
oh, and did i mentioned germany is third? followed by portugal?
"oh bugger"
so come on, tell me.

germany faces off portugal in er.... a short while. GO GERMANY.
my day's pretty balanced. had lots of fun with the part-d's at chuas house. but earlier in the day went to school to watch perfomances rehersals and help paint a bit of the PA box.
last time it was evelyn losing things when going to chua's house for bbq. now one of us lost something when going there too. so it must be something with chua's house. =/
went there and swam first, and of course, did lots of stuff. but we got scolded by some DUDE for stupid reasons. "please don't play soccer here, later hit the children" when they were like in the pool and we were quite far away? "can you all not kick the ball? do you want to hit the cupboards?" -.- too free.
eat eat eat, tried to lure kittens out of the bushes, lychee marathon, indian poker with ever-changing rules, photos, chua in the pool, soccer. damn fun.
i thought of sleeping. but what's the use.
"quit it, PUNK"

germany is not going for the finals. portugal is not going for the finals. now it's down to ITALY vs FRANCE. well, may the best team win, although it's not germany. tsk.
germany went down rather disappointingly. attack attack attack, no use in the end. i thought that portugal's match against france was much much more exciting than the one germany played italy. rather wasted for portugal though. so many shot, none found the back of the net.
two early mornings of matches are taking it's toll now. slept during english yesterday, but did not sleep today because it was cold. so i'm rather awake. ironic huh?
moe excel rubbish tomorrow, so dismissal's at twelve. but there's still this bio test.
which i've yet to study for.
=/

THE MATCH TOMORROW MORNING. germany vs italy. "explosive match" as quoted from the straits time. so i'll watch it, as there's no test tomorrow, and school? cmon, it's the world cup season. and it's going to be over soon.
so today was the belated ncc day. actually it's just SAF day, but because of the affliation, you have ncc day. and after school went to canteen to shout as if the whole place was ours. yam seng only. nothing much. lol
nothing much to say actually. school's still the same, hw's still coming in truckloads.
ciao, hw, dinner, study, sleep, soccer.
