-don't ask questions with obvious answer. noob. LOL.
*seven things to win my heart:
-treat my family members well.
-good character.
-be a person who is the real you and not try to be somebody else that you are not.
-good taste in music.

-there's a purpose for EVERYTHING.
-fate. for some situations only.
-the world is NOT flat.
-i can become who i want to be in the future.
*seven things i'm afraid of:
-i'm not doing my duty as a son well.
-ahsncc not getting gold unit.
-not being able to let go of certain things when the time comes for me to let go.
-myself. i do stupid things sometimes.
-the guy opposite my block who is pointing a rifle at me. kidding.
-(anything you want to put here.)
-(seriously, nothing already.)
*seven things i do everyday:
-LISTEN TO MUSIC. i can't live without it.
-usual stuff like i-don't-need-to-say-sleeping-brush-teeth-etc-etc.
-read.
-use my lappy.
-drink milk. daisy fresh milk. i like the vanilla and the mocha flavour.
-go on msn. i have to kick this habit.
-wish my parents and siblings a good night.
*seven people to do this:
-(your name here)
-(your name here)
-(your name here)
-(your name here)
-(your name here)
-(your name here)
-(your name here)
here you go. all done.
today was a rare day. it's not always that you go to your relatives house. and year by year the number of them gets lesser and lesser. it's sad if you think about it. so treasure this moment with them.
well, more visiting to do tomorrow. that's all for today.
good night world.

in about 10 more minutes it would be the year of the DOG. the chicken year is doggone.
well, this is it. the new year. REAL new year not the 2005 - 2006 transit. traditionally real new year. so i think i should set some goals.
...
ok i'm done. what? were you thinking that i'll write them down? kidding.
just want to wish all you chinese out there, be proud that you are chinese. corny but SERIOUSLY, i'm proud to be a chinese. you should be too. wish that all of you would have a real prosperous year ahead.
for part-delta 06: brothers. soon we'll be gone. just want to say that the past few years with you people have been a hell of a joyride. we got punished together, wnt through all kinds of shit together, go to hq scold yalams together, we ran the company together. thank you all for being such great and wonderful brothers. good luck to all of you. NCC OWNS ALL!!!
for part-charlie 06: you all taking over soon already. PULL UP YOUR DAMN SOCKS. we don't want to handover to noobs ok. it's real good to have you all as cadets, great bunch of people. study hard too, or else don't even think of promotion.
for part-bravo 06, part-alpha 06: long way to go for you guys. work hard. bond well. remember one for all and all for one. listen to ur sergeants at all time even if they call you to do stupid thing. it's for your own good.
for council, functions: council, some times you all never fail to amaze me. one thing for sure is your spirit, it's amazing. keep it up, but i think that you all can be more professional. and for functions. equally fun as pa/it. although i'm still doing pa. i think that you all are a great group to work with. interesting people.
for 4L 06: my class. i'll ap you all. no kidding only. nice people. don't always study can? must have more fun. although o-levels, but must learn to relax a little bit. what's you favourite flower? LILY!
for all the people i know, happy chinese new year.
my job is done here. ciao.
"i promise to own the o-levels."
so come on, tell me.

part-delta 2006 is the best.
today was the cny concert. zoe boon invited people from other places to celebrate. not very convenient, as they did not know what we were talking about for some performances.
to all part-charlie 2006: GOOD JOB. you made the audience laugh their butts off. im proud of you all, keep up the good work.
then after the whole thing went to watch huo yuan jia (fearless) with part-d. we went to plaz singapura at first. then the cinema there were "so nice" that we had to be past out birthdays to watch the nc16 movie. sheesh, it's our money you're earning.
so we went to cathay. much nicer and smarter people.
it's a great movie by the way. equal mix of action scenes and meaningful scenes and sad scenes. i recommend it to all that can watch it. really.
er. so tomorrow is chu xi. then chinese new year. have a HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR.
good day.

i'm posting, listening to music and writing my english compo at the same time.
piece of cake.
today was a fun day. firstly, winston chai ap-ed the class. AGAIN, AS USUAL. well, i guess that it's probably the root of the problem that is the real problem. so get rid of the root, you get rid of the ap-ness in chai. 4L should know what the real problem is. or who for the matter. ha.
then the rest of day was crackers. chem test was a mixture of tikam, common sense, logical deduction.
then chua did something stupid today. he made the upper sec sing the school song and "invited" choir members up to lead them. not a very smart move dm, but ohwell.
how the hell did the other string on the guitar that is in the council room break. SHEESH.
after school was the cny convert rehersal. hung around to do reviewing of the rehersal as well as see the cca groups perform. some performed extremely well, some below expectation. bah.
nice.
really nice.
tomorrow's another rehersal. i bet my last dollar that i'll stay to see it.
ciao. shall go complete the layout for my compo then do it tomorrow in class.
"the behind one nicer."
so come on, tell me.

i usually don't blog when the sun is still up.
ohwells.
a promise to myself. after tomorrow that means after revising for the chem test today and after school tomorrow, i'm going to get into the chinese new year mood aka relax. i really need a break. i could barely keep awake during choo hua hua's lesson today. not that anyone could.
BUT. after my break of five-(maybe three) days, i'll have to get my ass back up and really mug already. because the o-levels are coming blahblahblah.
so let's see. chem test tomorrow. acid bases salts QA. 40 mcq questions. fun. there is a 1 / (4 to the power of 40) chance that i can get full marks by guessing the answer. oh the fun.
i miss doing things that i do during the holidays. they seemed so nice. but all these has passed. now everybody is busy. busybusybusybusybusy. can't help it though. it's all part of growing up. but sometimes we do need to take a break and just be free. even for a while.
yes i still blog. it's been 88 + 8 days since. lucky number eh?
guess i'll go revise for the test now.
ciao.
"where'd you go, i miss you so, seems like it's been forever, since you've been gone."
so come on, tell me.

congrats to ncc, gg, sjab, cd, ho, dance, co for getting into the cny concert. you all did an awesome job. for those that did not get in, try harder. there's always another year.
i think that a prefectorial board should be set-up. council can't do a good job at discipline i must say. so we need a prefectorial board, if ccp really wants to go all out with the current discipline issue.
ss test and chemistry. sbq and 40 mcq on acid, bases, salts, QA, respectively. i havent even started on either yet. c'mon it's chinese new year. can't we get a break and get into the mood?
i think all this constant studying studying studying is affecting the lives of students. we are not made to study. we should get breaks some times. but the situation that is presented to us disallows that. ohwells.
agenda for tomorrow: do zuo wen, revise for both tests, hopefully complete my maths.
im still so awake as i slept in the afternoon.
"no wonder"
so come on, tell me.

i think that the way of learning chinese and teaching chinese should be changed. since what is tested is changed.
went to watch memoirs of a geisha after school while the rest of the people watched i not stupid too (two). very very nice movie. sad movie too but it had it's funny moments and a happy ending. if i can i'll watch it again and maybe get the dvd.
i'm starting feel that homework is given not for us to practice but rather as a demonstration of a lesson taught for the day. we students might and can choose to see it differently, but that's how the teacher presents the idea to me.
off to continue studying for bio test. it's tomorrow. and i hope it's more decontextualized.
bye.

a post before i sleep.
today was the opening of the centre of excellence. in anglican high school. with the minister of education coming in a sliver mercedes. and hundreds other cars that can't really be bothered to look at our white gloved hands pointing the direction to them.
enough about that. it wasn't really an exciting event anyway. unless you are boon and love your face so much.
completely half of choo hua hua's homework. im left with three pieces. there's a pattern to how he gives his homework. it's just that i can't figure it out because it is too random. random numbers that he scribbles on the whiteboard and writes H-W above them.
thank you hua hua. woof.
memoirs of a geisha tomorrow.
"luckily i took the bus."
so come on, tell me.

free pieces: allegretto ( J. Kuffner), etude no.1 ( F. Tarrega), romance de amor (Anonymous)
choice pieces: my lady ( H. J. Ellis), pensando en ti ( A. Alba), romance ( J. K. Mertz)
GUITAR EXAMS. march 13. coming soon. my sight reading still sucks. and i just found out the the chord accompaniment is look and strum. no time to figure out what the notes are.
busy first half-of-the-week. monday afternoon, return no.1. tuesday afternoon, briefing for traffic control. wednesday afternoon, traffic control. we're talking 100+ cars and might have to park them outside the school. oh the fun.
let's see. chem test on acids, bases and salts and QA for this week. bio and ss test next week. i don't they get as much tests around hari raya or deepavali. sheesh.
went to the band concert last night. well done band and well done sng. but why the heck was the catholic high people there? nuisance.
microkillers week on national geographic. ebola, flu etc etc. NICE.
time for matrices. can easily pwn this topic.
ciao.

i think this sucks. i'm in a crummy mood now. so i'll go have my dinner first to un-crummy-tise myself.
be right back.
back. but still feeling rather crummy. ohwtheck.
wednesday, laksaday. today was the day before the due date for the jian bao and powerpoint presentation thing. i didn't do one. and i asked serene to tick that i've handed in both assignments. FAT HOPE. i still got told off by wby. but i got away with the presentation crap.
physics lessons are perking up. tan tai har makes the lesson interesting, as considered to my former physics teacher. blahblahblah.
OHYA. pe. winston chai has a cool style. but he's not well-liked and many people throughout sec4 wants a piece of him.
dm chua's fame is probably in the negative thousands by now, according to gui cheng. but i was away looking at some school that sent their girls wearing i-dunno-what around their waists and jumping around the indoor basketball court. mind-numbing waste of time.
BB day tomorrow. good day to all bb'ians.
jiongrui: ncc go fight war, then guides can cook food, scouts build fortresses and stuff. bb and gb can pray.
-.-
i shall go do my work now.
"time to let go, back to square one"

this is the third time i'm re-writing this post. i'm re-writing a lot of stuff.
RAIN. RAIN. RAIN, (pauses to refill heavenly water tank) RAIN. RAIN. RAIN.
mr yow did not announce it AS USUAL. maths lesson was a bor AS USUAL. i made an ambigram of my name. i'll touch up on it the next maths lesson. ____ ___ ___ teaches like himself. no word can describe him. it's up to you to get the meaning.
chinese. got fragged by wby. so now i have to do two jian bao, and prepare two presentations in one day. and i still have ____ ___ ___'s maths to catch up on. using heymaths. THE JOY.
i'm getting a counter. because i'm paranoid that i have no readers. =)
(gets counter)
there. a spiffy new stats counter.
and english was writing some compo. i wrote half a page, no lines excepts between paragraphs, then i crumpled that up and wrote another one. fun.
so off to do my work now. or try to. sad case. i have to complete school work while the rest of the muslim community celebrates.
HARI RAYA HAJI - in advance.
bye.
so come on, tell me.

orientation was a job WELL DONE. well done ncc. well done (in chronological order) bayonet, unarmed combatants, pt and pds. well done khoo for organising the cadets and making sure the trainings are carried out. well done all instructors that trained the part-b's and c's in their performance.
now we wait for the results. gut feeling tells me that we'll have quite a handful of entries.
but it's rather inevitable that we get pissed off during orientation. first but not-so-pissing was the rain that had to fall right before our performance. take it as the ultimate sacrifice: our performance delayed in exchange for other ug-groups performing earlier. next, is the usual bad-mouthing of MY cca by OTHER cca groups. some. namely (you-know-which-groups-you-are).
sheesh. put a sock in your mouths. a bit is alright, but going overboard is damn childish.
i just realised that the sec2 batch (2006) has a few talents in the field of blogging. unique way of posting. and very readable posts.
sooooooo for now, HOMEWORK. all done with ss. left with choo hua hua's maths, holiday homeowrk maths which i predict i would not need to do, chinese (must do or wang bi yu will eat me) and some other stuff like chem blahblahblah.
i want to make an ambigram of my name. that would keep me occupied during choo hua hua's lesson.
angels and demons - awesome book. i'm going to finish it now.
ciao.

sec4. it feels good being a sec4. for now that is. because the stress and other things have not settled in yet. but it should be fun.
did the target setting form today. from 10 last year to 7 for mid-year. that's my target. and i'll damn sure follow it and work towards it this time. no more slacking. today is the last day of slacking. tomorrow is a new day.
guess i have to set my priorities again. and balance a few of them.
downloaded the whole of final fantasy VII : advent children OST this afternoon. it's SUPER nice. very very very nice. an awesome soundtrack, hybrid of rock and classical music.
ohwell. today's a boring day. went to school to dunno-do-what-heck. and there was this council-og groups thingy that had to be on this afternoon. wanted a full-dress rehersal, now it'll have to wait until tomorrow.
now to prepare for tomorrow.

first day of 2006. i slept until 1130.
resolutions. right. no one follows them real faithfully. and it's not really clever to make them at the beginning of the year. because anything might change. then your new year resolution won't be during the new year because you might have changed it in the middle of the year.
-.-
well. it's the 'o' levels this year, so of course i want to do well for it. so i'll have to study hard. and i'm not having a good start at it. i've not done ANY homework yet. maybe i'll get demerit points this year. but i think that if you don't return the green form and the teacher forgets about it, you'll not get demerit points. so ohwtheck.
see how first. maybe rush through it when school reopens. all the more fun. =D
i shall spend tomorrow rebooting my brain. revise a bit of work. and i really need to do that. seriously, remind me to revise my work. or i'll die during the first few months of school.
SLEEP. good night world. enjoy and good luck for 2006.
"I won't be just a memory."
