morning lights;

and all that dreamy nonsense. ;)

Okay, so it's New Year's Eve. And I'm welcoming 2008 at home. Again. Let me just try not to think of every single human out there who's welcoming 2008 in a much funner way than I am.

So, to keep my mind of it, I've come up with my resolutions for 2008! =D

New Year Resolutions - 2008
1. Cut down on fast food and junk. Only healthy food!
2. Cut down sugar and carbs.
3. Exercise at least twice a week.
4. Gain more control of my temper.
5. I won't let my brother get the best of me.
6. Complain less.
7. Be a better person in general.
8. Haha, fellow future classmates, I wanna beeee assistant monitorrr!! LOL.

Okay, I know those aren't much, but oh well. =D
Happy New Year everybody! Wish you people tons of lucckkk.

I don't know why I feel this way all the time. I can't even explain it to myself, let alone to others. When they ask, I am speechless and I just don't know what to say. In the end, what was never said is never heard and never known. What is the reason I'm like this? I don't even know. God, just why can't I be a better person? I don't want to be this way.

Sometimes, people strive so hard for the things they want. But in the end, no matter how hard they tried, it doesn't even work out. It makes us wonder, is it worth it? How hurt are we going to be if this doesn't happen? Will time wash away the pain? Or will it linger deep in the corners of our hearts only to linger there... forever?

Is the past any better than the present?
Is it my fault that things are this way?

I wish I knew.

So, it just so happens that the next time I get to blog would be tonight; the night before PMR results. Greaaatt. I am majorly freaking out. I asked my sister, Ee Von to lend me her laptop for the night for my "freakout session" as I cleverly phrased. Hahaha.

Gosh, I need to.. I don't know!! Scream? AAAAAAAHHHHHHH.

I'm finally back from Macau! And I must say, "Macau? Hmm, nothing much."
The trip was overall boring. Haha, I'm feeling lazy right now so I promise I'll upload pictures later or tomorrow. XD
And oh yeah, to everyone I promised souvenirs, I am SO sorry because the stuff in Macau were so damn expensive I couldn't even get myself a souvenir let alone you guys! Really, very sorry. ; (
Christmas is tomorrow and the 27th of December is drawing nearer. Gosh.
I think my family and I are going up to Genting (again) for Christmas. Gaaaahhh, sometimes I just hate Christmas because of the disappointments it always leads me to year after year.

I don't know what I want.

And so, I'll be leaving for Macau at 9 o'clock tomorrow morning. Air Asia. o.o I'll be away till this Sunday night. Hopefully I shall be home with lots of nice pictures I'll be able to upload here! But then again, I have to hope my laptop's being a good girl/boy. o.o So yerps. Wish me luck? XD

And, PMR results are officially coming out on the 27th this month, which is next Thursday. Great.

Bye bye people! =D

.RESULTS.ARE.NEXT.WEEK.

I am blogging from a cyber cafe located at my apartment in Gohtong Jaya. You know, Gohtong as in Lim Goh Tong? The town that comes before Genting? Yerp.

Gosh. I was so bored. Finally we managed to get out of that apartment room. Maybe I'm claustrophobic?

Naaaaaahhhhhh. XD

I wonder what I'm going to do now. Counter Strike?

I wanna go home. ; (

I don't know if I'm just imagining it but I think there might ACTUALLY be progress in my Internet connection. Lol. I am here typing this post out and I can chat perfectly fine on MSN! Yippee? Yippee. Thanks Josh, it might be the IP address you gave. (Although I must say Firefox is still extreeemely slow.)

Anyways, people, take a look at my Christmas tree! XD

The theme is :
Red & Gold.

Clap clap? X)

And check out my ghost dog.

But you gotta admit, he's cute.
Right Benzie?

And I shall be taking off for Macau next Thursday!

My connection has been super crappy. Was supposed to blog looooong time ago. Really sorry people!

Okay, outing at the Pavillion on the 5th of December. People present were Hon Herng, Daniel, Haseef, Yish, Jon, Chan, me, and suprisingly Erin. Josh, Yi Rong, Yikky and Miz were supposed to
be there too but they went gallivanting off to Times Square before our movie ended. Hmph.

Watched "Across the Universe" which was superly boring. We nearly walked out. Which, by the way, is a big deal. It was supposed to be a romance movie, but it wasn't really romance, and it wasn't really anything else. So midway during the movie, Erin started complaining she wanted to go to the toilet especially since the movie was soooo boring. So fine, Chan and I decided to be nice and followed her.
When she finally got out of the toilet (haha, Rin!), we camwhored. In the toilet. Yes. I know. Jakun.

Chan's a not-so-good-camerawoman. XD

So, in the end, the movie did end. (Thank goodness, because Erin was about to fall off her chair by sitting so close to the edge out of boredom. XD) We went to eat! Check out the nice picture I got.

*phweeeet*

So, after lunch was walking around. And having teatime at a Japanese cafe where Hon Herng's sister and tuition teacher were working at. Then it was time to go home! Hahaha, I'm not going to post all the pictures here because it'd be too many and there's a LOT of stuff I have to post.

The next day, Chan came over! Mission? To bake muffins. We were supposed to bake vanilla and chocolate cupcakes but by the time we were done baking the vanilla ones, we were much too laz
y to bake the chocolate ones. Ended up lazing around in our dirty clothes in my living room camwhoring while watching OC Season 2 (which totally rocks by the way). XD

Before getting dirty.

Process of getting dirty.

Dirty. Or at least I am. Thanks to Chan. There's flour in my ears.
Thank you so much, Chan.

Results : My muffin-infested fridge.
(Don't ask me what the baby wet wipes are doing there. LOL!)

OC-ing after baking.

As Chan quotes, "Tamagotchi or mushroom soup, Laine???"
(LOL.)

Chan loves MY mushroom soup. XD

So called "champagne".
More like apple and peach flavoured blue sugar water.

Lunch was nice. Some new pizza by Dominos which I introduced to Chan that day itself. Called "Confidential Chicken" with awesome cheese sauce. Everyone should try it. ; ) Chan went home at 3.30 pm. To avoid the jam. o.o

Been shopping and walking a LOT lately. I think walking through shopping in high heels will definitely burn more calories than playing badminton for an hour? Right?

Anyways, hope I'll be able to blog soon. Like I said, my connection sucks. Haha.

Results are coming. Form 3s, nervous yet?

Ken Xhen turned 13 yesterday. Mum took me and him to Mid Valley to catch Enchanted. The show was just soooo happy, but nice. I liked the songs. And the prince is hot. X) But so was all-time famous McDreamy.

Went bowling after that. Beat my brother by 5 points although he got 3 "X"s and I only got a "/". I have no idea what they are called so I just used the symbols. =D However, the kiasu idiot refu
sed to admit defeat. As I expected.

Later at night, Mum drove over to grandma's place and picked her up. We me
t up with my aunt and uncle and they brought us to this place on top of a hill where we could see all of KL. I think it was on the way to Hulu Langat and Genting but we went through Ampang. The place was called "Lookout Point" and they served Western food. I had black pepper steak and it was awesome! ; ) And the view was even more awesome!

Sunset over KL.

There are light rays emitting from KLCC. LOL.

Proud to be Malaysian now?

Why on earth am I squinting? But anyway, <3.>Certified brat and cake.

It was Oreo Cheese.

We're family. =)

Went home not long after that. Guess what? Our dinner was on the house! =D Apparently, my uncle was in good terms with the restaurant supplier and the supplier paid for our dinner! Amazing eh. Lol.

Going to the Pavillion tomorrow! Yippeee.

It was rather strange when my brother walked into my room just a few minutes ago saying, "Want to stop world hunger? Let me show you where to get free rice."

As always, my first reactions when talking to him are like.. "What the hell?" But I watched as he typed in this URL into my Firefox.

http://www.freerice.com

And I was rather surprised that my brother could introduce such a website. Apparently, the website will ask you for the meanings of some words and for each meaning that you get right, they'll donate 20 grains of rice throughout the United Nations to end world hunger.

Come on, I know all of you have more than enough time to sit down and answer a few questions.
; )

Do your part, improve your vocabulary! =D

She breezes through life,
And all she has to say,
Is that life seems to be so long,
But there doesn't seem to be enough hours in a day.

She thinks back on all of the times,
That she laughed with old friends,
But now all she can think of,
Is how their friendships never lasted till the end.

She sits at home quietly,
Wondering and watching the outside world,
Envious of everyone else is she,
For the freedom they have that should have been hers too.

She knows life must be appreciated,
For not many are like her,
She knows God gave her life,
And challenges should never be a bother.

Yet, she is confused,
She wants to run away,
She doesn't know what she's doing wrong,
Because she's just doing things her way.

She wants to grow up,
Although she's just a kid at heart,
In the end, she'll be free,
And she'll no longer be torn apart.

Till then, she hides in the dark, hoping for a miracle,
She knows God is listening,
But He's telling her "Patience!",
As long as she keeps her faith in Him,

It is but freedom that comes at last.

Whoa, I actually can't believe this. That guy from Dell is a pure genius. He troubleshooted with me and my sister over the phone, and voila! My connection is fixed! Azri, that's his name. The first guy I troubleshooted with was Travis and he just told me to reformat my computer. Stupid Travis. Azri's gonna get promoted and you're gonna be stuck as technical servicer. LOL.

So, alright, over the pass few days, what happened? Alright, on Monday, Mum, Ken Xhen and I went to town to search for computer games and just walk about. Went to this building called S & M and suddenly my brother sees tamagotchi! *evil laughter* I've been wanting one for quite some time now. Okay, I know not all of you know what a tamagotchi is.

Introducing to you, May!
She's even bigger now btw. This was taken a few days back.

Okay, so basically tamagotchi is a cyber pet. Lol. So, I get to feed May, wash up after she poos, play games with her, give her medication if she falls sick, off the lights when she falls asleep, and make her read books. It is currently already 4:41 AM in tamagotchi world. XD

(She was only 18 bucks! I mean, the ones in Toys R Us were like what? 69.90?!)

After that, we went over to Central Market where I borrowed Dan Brown's Deception Point. To the point where I've read it, it's been really exciting and I suggest all of you people out there who have really nothing else to do to go and borrow or buy it. ; )

Later that night, we went all the way to Awana in Genting Highlands just for a buffet dinner. =.=" Was having a throbbing headache and I had to survive the entire car trip up the winding roads. I'm alive! =D After dinner, we went to a sort-of-bar and ordered some funny fruit juices. Mine was called Awana Special. Consisting of pineapple and orange juice and coconut cream. Funny mixture I know, but surprisingly good. I wanted cocktail and tequilla but parents said no. ; (

I like this. This was on a rock by the pond in the Awana gardens.
Haha.

And so, the sister smiles sweetly and the brother smiles geekily.
(Gosh, he'd kill me if he sees this.)

Awana Special's very own promoter. =D

That's basically everything. =.=" Went home after that. Thank God the headache pretty much went away by then.

Scratched.

Exasperation! My connection has been crappy for days now. Only once in a while does it "allow" me to go online. Right now is one of those sacred times. =s Geeeezz.

Over the past few days since I've last blogged, I've become hooked onto Counter Strike. ; )
And I prefer being on the terrorist side. *evil laughter* I have no idea why. And usually I use SMGs or more easily known as mini machine guns. Headshots kill the opposition with a single bullet. Cool eh?

No, I am not weird for liking Counter Strike. So what if I'm a girl? I like shooting. I like action.

Watched Hitman last Thursday at Leisure Mall. What was his name again? The hitman himself? Timothy Olyphant. Hahah, from some angles he's like whoaaa, way hot but from some other angles, he just looks plain cold and evil. Lol. See? I like guns and action.

Don't miss your chance to catch Hitman. XD
I'm bored.

Wanted to blog about this for some time. But I'm only getting around to do it now. Since last.. Sunday, if I'm not mistaken. Yes, steamboat for dinner near my place! Lol. Okay, so there's this grocery shop next to the restaurant and it had these you know.. those vending machines with small toys for little kids? You put in the coins and this plastic ball container comes out? Yeah. So there was one with this description saying that it contains "magic crystals" that would grow and multiply once you put them into water.

For some reason, I was attracted to it. LOL.

So, my brother and I approached the machine and got our eldest sister (who happens to be 21 years old) to change a buck for two 50 cents. Ken Xhen was actually embarrassed to approach the machine saying that it was only for little kids. So, my sister and I wearily approached the machine, put in the coin, and VOILA! Magic crystals!

Okay, I know I'm kiddy. Hmph.

And off we skipped back home, filled two plastic containers with water, and inserted the small coloured crystals that were no bigger than this full stop --> .

45 minutes after insertion.
They look fuzzy. XD

After 2 hours..
Witness the growth! *squeals with excitement*

5 hours after insertion.
Look, they're cute!! And they're getting bigger!

The next morning at 9 am!
Aren't they just soooo pretty?

And the best part is that they'll keep growing and multiplying, growing and multiplying! And they're like.. jelly-like crystal balls and they're soooooo nice to play with! Lol. Okay, I am being jakun.

Moral of the story :
It pays to be kiddy sometimes. XD

After sooooooooooo long, I finally went out on an outing! Location : Mid Valley. People : Hon Herng, Mizran, Yik Fei, Yi Rong, Faisal, Yish, Jon, Chan, and me. Note : Chan and I were the only girls.

So Chan and I reached around 11.45 am after she and her mum picked me up from my place. Very grateful, Chan. Very. =) Then we went for lunch at the food junction. Oh shoot, I just realised I forgot to take a picture of my carbonara! Daaaaang. Okay, forget it. =s Chan and I planned to go for Kenny Rogers but since the guys exclaimed, "waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!" as though Kenny Rogers was as expensive as dining at a Shangri La Hotel, we ended up in the food junction.

Our movie was at 1 pm. "Balls of Fury". It was about ping pong. Okay, I know it sounds lame, but it was actually nice! And you could laugh on and on at the silly acts. And there are cute gay guys. ; ) And it's not like I fancy gay guys or anything, but when you watch it, you'll see what I mean. Haha.

We're girls. We were born to camwhore! =D

Okay, so the movie ended. We walked out in fits of laughter. And we all agreed on bowling! Wheeeee. It was 10 bucks for 10 games (meaning 10 bowls). Meaning one buck for 2 bowls. Gee, come to think
of it, it IS kinda expensive. Whoopsie. >.<>s. Thanks, Hon Herng, although we DID insist we pay you back. So, we bowled. HAHA, Chan and I suck! Okay, but I beat Chan! Sorrreeee Chan, I don't mean anything by this. ;p

Eh, Chan and I were aware that we suck and that we embarrassed ourselves. So, don't be mean. Aaaaand, obviously, the only two girls got the lowest scores in our alley. ;(
And yes, Yi Rong won. You can stop denying you're a pro now, Yi Rong. You too, Ho
n Herng. And the both of you can stop bickering about how the other is a pro and that you're not yourself. Seriously, you guys need an ego boost or what?

The scores. Didn't manage to get the final ones on film though.
Man, I lost to Yik Fei by
that little!

Ah yes, the bowling alley was pretty. It looked like a disco!

Oh, this is seriously bizzare!
Unintentionally taken using my camera's night mode.
Whoever holding the camera must have shook.
But I like the effect.

Oh, same bizzare-ness! Look at Faisal and Yish's faces!
Bad camera person. =p

Then, Chan said her mum was coming so we returned our shoes and said bye. Thanks Yi Rong for the cute souvenirs from Aussie. Chan and I went downstairs to get her maid the earrings she said she owes her maid. And suddenly out of nowhere, Hon Herng asks us to meet him and Yi Rong downstairs at Mc D's. Fine. We go there. And we get ice-cream, courtesy of Channie. Then, we get the earrings while Yi Rong and Hon Herng watched us. Which WAS pretty funny.

And then came the mac 'n' cheese! .Oh.my.gosh. Kenny's! At last!
Yes, I am aware that Chan and I can eat a lot. Bleh, don't comment. =D

Could you please say heaven?

Oh yes, indulgence. X)

I didn't say it was heaven for nothing. ;p

This, I love.
And yes, her, I love.

Candid my foot, Chan. XD

Then, Chan's mum came. And we went home. Chan got a new puppy! Her dad named it Amber and I'm expecting to see pictures soon Chaaann.

And yeah, thanks guys for the great outing today.
And Chan and I have concluded that you guys aren't such a bad bunch after all.
XP
