Natal and Janeiro

I went to visit Mom for Christmas and the only picture I got was when we drove to the AZ state line just to say I drove the whole state of Utah. 

Also visited the Park family and these two yayhoos!

My roommates and I were in charge of the ward Christmas party and we did a night in Bethlehem and it turned out really well!  Pretty cool!

I also crocheted this awesome beard for a white elephant gift!  Turned out pretty cool!

Dolly and Travis and I went to watch Saving Mr Banks.  It was a lot of fun.  I love those two!

I made this beard too for the Manzanita white elephant party and it turned out AWESOME!

LauriAnn sent me a gift card for Christmas and I bought this tote with it, which is perfect for all my earring things!  Thanks LauriAnn!

Before school started Luke, Leslie and the guy who was pursuing her went bowling.  It was a lot of fun!

Then Tia has a birthday and Nicole made her this super cool cake where we used food markers to sign it!

Odds and Ends

We helped Dolly make sucker spiders for Connor’s class!  They turned out very cute

This year I invited my whole cohort over for a fancy Thanksgiving dinner at my house, I even made the turkey!

I didn’t get many pictures, but we ate and laughed and had a very good time!

Brian and Melissa are amazing!  Every year they open up their house to us for Thanksgiving and they do an amazing job!

So if you didn’t know, I love VINTAGE!  So this is what I would like to look like everyday!  (I don’t though!)

While I was still in town I went with the Park family to find a Christmas tree.

It was cold, but beautiful!

Later that day we went down to the Nephi City Light Parade!  It was a lot of fun!

The GREAT ISU Ambush

So every year ISU hosts a 5K ambush race involving scaling walls, crawling through small spaces, swimming through mud pits, sliding down giant slip and slides and several other very ambush-like things. So we felt just crazy enough to do it! :)

But first we had to make shirts, which we did at dinner one night… with a live band entertaining us! :)

Apparently long legs are no friends to these tubes.  Everyone else whipped through here, but it took me forever! :)

To end though, we had to swim through a mud pit!  Surprisingly fun! :)
