of flu bug, flew off

My throat was dry and painful when I woke up yesterday. The sneezes came and the nose is running a bit now...

On Tuesday training, we were told to receive a pass from the shooter's at our highest point and will be nudged with the punching bag upon jumping. Mick was the one executing the pushes initially but my coach decided to do it as the former had no strength in her push. I was the last in line to get pushed.. Saw the other 2 pushed and thought it was fine...So my turn came...

I ran and jumped...the nudge came while I was in the air..

ME: Oh nooo...no control of my body (talking to myself)

As I fell, I rolled on the floor, scraped my elbow and laughed. HOW DID I EVEN FALL??

My coach was quite apologetic but the 6 of us laughed non stop.

Before that, I was the ball magnet of the day, with the balls kept bouncing off my head...

of parrrttaaayyy, friends and peeve

Finally went to Butter Factory to parrtttaaayyyy. The last time I partied was new year's eve. GOsh, nearly half a year.. well..We still prefer the previous one we went..So hopefully it will be opened soon.

Met up with the buddies hoagies for the 4th week in a row. Well done folks.. We spent 3 hours talking again! What great stamina. 3 of us will be heading to batam during the long weekend next week and guess what, apparently there's nothing much for us to do there.. So, I guess... We will be talking and talking for the 3 days' stay.

Sometimes I wish that Singapore is like an ang moh country.You have to stay on your own when you hit 18. Too bad, SG has so little houses.

of Project PELP, A DIV Semis, friends and MSN

My classmates and I had embarked on Project PELP, which is a project on refining lesson plans and coming out with the best activities to teach the various games. We named ourselves the 3 stripes as there are 3 of us and we happened to be in adidas top yesterday. Went RP to discuss our project and we found that the institution is such a cosy and IT savvy place to discuss our project. With so many powerpoints, and free Internet access, why not? After which we watched A div semi finals. I wanted to support my alma mater lar..And I am glad that I watched them won the semis against hot favourites RJC and finally they got into top 2 after 2 years.

Met my Buddies Hoagies (okay, this is really cheesy because my friends all had names for that particular group. This name was chosen because we met up at this cafe and found it apt) and my best pal's boyfriend joined in. My bud was like eh, you girls better be as razy as possible so he knows what kind of people we are..and we did. He blended in nicely=)

Was supposed to join them for a drink, but I rejected as I had to umpire this morning.. Went home and msn-ed my 3 stripes.

They asked me to draw some stuff, before I decided on to bid them farewell for sleep @ 12 am.

of ip man 2 and a very tiring training

Last night's training reminded of the chorus of this song by Paul Oakenfold, Starry Eyed Surprise..

We only had 6 people for training and it may kind of continue this way for the next month. Alot of runs, only 2 shooters...Had this drill that only consisted 3 of us. 1 thrower 2 workers. When it's the thrower's turn to do, someone had to do with her for extra set. My dear friend Mick took the ball and decided to be the thrower. Okay lar, I should do more since i)it is an attacking drill ii) mick is a GK iii) I will improve. Man, it was dead tiring. Later on we had a shooter drill and I was made to repeat a few times of hard runs to help my mid court to learn how to place the ball.. Wow..Tired.

During the breaks we had, we checked on each other was it just individuals or the whole lot of us were really shagged. Turned out the latter was the one. *PHEW* Those on hands program for weights were feeling boo last night. Aching arms, aching trapezius,aching latissimus dorsi...aching upper body! I am still feeling it now...

Watched ip man 2 with friends yesterday, mm...the fightings were good. However I thought ip man 1 was better?It further reinforced the pride of Chinese, was thinking maybe ip man 1 had more funny scenes...

Will be meeting my classmates later for a project and to watch A div netball later!!

of improved fitness

Had fitness test last night. I am at my ideal weight (for performance of course) and had to show that the weight that I am gaining is from muscle.

Indeed...

My vertical jump improved by an amzaing 4 cm.
Agility run improved by 0.02 sec.
5 m improved by 0.07s and 10 m i forgot what exact value it is.
Beep test improved by 6 shuttles and it was my best result.

Come on...Just hope I am not at the peak now

Had to go back NIE for a CME lecture and it was quite interesting. At least I didn't fall asleep. Good to see my classmates once again=)

Ling jio-ed us to watch Pathman's game (club level), I am amazed by the crowd that turned out for the game. People of all ages, mainly uncles though. How nice to have such kind of spectatorship although it's just at a club level? Let's hope our game will have this kind of spectators too.

Watching Ip Man 2 tomorrow=))
