Our Utah Bucket List

Before we moved, we wanted to go to all of our favorite places one last time.  So we made a bucket list and tried to squeeze as much as we could into those last few weeks in Utah.  Of course, we needed to visit Bree's condo to say goodbye to Sadie and the rickety old playground the kids loved so much.
We went to the Scera, our favorite outdoor theater, to watch a production of Mary Poppins!
We walked around the grounds of the beautiful Provo Temple.
We hung out at the Riverwoods and visited our favorite toy store, Blickenstaff's.

We ate at our favorite Mexican restaurants...
And Bryan's favorite, Buffalo Wild Wings!
We even got to enjoy some Waffle Love!
Yum!

We hung out in Lehi with our old neighbors and friends.
We met up with more Lehi friends at the Curiosity Museum.
We got to make some last good memories with our favorite Springville friends as well.
These guys are the cutest!
And I spent time with good friends of my own.
Ari and I even squeezed some time in to see the Parade of Homes.
After living in Utah for so long, we had a pretty long list of favorite places and people!  We weren't able to do everything, but that's why we were so grateful to know we'd be back plenty of times to visit.  If that weren't the case, it would have been so much harder to leave everything and everyone behind.  We knew it was more of a "See you later!" or "We'll be back!" rather than a real goodbye...

Matthew's Baptism - June 20, 2015

Since Matthew turned 8 so soon before we moved, we got special permission to have him baptized in Utah at the end of June so we could do it with family and friends.  It was such a beautiful, special day!  We were super proud of his decision to be baptized and he was the most handsome little eight year old.  Just look at that face!
All dressed in white and ready to go!
Mom and Dad were in town, and we had Grandma Willes, Bree and Heather's family, along with Jose and Julia and Annalece and the girls (Javi was on a work trip).  Jana and her family were there also, as well as different ward leaders.  We lucked out getting to have our own family service once again!  Mom and Dad (Grandma and Grandpa) gave wonderful talks, David performed the baptism and confirmation, the kids all sang "When I am Baptized," and I think I bore my testimony towards the end.
Because it was just us, we had plenty of time for lots of family pics!
The Pilkingtons are the closest thing we had to family there in Springville!
We had a picnic just outside the Stake Center, which made for even more good photo ops!  It was a wonderful afternoon, spent with the people we love.
