Week 3 Australia 2012

I'm finally getting around to posting our last week in Brisbane.  We drove about an hour north to the Sunshine Coast to a place called Carramundi Lake.  It's a lake right off the ocean!  First we ate lunch at the local fish and chips shop.  Love the fresh fish and chips!

 This is a widescreen picture of the lake and the ocean and how close they are to each other.  We literally hopped over a sand dune and were at the ocean!

The next night Grandma Barbara watched Jax for us so we could go to the late night movies.

Of course our week would not be complete without one final family golf tournament.  It rained the entire time.

Almost as sad as your flight being delayed for hours and then cancelled!

So they fed us dinner........

The next morning we caught a direct flight from Brisbane to LAX on V Australia. After a 14 hr flight to LAX, layover for 3 hours, 1.5 hr flight to PHX and shuttle home, it felt so good to sleep in our own bed.  Thanks to Kiersten, Heath and Jax for allowing us in your home and making us feel so welcome. Its a vacation we will never forget.  I will miss my mornings with Jax :)
