Day in Salt Lake City

We spent today in Salt Lake City visiting sites. We started with Temple Square. They have beautiful nativities all over the campus.

We went into the North Visitors Center to see all the paintings and enjoy the Christus room. There is such a spirit there.

This is outside the front doors of the Salt Lake Temple.

We met up with Aunt Linda and got some great pictures with her.

We went to the top of the Church Office Building to get a birds eye view of the city.

And we had to go to Deseret Book!

On to the lights at Temple Square after dark. So Beautiful!

The Assembly Hall looks like a Gingerbread house!

The Tabernacle all decorated.

Let the Skiing (and Snowboarding) Begin!

The night before skiing starts, we are in our hotel at Park City winding down and having dinner.
I've had lot of opportunity to spend time with my grandsons, singing and playing games.

A rare moment with my grandson Thurston. He doesn't cuddle with me often.

Getting ready to go hot tubbing in the snow!

Ahhhhhhh..........

Kids playroom at the hotel.

Kim getting ready to go out snowboarding.

It was FREEZING! I had to cover every inch of skin or get frostbite!

David on the slopes having a great time skiing!

Watching the First Presidency's Christmas Devotional.
from our hotel room.

We've had such a great time enjoying Park City together.

Atticus wearing Grandpa's snow boots.

The best part is we've been on the slopes for 2 days now with no injuries!!!!!!

2nd Annual Park City Trip 2011: Getting There

We decided to take 2 days to get to Park City this time. Traveling with a 2 and 3 year old helped us make the decision.

Stopping at Wendy's for a break.

Such a long trip!

Thurston had a seat by himself in the back of the Tahoe. He was soooo good!

Just outside of Page on day 2, we came upon a rollover accident during a snow flurry. We called the paramedics via our OnStar. Our cell phones didn't have any reception.

Bored...

The couple were on their way to Las Vegas from Page and rolled their truck.
Interestingly enough, this couple recognized us from a stop at a Circle K on our way out of town!

Entertaining the kids :)

Ethan drove during the worst part of the snow storm and did a great job getting us here safely!
