Here are some pictures of Lindsay's family while visiting our home. Don't forget to watch the video at the end of Tristan's 2nd Birthday party held during Ivy's blessing Luncheon.

Reflections of a Nurse
I'm coming up on my 26th anniversary of being a nurse and have been thinking about the privilege it has been to be involved in so many peoples lives over the years. I have seen so much tragedy and heartache and have seen so much triumph, hope and miracle at the same time. I have written my memoirs of my nursing career (which I hope to publish some day) but here are a few of the highs and lows:
- Graduating first in my LPN class and pregnant with my third child
- Being told in my first job (urgent care) that maybe I wasn't cut out to be a nurse
- Hired as the first LPN in the ER at University Medical Center
- Graduating 2nd in my RN class with 4 children under the age of 10
- Hired as the first new grad RN in the ER at University Medical Center
- Working nights so I could be at home with my kids
- Trauma, trauma, trauma
- Caring for Celebrities including Gary Coleman and Sharon Stone
- Flight nursing in Mexico, California, New Mexico, Texas and Arizona
- ER Director twice
- Certified Emergency, Flight and and now Radiology Nurse
- And I still have another 15 years to work!!

Happy Easter
We did our Easter festivities on Saturday so we could spend time together and not be rushed. Take time to watch the video at the end of Ava crawling!
Lucy with Ivy, Lindsay with Ava. Beautiful sisters and cousins!
Elise was GLUED to me. This is the child that would have nothing to do with me for the first year! Don't you love that face :)
Lillian organizing the ranks and pulling them around in the wagon
Ethan, Elsie and Anders were happy to be ordered around
Lucy set a table up outside to decorate cupcakes and easter eggs
Grandma helping decorate cupcakes
Anders finished product
Elsie looked so cute peeking her head over the table and licking the frosting.
Tristan eating his cupcake before it got frosted, he even ate some paper!
Elsie was cracking us up!
Ethan showing off his cupcake
Grandpa with the grandkids
Aren't they handsome boys!
Grandpa with oldest grand daughter, Lillian
Elsie with her famous smirk.
