other than wrting bout my china trip, i haven blog anything else. haha! and what's worst? i haven even finish writing bout my china trip though i'm back for like almost 1 month le. nvm! i shall take my time! haha! and many other things i haven blog about!! Kbox session with china OUAP peeps, Drama camp, Og chalet countdown parties etc. so many! see how it goes. ya.
sch's starting tml anyway, like the past holidays, i haven been able to finish my holiday homework and it also reach a state i dun even bother to do le. haha! so of course, lots of undone homework.. LOTS ok? haha! good luck to me tml!

At chengdu airport, we prepared to check in for our flight. it was quite late when we reached the airport, thus we had to rush like mad.
Flight CA4201 to Xi'an
haha! we boarded the plane like only a few minutes b4 the flight. ya. this time round, i gt window seat again and i did not change my place. 1hr+. beside christofle like the first flight, just that i change my seat during the first flight. Fu lao shi was sitting next to christofle. chatted abit and then reach liao cause the flight only 1 hour 10 min. just before the plane landed, we started putting on face moisturizer, hand moisturizer, coats and also lip balm to prepare ourselves for the dry and cold weather. both of us even went to the extent of putting on gloves even before we get down the plane. Yes. and then we reached Xi'an.
Xi'an Airport
it was real cold there, like 6°c, so our preparation did help after all ya? went to get our baggages and then was well-received by the people there. walked to the coach and on the way there, noticed bazhang's luggage. look like those used for putting corpse when people are murdered in movies. joked that he killed someone. haha! after that boarded the coach, and off to hotel. on the way to hotel, was introduced to liu lao shi (qing hua ke ji yuan coordinator) and xiao meng jiejie (tour guide), they are super nice peeps i must say! friendly and caring! =D
reached the hotel, checked out our own rooms, checked out other people's room. WAH LAU! nt fair.. my room super small compared to others la! 1 small window, no wardrobe! !!! worst!! corner unit, 90° left is the teacher's room. talk abit only also say we noisy.. -.-" so most of the nites qimei and i will be at other people's room till bedtime. haha! enough complaining bout the room. 6o'clock, we need to go down to the meeting room of the hotel for the welcoming ceremony. waited for a while, mr koh came in, chatted with the chinese OUAP people first. talked bout how to be successful and all. waited for the econs group too. after bout 20 to 30 min they reached. and the ceremony started. speeches, signing of contracts and then end of ceremony. haha! no pictures for that cause no one i knew took pictures? ya. nth much also la. just signing of contract and speeches.
after the ceremony, went for our dinner. our group sat together again. okok, our group sat together for ALL MEALS. yup.. the food was served and our group did a yum seng. haha! i think we had super long breath. after our yum seng, group C followed and did gan bei! haha~ like mad.. after that eat abit, yum seng again.. eat again then mr koh join our table and we did our yum seng with him! haha! so its like we yum seng dunno how many times? haha! okok.. the food was ok la.. but we could not finish it.. so we began to play zhong ji mi ma, and then, we had the birth of the capsicum brothers. haha! then after our meal, we went upstairs, put on coats, get money, and went shopping again! haha! nth special on the streets and in the shopping mall.. so no pictures again! lol! the CDs there really super cheap. ok la.. not only CDs, every other things also cheap. but first nite there only, so we din really buy alot of things, just some daily nesscessities, supper for our next few days. suppose to be back at the hotel at 10pm, so we went back around 9+ after buying our things. reached hotel, took a bath, then went to hoho's room for supper. the 4 of us ate cup noodles, after that 12+ went back to room.. fell asleep at 1+! end of day 2!
Day 3.
woke up in the morning, had breakfast, then headed to 'Xi Bei Da Xue' its a university in Xi'an. quite famous i think. went there for our very first lesson of the OUAP trip.

the lesson was conducted by Professor Yang Xi Yi. old man around the age of 50+ i think. he taught us on the history of Qin Shi Huang and also the Han dynasty. for 1.5 hours, he talked and scribbled on the black board during the lesson. we could understand the lesson well i think, cause he speaks really SLOWLY. many dozed off i think. sat first row, so can't sleep. the lesson quite interesting la. was dilligently copying notes for the first half. 2nd half, din really copy alot of notes liao, since so many people also din copy. haha! ya.. after the lesson, had group photo-taking, then went for lunch at a canteen in the university. the meal was served in buffet style, the food was ok la. but dun seem very appealing to me, so i took abit loh. finish lunching, then we toured around the university, saw many table tennis tables courts etc. people playing sports. just some random people in the sch also play till so well la! no wonder they gt such a large pool of talents. walked around and there is a statue of kong2 zi3.
this is the statue of kong zi. kong zi is well known for his thinking i think. see that guy studying beside the statue? so funny la, all of us think that he must have thought that studying beside kong zi will help him ace everything. haha! ok people, wanna score, study beside kongzi. i think it will work. haha! if u want, u can print this picture and worship it before any exams ya? =D i do pray to kong zi before major exams too!

Beloved Group B at Xi Bei Da Xue
took whole group photo, then after that saw this really cute little toddler somewhere near the entrance of the university.
see.. very cute rite? omg, hoho.. u lose liao.. dun sad.. u are still cute! LOL!! after leaving Xi Bei Da Xue, we went to a museum called 'Shan Xi Li Shi Bo Wu Guan '. initially quite ok la.. the museum had super random things, all on history of different tribes etc. listen to xiao meng jiejie, but it gt very boring soon and qimei, zhenhui, siangmeng and me ran away. ok la.. teacher say can one. haha. teachers themselves also nt listening la! lol.. instead of listening to xiaomeng, we chatted bout our own stuffs then after that went to walk around the museum. took some pictures and then went to the cafe downstairs to slack. meeting time was supposed o be 5pm. we arrived on time only to found out that quite a few of them nt there yet. they are still looking at the exhibits and listening to the talks from xiaomeng. SM went upstairs to find them. after a while, they came down and then we went back to hotel for our dinner.
Day 4.
after having our breakfast, we went to 'Jiao Da Er Fu Zhong' for our lesson. on that day, we learnt about Zhong1 Guo2 Feng1 Jian4 She4 Hui4 Ding3 Sheng4 Shi2 Qi1. learnt bout people like Wu3 Zhe2 Tian, Tang2 Tai4 Zhong1. the emperors of this 2 dynasties. learnt bout that contributions to the country and all. the lesson that day, to me, quite boring la.. haha. the only part that was fantastic was the break. Y? because we were served super delicious KFC egg tarts!! super nice ok?? singapore's KFC dun have la. i think even if have maybe also nt that nice?? no wonder papa tell me that the egg tarts at KFC is super nice even b4 i go. but i think compared to the market price of other egg tarts in Xián, it is considered very expensive ba. cause u dun normally see people from china eating the egg tarts or buying them. after eating the egg tarts, the second part of the lesson seem better le. haha! ya. then we went for lunch in the canteen after the lesson. the food was quite nice, but the serving was too large. i had to ask the chef to cut down the quantity to half. after halving, i still could nt finish the food. LOL. ya. then soon, many of the sch's students came for lunch too. their serving was even much LARGER than us. and most of the girls and finish it. OMG! they eat so much still not fat.. envy siah.. haiyo.. ok la.. think maybe they exercise alot also. maybe go to sch must climb 2 mountains then can reach.
then after lunch, we had to sit in for their lesson. we were split into 2 groups. so my batch went to attend history lesson. i sat beside a girl called yu qian. quite nice and friendly. one year older than us. very pretty girl and also, the teacher there teach really well. though his speed is super fast and we cannot really catch wat he say. nvm la, we nt having exams on wat he is teaching. haha.

after one hour of history lesson was literature. learned something called Deng1 Gao1. and a few poems. the teacher teach super well too. and at moderate pace. but too bad, i not really interested in chinese poems. LOL. like history more. the people in that class is super enthu. the way the students response to the teachers is so different from Singapore. after literature lesson, we had a cultural exchange with the people there. performed for them and they performed for us. their perfrmance was superb. with lots of instruments and singing.. gt piano and violin duet, piano solo, Gu zheng, saxophone etc. and they played super well. felt so bad cause we only sing songs, sing songs, and sing songs. haha! and we prepared super lao ya presents for them. they, on the otherhand, prepared super nice gifts for us. after leaving the sch, we headed to 'Yong Ming Dian' to eat a kind of mian called 'Shao Zi Mian'. on the way there, xiaomeng told us about the story that led to the creation of this noodle. after that, we reached the place.

the food.. erm... was nt very nice la. so we din really eat alot. and econs group gt people birthday, so we celebrated her birthday tgt at the restaurant. and was given some cake. nice. the cake was the best part of the meal. the rest of the food, i seriously gt nth to say. haha.

after dinner, headed back to hotel again. and then had a short lesson taught by Fu Lao Shi. he gave us a short introduction on the formation of republic of China. then its back to usual nite stuffs, bathe, played and went crazy with the people. haha! end of day 4!

hey people! here to update on the china trip le! the updates on the trip will be in parts i suppose? if not the entry will be too long ya? here goes!
Day 1.
we had to arrive at the airport at freaking 5am. went to fetch qimei then went to the airport together with her. i was so confident that hoho they all will be much later than us, ended up they reach on time miraculously and we were like the last to arrive.. its like so paiseh when everyone is waiting for you. lol! but ok la.. we were only 8 to 10 minutes late.. nt like half an hour that kinda late! had some free time, the guys went to the toilet, after that we had a hard time searching for each other. finally, niao came to our rescue!! lol! then qimei hoho niao they all hungry, so went to mac and had breakfast. at that time it was already 6.20+am and we were suppose to meet the people at the boarding gate at 6.30am. so they ate at uber fast speed, so fast i'm shocked! haha. then we chiong to the boarding gate. and waited. regret is that we din take pictures with the nice nice christmas trees and all at the departure area.
boarded the plane, changed place with weihong and sat beside zhenhui. not a bad change cause in front of me are all my groupmates. zhenhui too. haha! but the sad thing is he slept the moment he boarded the plane and i was so bored la! omg! haha.. but alright, at that time we still dun really noe each other, so also dunno what to talk about... then, thru out the 4 -- 5 hours ride, i was entertaining myself by reading some boring magazine on the plane. and also by sleeping for about 1 hour. there was also movie la, but i dunno what is it talking about, some china movie i nv heard b4. the food serve was fish with rice. i thought it was ok, but i think hoho they all thought it sucks. see.. they are so picky! lol. finally, we reached chengdu airport.
before stepping out of the plane, many started applying moisturizers and lip balm. think all gt worried cause the weather is dry. not like singapore la.. so humid.. haha! it was quite cold at chengdu, but bearable. think it was 9°c when we reach there. still alright. nt say very cold. chengdu is very diff from singapore, u dun need to be afraid of the sun, u will nv get sun burn there la! the cloud cover is so thick u cannot even see the sun! haha! ok.. and so, we boarded the coach and headed to our first destination called 'wen shu yuan'.
'Wen Shu Yuan', according to gong1 dao3 (our tour guide in chengdu), is a place where many people will go to if they wanna buy books i think. there are also alot of restaurants there, so our main purpose of going there is actually to settle out lunch. went to the restaurant ( i dunno what's the name) and sat with our group. the owners were very nice hosts, they keep asking if we had enough to eat. the sad thing is, the food kinda... hmm.. sucks?? ok.. cannot like that say, we must learn to appreciate. so.. the food.. hmm.. cannot clique with my tastebuds? haha! ok.. i think everyone felt the same as me la. show u all what we ate.
the food were either too spicy or too oily or beef. my group gt lots of buddhists, so cannot eat beef ya? at that moment, i guess most of us were thinking on how to survive for the next few days if the food remains like this. we left the table of food almost untouched ok? ok la.. maybe we ate bout 10 to 20 percent of the food on the table ya? after that we left the place. on the way back to our coach, took pictures once again.
next, we went to a place called 'Wu Hou Ci'.
'Wu Hou Ci' is a place or rather more like a museum with stone tablets and also to remember peoplel like Liu Bei, Zhuge Liang, Guan Yu, Zhang Fei etc. gong dao did introductions and stories on these famous people and of course, IF U LISTEN, u will find it very interesting ya? walked about the place, took photos again.. then we step out of wu hou ci and went to another place call 'Jin Li'.
'Jin Li' is just directly beside 'Wu Hou Ci' and instead of being museum-like, its more like a shopping area for tourists like us! there are lots of exotic food, sweets we wun get to eat here in singapore there! then we decided to try some of the food there! hoho and i decided to try duck heart and qimei and niao was screaming away la. the duck heart is quite spicy but i can tolerate la. very nice la! dunno why niao and qimei scream till like that.. hoho more adventurous then me, decided to try the duck intestine too, it was so spicy it sent hoho into jumping around! haha! so funny la. could nt remember the price of the duck intestine but the duck heart was price at 1rmb for a stick, 3 pieces on a stick. omg! 3 duck hearts for singapore 20cents! so cheap la! saw bazhang(group leader siufai) there and he said he tried the chou4 tou4 fu4 and almost fainted! haha! lucky we din see it, if not i think i wanna try it too and i will faint on the spot! tried DIY cotton candy, saw some candy sculpture? dunno what is that call. u noe.. those kind of use malt candy to draw picture and wait till the picture harden then u can eat it? another one is to blow the candy into shape. ok la, i suck in describing, show u all the picture =)
see pictures le.. now understand already? haha! yup.. then we walk about.. then ate ate ate.. hoho bought something for his sis and time's up! met the rest and went for dinner. at nite, we had steamboat dinner. very nice meal! much better than that in the afternoon!! all of us were glad, but due to the bad experience earlier on, we keep having different people to test each dish before the rest start eating. haha!
our dinner! looks nice rite? its nice la. the soup base is some balck chicken herbal soup. haha! ate quite alot, then off we went to our hotel! zi wei hotel, located in chunxi road which is the city centre of chengdu. that means beside our hotel, they are all shoppign malls. after putting down our things at the hotel, we went to walk around.. things there are cheap, but not very special, so we did not buy anything.. instead, hoho me qimei and niao decided to go on a mei shi da san tong.. eat till siao.. of course we din eat alot, the food like nt very nice. some are nice though, from a shop call you1 zhi1 liang2 pin3. the yam milkshake is nice!!! wahahaha! we love it man! i din eat the glutinous chicken rice they eat. but they say it was very nice la! haha.. ya.. but i keep picking on the texture of the fishballs there, super different from singapore. haha! china's fishball gt more meat and dun have the boing boing feeling when u chew them.
din take any pictures there cause we din bring our camera along. but its just normal city night life. haha! not bad la.. saw pirated DVDs selling at SGD$1 la! din buy any though.. haha! after that wanted go mac, but dunno why in the end nv.. went back to hotel.. slack.. play.. 1+ back to bed! =) finally! end of DAY 1!!
Day 2.
woke up early in the morning, ate breakfast at the hotel and off we went to....

PANDA RESEARCH CENTRE LEH! that morning was super cold even though we were in chengdu. it was drizzling too, but we cannot feel the rain at all cause the raindrops were simply too fine! haha! very funny la! its like u are wet and u dunno it.
Saw this flowers when we walk in. nice? these flowers are called 'fu2 rong2 hua1'. you noe.. like vanda miss joaquim represent singapore, the 'fu2 rong2 hua1' represents the chengdu city. it is a very special flower that changes colours THRICE a day la! white to pink to red! nice rite? just nice i took the picture at a time when it was a mixture of pale pink to red. haha! after that, we boarded a tramp? a buggey? a ??? i could nt remember the name.. you noe, the vehicle u take to travel around in the zoo.. it was already cold, on that vehicle, it was worst ok? the winds were so strong.. and i went crazy asking the driver to go faster. i think the rest on board wanted to kill me! lol! haha! after that reach the panda nursery, too bad photos weren't allowed. after looking at the toddler pandas for a while, we headed to the enclosures of the other pandas.
2 pandas eating.. nice? gt alot of pictures on pandas, but i guess i will only post this one.. haha! u can see panda on the internet. haha! initially i thought like most other zoos or parks, u get to carry the animal and take a photo with them. like last time in perth, we were given a chance to carry the wombat and take photos with it. in the panda research centre, i think also the same la, but i dunno how much it cost to take a photo with the pandas. however, just to touch it cost u 400rmb ---> SGD$80!!! siao la.. though national treasure also need so expensive meh?? touch the singapore-hongkong mix panda hoyin also dun need to pay leh!! LOL!
see??? so cute rite? dun need to pay leh! haha! see!! its because of this cute pose of hoho that gt him the name of xiong mao didi! haha!! Now, everyone, u can call him hoho holy hoyin 30 gig and XIONG MAO DIDI! =D
this is another kind of panda called 'Red Panda'. unlike the normal pandas u see, these pandas are not endangered. you still can find a large number of red pandas compared to the black white pandas.
After that, due to lack of time as we need to catch a flight, we simply just chiong out of the research centre after watching some documentary of pandas. i din wanna watch it in the theatre cause i wanna look at the souvenirs at the shop outside the theatre, so i din went in, end up qimei hoho and niao also din go in. ps. there were alot of shops selling all the soft toys of pandas, but we din get the chance to go cause we need to chiong to the airport. we settled our lunch in the bus on the way to the airport. the teachers bought macdonalds for us. haha. china's macdonalds also quite nice. haha! reached chengdu airport, and off to Xi'an le!!

the trip was fantastic!! ok, maybe nt the itinery, food, lesson and stuffs, but the company was fantastic!! love my B group lots together with the closer non-B group Peeps like ting-ers, shuai ge and chit mun(dunno how to spell)!! =D lots of happening in the trip together with stories, gossips and stuffs.. 1st issue.. 2nd issue! haha! omg! and balloon finger 2! so many.. BUT! i'm lazy to update for now.. wait till i get enough pictures to churn out a long entry ya? stay tuned! =D

fuhua's open house! went back with carrot and piong.. only to realise choir not performing. chatted saw ernie and chatted with him. after that with mr teo and miss chua too to find out bout the choir's current sitituation. decided to go back and help. waited for ade then went to our FAV CU for you mian! haha! super nice! yumyum! sat there from 3+ to 5+ then headed to JP with piong and ade while carrot left for home. reached JP. walked about, and ade left at 7+ piong and me walked about.. then finally after going to many eating outlets, decided to settle our dinner at delifrance. finally, i ATE MY LONG-WAITED creme brulee!!! YEAH! NICE OK! WAHAHA! reached home bout 10+

met eve and joy for facial at chinatown. recommended by joy. ok la.. quite good but i cannot tahan the massage part.. too pain liao! haha! after that actually wana go manicure with joy while eve left for work.. but decided to save $$ and jioed the guys out for pool. it was super last minute and hoh have to chiong mopping his floor! THANKS ALOT TO HOHO NIAOSEN VICTOR AND MAX! for coming out even though it was such a last minute notice! played pool and photohun.. some terrible things happen.. shan't talked bout it ya? the people should noe! haha! then went to KFC for dinner and once again.. reach home around 10+

met si in the morn and chiong to PS to watch material girls.. after that walked about awhile then i got to go back to jurong.. she wear till super nice and i look like shit.. cause i need to go back to fuhua then PY and carrot will be wearing just a shorts and tee.. if i wear skirt wouldn't it be like? lol! haha! went back to choir.. once again.. chatted with miss chua.. so long nv sing liao.. i can't reach even high D. am i even a sop 1? oh my god! where's my high A and above? haiyo! haha! sang baritone part.. miss lim said she wanna look for us and we are back liao! haha! then chatted with miss lim after choir.. then go home loh~

mama bdae! happy bdae mama! went to PS once again to walk walk.. bought tops and piano scores. after that met daddy.. he sent us home.. then go dinner at JW st 51 there.. eat zhu chao.. then bought tops again.. then went home.. lol..
friday 17/11
went sch for china meeting.. group discussions then after that went to JEC for fun.. hoho bought his gloves and dunno what.. then after that qimei gotta leave for work so niaosen me and hoho went to imm. waited for the rest.. but they din turn up.. after eating.. went daiso.. cannot find the things.. then home fix not open.. then off we go to chevrons. played photo hunt then after that halfway victor arrived. started bowling.. keep having long kang.. then towards the end it gt better and i gt 40+ its good already hoh! consider i gt so many drain.. haha! ok.. just let me console myself! haha! second round was much worst and i think i gt 20 or 30+ only.. this is such sad case.. went to play dart and niaosen say he dunno how to play.. but he did very well la! after that back to bowling again le! haha! 3rd round and last round.. i lost of course! i always lose one la! but I'M VERY HAPPY OK! i broke my record.. i gt 63 leh! dun play play! haha! of of course the rest gt like 90+ 100+ hoho gt damn 130! -.-" he almost passed! lol! very happy with myself today.. haha! gt improvement no? haha! considering the fact that i can longkang for 6 turns straight then get like 3 pins down.. 63 is an improvemen! i dun care! haha! lots of fun with the people once again ya! haha! THX NEL VIC AND HOHO for the guidance in today's bowling! for the teachings!! thx alot !
