6 can you believe it!

Can you believe she is a big 6 year old now!! She had a busy day as always. Thanks to all the awesome aunties and grandma for calling in the morning before the day got so buys. We went to an awesome parade. It was really long but very fun. We did a BBQ, which included cupcakes! She got to take a nap with her namesake. We did presents. Then got to watch fireworks from the lake on grandpa's boat. What a fun day for our little sparkler!!

Lost a tree

While we were away at landon's grooms dinner we got several calls from nice neighbors and ward members letting us know there was a huge storm and one of our trees in the back yard fell down. It was quite a site to come home to. Our neighbors pine tree fell on our tree and our tree fell on the back neighbors fences. Took quite a lot of work getting it down. We have such wonderful neighbors who helped us. Also a friend of phils from work. Now we just need to get the stump out. So sad to lose a tree but glad it wasn't my favorite one in the front.

Saturday Nights

I don't know about you but Saturday nights i am inclined to not want to cook much. After going to the grocery store and knowing i still had to go home and put it all away i wasn't looking forward to making dinner so i had an idea to do cold skewers. My idea was sort of like a lunchable with veggies on a stick. So we cubed up cheese got some olives, cucumbers, red peppers, cherry tomatoes, strawberries, deli ham, pickles and whatever else we could fit on a stick and sat and made about a dozen of those for dinner to take down to the basement for a dinner and movie night. It was a lot of fun! We already have Sunday night designated as brinner night (breakfast for dinner), we had so much fun we may designate Saturday night appetizer night.

The kids all got new Sunday outfits for Easter and let me tell you they were some good looking kids! Hey but i'm not bias or anything!

Easter fun!

The kids and I had a great time on Easter just being silly. What a great day at church reflecting on our savior and spending time with the family.

Lately!

Maggie is full of smiles lately. She is such a joy to have in our family. She is almost always happy. It is rare to hear a sad sound come from her and she has the biggest smile that brightens our day. Her brother and sister like her a lot. The like to do tummy time with her and try to teach her how to roll!
