Wow...um...time for some updating, don't ya think? June to August
In the beginning of June, Blake turned 11. Stephanie was getting started into making fancy cakes, so she took Blake's request and made him a basketball cake. It turned out cool and was yummy.

For presents, he got Tech Deck ramps and a carrying/display case for all his boards. Also, a fun, squishy (yucky, sticky) ball and, his favorite...money.

Nana pitched in with Michael and I to get Blake a basketball hoop, but have yet to get a concrete pad poured and the hoop up. Poopy parents.

In mid-June, before Blake went to Mexico, my Dad came to visit for a couple days. One day, we all went to the family pond so Blake and Dad could catch a trout or two for dinner, but had no luck. Finally, when Blake had had enough boredom, Dad was just about to say '5 more minutes and we'll go', something pulled HARD. We had been standing on a little bridge, so the fight was ON and it took 10 minutes to pull in this MASSIVE CATFISH. It was hilarious and exhilarating. My Aunt Bonnie came down for dinner that night and Dad made us several dishes that he enjoys in Singapore (of course, we also ate catfish). Dad was able to go with Blake to a day of Cub Scout Day Camp and then he had to fly away. It was a really great visit. We wish he could have stayed longer and also that we'd taken more pictures!

At the end of June, I took Blake to Vancouver so he could fly away to a fun summer in Mexico and Southern CA. The Heilmann's were moving the FL the same day, so the night before everyone left, Mom took us all to Chuck E. Cheese. Some hilarious times there.

Last minute moving was going on in the living room before we could all sleep. Tim & Livvy managed to get almost all of this in their car with room to breathe. The rest of their stuff was already on it's way in a moving carton thingy. Lynette was justifiably tired after so much fun and pizza...ready to have that baby!!

July...we puppy-sat our chiropractor's dog, Frank. He was about 8 mo-old and such a bundle of energy! He had Blake's wild-child puppy, Mac, worn out, too! Then, because Mac was so matted, I decided to shave him down completely...he looked so dumb, but so much easier to start with a fresh brushing slate. Especially when your puppy is such a spaz.

In August, we drove to Vancouver to pick up Blake after his trip, and we got to meet our newest niece...Norah Lynn Ogden. She is so wonderful...I held her, then Michael held her, then I made Blake hold her, then Nana stole a turn, then I held her again, then I videoed her and then Michael and Blake dragged me away, kicking and screaming...hehehe.
