Ben's Special Day!

Ben and his friends, Dallin Luedtke and Elizabeth Muir were baptized at the Stake Center on July 2, 2011. They were all so cute and excited!

Ben asked his Daddy to baptize him and his Granddad to confirm him. It was so neat to see how happy he was that day. I asked him if he was doing okay before the meeting started and he said his tummy had felt weird all day- he had butterflies and was nervous and excited. I introduced him- something our Stake does during the meeting before the baptism. I usually don't read my remarks, but I had to because I was emotional about it. I mentioned Grandpa Reed and started to cry. I am glad Grandpa and ma Ellison were watching from above.

We had lots of family and friends come share Ben' s special day. They were there for the baptism and then came to our house later for lots of food and visiting. Here is a picture outside of most of the gang and one inside of some of the cousins and friends.

Laura and Joy enjoying some yummy food outside in the yard. Our fun surprise was that Ryan and Lindsey Christofferson were in town on business/ vacation and came to the baptism! It was so fun to have them there. The whole day was special. Ben was ready and happy to be baptized. We were surrounded by family and friends. We ate good food and spent lots of time together- the adults talking and the kids playing. I love having everyone over to celebrate with us. And we are very proud of Benjamin Reed Miller!
