Annie Get Your Gun at MTV

Amber and I have had so much fun for the last few months being in Musical Theatre Village's production of Annie Get Your Gun. We both made new friends, had great fun with old friends and loved playing multiple characters. Amber was either Sarah or Minnie and I was girl 1 or 2, Porter, Lily, Dancer girl, and/or Crowfoot. Here are a few of us in the women's dressing room. Shannon Olsen, me, Erin Harris and Kerry Hedley (our wonderful music director).

We laughed ourselves silly on and off stage- Me (Lily), Alicia Long (Dolly), Julie Collins (Dolly) and Jen Migliaccio (Annie)
Amber in her Minnie costume before hair and make-up. Just wait for the final look....
Ready to go hunt some animals- she even put sticks and branches in her hair each show, then had to brush it out quick to look nice for later scenes.

My favorite costume as Lily- I only got to wear it for a few minutes each show! You can't see the black cowboy boots I have on, but they were rockin' (a generous loan from Joy).
Amber all cleaned up for later in the show.
We had so much fun! Thanks to all those who came to see us! I love being on stage and I love sharing the stage with my beautiful, talented daughter!

Happy 40th Birthday!
I was not looking too forward to this birthday- it seems old since I really still feel about 25- or sometimes 16! Anyway, Jen Izu, Janet and Laura threw me a fun party. The party plans morphed over the course of many weeks due to people being out or in town, etc. We ended up at Janet's for an open house and had a really nice time. Thanks to all my friends and family!
Jen and Clark Izu- Jen made awesome cupcakes a la Martha Stewart, other yummy treats and a beautiful flower arrangement!
Joy Hall and me- Daniel, Jill and Marilee kept freaking out at how much Joy and I are alike when we talk- funny!
My church twin- Krissy Mortensen
Another great friend- tapping, visiting teaching and our girls would move in together if they could- Michele Orgill
My fabulous siblings and their spouses- I love all those wacky people!
We looked a bit more subdued when we added the parental units.
Thanks for a great Birthday ya'll!
