So Excited!!!

Grace got to go to her first "friend" birthday party this last Saturday. She was so excited! Her own 3rd birthday was pretty subdued since we all had the flu that week. She did get some presents and I made her a cake. She also got to celebrate with cousin Spencer a few weeks later, but no big party or anything.

This party was for one of the girls in her Primary class and the parents went all out. They had a lady doing face painting. A man making balloon animals. The dad was grilling hot dogs and hamburgers to go with all the food they had laid out. The kids got to decorate their own crowns, play with Play-doh, and play with lots of princess toys. Grace had a great time and didn't want to leave. We actually had to go early before her friend opened presents and ate cake because of stuff the big kids had scheduled, but it was so fun. She was even more thrilled to find out that she got a princess bag of party favors when she left! Being 3 is fun. (The balloon is Belle holding a flower- the flower got in the way of her face for the picture-oops.)
