We threw Connor a Toy Story party this year, it was very appropriate since Toy Story has been his obsession for about a year now. Connor has been anticipating his birthday party for a good month now, asking us every day when he was going
to have his Toy Story party.
Connor's birthday was Saturday the 28
th, it was a lot of fun to have his party on his actual birthday which made it even more special. Connor's day started with the surprise of Grammy and Uncle Wade at his house (
Grumpa couldn't make it, he had to stay behind and take care of my grandfather who is 92 and under the weather). Connor got a very special birthday
breakfast; birthday cake pancakes with whip cream and sprinkles and birthday cake donut holes!

Connor's only real request for his birthday was to have a Toy Story bounce house which was a HUGE hit with the kids and a bonus for the parents, it helped balance out all the sugar that the kids consumed.
We tried to make the porch festive.
The party favors.
The cookies that took forever to make.
The decorated living room (party central). We had two tables, one decorated for Buzz Lightyear and the other for Woody. We also had a giant Buzz rocket made of cardboard, giant block letters, a chalk a sketch which Papaw helped make, a pin the tail on Bullseye game and a photo booth with character props.

I wanted all the food to be related to Toy Story, we had mini Pizza Planet pizzas, slinky hot dogs, cantaloupe stars, Mr. Potatohead and Hamm cake pops, Rex chocolate bark, Jesse
cowgirl hats and Woody
sheriff badge cookies, Buzz
Lightyear rice
krispy treat rockets, alien
moon pies and Mr.
Potaohead chocolate mustaches and of course the cake.

The Nuse family and Keane & Kenedy Wood modeled for me in the photo booth.

We had a very special visitor stop by the party, Buzz
Lightyear! Connor was so excited, he
hugged Buzz, gave him high fives and touched him to make sure he was real.

Here are some pictures of some of the fun that we had.
Connor giving his best friend from school a hug when he arrived.
Uncle Wade helping Connor with his swinging.
Lucy and Lola drawing on the chalk a sketch.
Connor and Sam having more fun.
This had to be the coolest gift that Connor got, a custom vintage baseball jersey from the Nuse family. They also gave him an awesome baseball bank.
The birthday boy and his cake.
Make a wish!

We had so many friends come to celebrate, we had 17 kids join in the fun. Here are just a few of our guests.
One of my best friends Jen and Makai.
Sam's younger brother William.
Katelyn his buddy from school.
Who is this guy?
Amanda and supermom Sarah who came on her own with three kids.
Allie and Papaw.
Raijitha and Ashalia.
And after the party was over Connor finally decided to play with the photobooth props.

After our big day we took Connor for dinner at a Hibachi restaraunt so he could eat all the steak that he wanted, and boy did he.
Hope you had a great birthday Connor.
