9 Months! Where does the Time Go!
Ok - we had 8 teeth at 8 months and now we have 9 & 10 at 9 months...I really can't believe C is 9 months old...it seems like just the other day I was "suprised" to find out we were pregnant and then even more "suprised" when the doctor said it was a girl! Couldn't ask for anything better. We have been busy in 2009 - can you believe it is already the middle of Feb. (I have to be a better blogger). We had a fun party to celebrate our nanny's (she is my godsend! Manuela) husband becoming a US citizen (they are both from Brazil). We had fun all day getting her house ready for the party and then suprising Wagner as he came home. We also took C to her first Hawks game a couple of weekends ago...she was not really impressed - but seem to like the cheerleaders. We are excited cause we are going to the circus this weekend and then to visit grandma and grandpa and u. rod/a. lynn and the boys in Florida. C is also going to take a trip to see her BFF Morgan in Orlando. We really can't wait!

8 months = 8 teeth
Well it finally happened...the 8th..yes I said 8th tooth popped through...so my big girl has 8 teeth at the young age of 8 months...she is growing up so fast. So much fun to be able to watch her growing..she is standing on everything..we pull ourselves up on the coffee table and up on all the chairs...we are trying to walk....took 2 steps toward me the other night...but I think she was just falling forward. Soon and then C will be all over the place. We are having so much fun!

C Got her first Big Girl Bath!
Well we got our first big girl bath this week...she is getting so big...we bought this duck (aka her new bathtub) - she loves splashing it and now bath time is 30 minutes long (no more watching The Wheel anymore!) Also the "new bathtub" quacks...she just giggles. So fun!

It has been a long time since our last post and the Springfields have been doing a lot. First and foremost C had her first Christmas and well to be honest probably had no idea what was going on.. but she did meet a lot of family and got to smile and charm a lot of people..We went to Birmingham first and then on to sunny Florida. Big 1st happened in Florida..C gave me the best birthday gift and crawled for the first time across the room...it was so neat! And then later that day we celebrated my birthday on the beach where she got to stick her toes in the ocean for the first time. Fun was had by all. She is growin up so fast and I can't believe that we are closer to being one each and every day...how the time flies!

My first visit with Santa
Well it was bound to happen...C met the big man in the red suit last weekend. Grandma and I were shopping and he happened to be at a store we were at so we thought we would see what the reaction would be....well as you can see we are ok...till he touches her and then it was over. Hopefully the "real" encounter with the Big Jolly one will go a little bit better. Also, included a picture of C at the 50 yard line of the Falcons football field at the Georgia Dome...not many almost 6 month olds get to sit there so we thought we would inlcude that in our postings. We also celebrated Grandpa's 66th birthday last week as well. We are getting very sad becuase we are going to have to say goodbye to Super Nanny aka Grandma soon...and we are going to miss her in more ways than one. :(

1st Pumpkin Carving
We went to a halloween parade yesterday and got to see some friends all dressed up in their costumes and get pictures taken on some hay - needless to say from the photo - C was not impressed with hay..but after the parade we went home and carved our pumpkin. C loved the pumpkin guts and I think it turned out pretty nifty! She loves her candy corn pants and bow and thanks to grandma she even has socks that light up. She is having so much fun playing with our indoor pumpkin that lights up - all in all - C LOVES Halloween!

I love my Highchair
Well it is official - C is a big girl now. She got a fancy highchair that keeps everyone entertained!! She is growing like a weed and on September 23 her first tooth broke through! Can't believe it! Just a couple days over 4 months...luckily there was no drama with the tooth...she just kept cruising!

Got my first tooth...and my second!
As summer ends C hit a big milestone...she got her first tooth on September 20. No fanfare - just one day this little white piece in her bottom gums appeared...and then a week later to our suprise another one right next to it appeared. Our 4-month old is getting so big! Luckily she did not keep us up too much with the cutting of these teeth.
C is loving the Auburn Tigers...she watches football every Saturday in her cute Auburn dresses. We think she is saying WAR EAGLE already! We look forward to taking her to Arkansas next weekend to tailgate.
Last night, C went to her first high school football game. Aunt Wendy joined us as we went and watched Whitfield Academy play. It was a great night for football!
