BOY!!!! Can you believe it?! A Slaughter girl is having a boy :)! My dad is overjoyed and won't know what to finally do with a boy! Mike is also over the moon and was shocked as he just knew it would be another girl (which we would also have been delighted to have!). Kate said all along she was going to have a baby brother, except now that she knows what I'm having, she says a baby sister. We got the news a little earlier than expected at my doctor's appt. last week so it came as a total shock to all of us. What fun!
We also had fun going to the beach with my family. We stayed in the same place that we have stayed in years past and it was beautiful as always. Kate loved 'the beach' but not so much the ocean. She tested the waters the first day, but unfortunately some fish came to nibble on us right then and she was outta there! She refused to go again, but did enjoy the sand and the pool. Maybe next year...We took some pictures one night out there too which we have never been able to do before, and they turned out great. I will try to post a few next time. Enjoy these!
