AUGUST, 7 ... marks the day I turned a quarter of a century old.
Nonetheless I still love this date.
3 of my colleagues shares the same birthday as me,
2 of which are from the same department...and my boss' birthday is 1 day after mine.
So, I think it's pretty cool to be born during this time of the year.
There's fireworks too.. thanks to the National Day that falls on the 9th!!!
so it's the long weekend. LOVE IT! LOVE IT! LOVE IT!

August 4, Birthday Celebration starts as early as 4 Aug for me.
Celebrated it with my beloved Everdene.

She treated me to "Brazil Churrascaria". Yums I tell you.
Love the Salad Bar, the meat. oh mans. the chicken tigh, the honey baked ham,
the fish. Craps, should have starved for days before going there mans.
Seriously. hahahaahah....

Everdene did something special for me this year.
She gave me a happy birthday balloon wrapped in a pink wrapper with my fav chips and a strawberry cheesecake from Bakerzin. YUMS! I simply love cheesecake.
Felt so embarrassed when she forced me to take a pic with the balloon and the photo collage she made for me... and I really like the photo collage..ALOT!!!

August, 5 - Suppose to celebrate my birthday with Sooling, Kelly and Karen. Due to unforeseen circumstances, it was postponed. Actually, it's foreseen circumstances. ahahah.. As usual, SL can't make it at the 11th hour due to work. As a result, I spent my 5 Aug in office working OT till nearly 12am!!! Totally crap!!
But who cares, i'm on leave on 6 and 7 aug! I had a birthday treat from my boss today too. Yummy dim sum I had!

August 6 - Woke up early to go to the post office to collect my mail and met my aunt thereafter at Causeway point for a haircut. I took leave just to cut my hair and my hairstylist was on MC!!! Sigh!!!! Sickening mans. So my aunt's hairstylist cut for me instead... and it turned out not that bad after all. Today's haircut was free. A birthday gift from my aunt! Thanks Yiyi. hahaaha.. and it's off to my Crab feast. I had my favourite salted egg crab... and the gullible me believed that the cake was given free by the restaurant. I even thought they had a collaboration with Polar Cakes for this. Sigh...
We had 猫山王 (durian) at Balestier after the crab feast. The durian is simply awesome!!! GOSH!!!!!!I think i live to eat! ahahahahahaha...


August 7 - Had lunch with my brother at Sushi Teh, Holland V and it's off to Changi Airport. Feeling a little emo today. ahahaha... a lot asked why the sudden emo? and it's on my birthday somemore. SL even though something bad happened to me. ahahahah.. coz i switched off my HP during my time at the Airport. The feeling is really great. Spent sometime alone, reading my book at T3. It's something that I have been wanting to do. Being uncontactable and just shut off from the world. Have you ever worked till you just tired of everything? and that you just want to be alone? That's what i felt. I just need to recharge my battery...Alone!

A pleasant surprise as well today... KQ called me from Bahrain to wish me a Happy Birthday. How sweet of him. Was pressurised to speak fast and all coz he called me when i was in the train... and for those who know me, my current HP is totally off. No reception in my office and in trains and almost close to anywhere that is not in the open air. sigh... I know, i need a new HP! Everyone around me have been ^#^^$*&^*&$% me. Can't help it when my plan is long way from due.

August 8 - Many had appointments today so after dinner with some of them at a Vietnam restaurant near PL, Dene and I were off to PS to book our movie tickets. Jack Neo's first "hormedy". So it's a must to watch. In case you're wondering what's a hormedy, it's horror + comedy. A word the papers used to described this movie. The ghost ain't scary though i did cover my eyes at some point. But it's HILARIOUS!!!!!!!!!! I laughed so hard till the contacts in my dry eyes had enough moisture to last me through till i reached home. I think my uncles and aunties will love this since it's so hokkien-fied.

August 9 - Met shihan for lunch in chinatown and guess what? We both were late for our appointment. You know what? Shihan was even later than me. ahahahahahah...but he manage to reach after 40 mins. Okie. shall not blame him coz i'm always the late one. ahahahahahah....... I was off to grandpa's place at 2.30pm. I am so glad i went. Been some time since i visited grandpa and wow wow wow... my niece and newphew came too! My beloved Jordan and Isabelle. I think ah gong was super delighted to see them than me. I saw that HUGE SMILE on his face when he carried the both of them.
I'm all smiles too when i see them. Simply LOVE Babies and Kids!!!!!

August 10 - Ahhhh.. finally home sweet home! Spent my day at home... just doing nothing. After all those outings. I'm tired. Went online and Dai Lou had no appointments too. He wanted to watch GI Joe and so do I. But the lazy me was TOO lazy to get out of the house. I totally regretted my action for not meeting him. Bleahs.. missed a chance of watching it with my most valued nonsensified friend.

August 11 - Finally, a long awaited meeting with Sooling and Kelly. Karen can't make it due to company event. Had a great meet up with them though a short one over dinner. Happy to be able to be in their company.

Dinner at MOF was good. My 1st time. ahahaha oh mans. I feel so Suaku. MOF seems to be the talk of the town and it was my first time there. But who cares, now i can finally say i have dined there.ahhaahah.....


... and it's watching UP with my best friend this Sat!!!
Ahhh... now you know why I simply love August!!!!!
