I began to develop hiccups and interestingly my colleague tried to cure me by scaring me.
But before he tried to scare me, he told me to drink water by twisting my hands in a funny posture which I obviously didn't want to try.
So the following conversation began...
Colleague: I tried calling you last week but I couldn't get you.
Me: Strange. I didn't receive any call from you.
Colleague: really? So i called ur VP instead and he told me that you'll be fired by end of the month
Me: Really? I wasnt't informed. You must be kidding me right?
Colleague: Just look at me. Do I look as though I'm joking?
Me: Yes. Every part of you tells me that you are.
And of course my colleague tried to look serious and when I diverted my attention to think about what he just mentioned...
Colleague: So, you were scared aren't you?
Me: Nope... hey.. my hiccups are gone!
I tested and yups, it was really gone. What a strange way to cure hiccups. I always thought you have to either take a deep breathe and hold it there or someone has to scare you from behind. I never knew of such ways.
The French definately think differently mans!

The PoweR of Chinese!
Chinese is a language that I really find it amazing up till today.
A language I feel so at home with and a language that can express what I feel.
More importantly, it will lose its meaning upon the translation to English.
My very own English translation of Li Bai's thoughts on a still night:
静夜思 by Li Bai
床前明月光 Bedside moon bright bright
疑是地上霜 One look frost on the ground
举头望明月 Look up to see the bright bright moon
底头思故乡 Look down miss hometown
Now you know what I mean?
People from different countries want to master it yet it is a language which I often take it for granted.
It really amazes me when people from different cultures speak chinese.
Interesting!

Monsters VS Aliens

WOW! WOW! WOW! WOW! WOW!
I am really amazed by the power of technology!!!!!!!!
I watched a 3D animation movie today!
It never occurred that a 3D movie can be this awesome.
The pictures were so surreal that I can't help but to stretch my hands a couple of times during the movie to touch it.
I love it and i truely enjoyed myself!
Those who have yet to catch this movie in 3D I encourage you to!
Sweet!!!

"Escape to the Ridge" - YA FUN EVENT @ Hort Park

Whatever can go wrong really went wrong.
Forgot to buy envelopes so I stayed up late making them last night.
I woke up early but somehow was still late meeting JJ and Val.
Had to do last min changes which thankfully was able to turn the situation around.
The kan-geong spider-ness within me had somewhat turned into something that was at my advantage.
I had lots of fun and I met with an interesting incident.
As a result, I missed the closing and there wasn't any ice-cream left for me either!
Still feeling sore about it but the left over cha-siew bao somehow made my day.
Guess after this event, I won't be visiting Hort Park any time soon.
2 recees + actual event = Thrice @ Hort Park in 2009!
I have hit my quota for Hort Park this year.
Anyhow it's 3 cheers for the YA Committee!!!!!
