Hogle Zoo

We love going to the zoo, but we haven't been in a few years.  I think Mia was a tiny baby the last time we went, so we were all excited to go again.  They are doing a lot of construction and adding new exhibits, it should be done next summer.  We are excited to see that!!  Anyway, this time they had a bunch of dinosaurs throughout the whole zoo and the kids thought it was the greatest to find them all and take pictures.  Diego was in charge of the camera this time so he thought that was great.  We do love the zoo!!

These dinosaurs spit water and the boys didn't see that, so we had them stand in front of them for a picture and we took long enough snapping it that they got sprayed.  It was pretty funny.

All four of the tigers were out and about, it was pretty cool to watch them.

Park Fun

The week before school started we went to this great park with Mom and Dad, Mandy and kids, Jamie and kids and Jana and kids for a picnic and some fun in the water.  I have never been to this park, but it is a great one!!  The playground reminded my kids of the parks in St. George that we go to.  And as an added bonus there is a splash pad there for the kids to run in and get wet.  It was a great place to go.  Now that I'm finally writing about it I'm wondering why we haven't been back since we have this crazy hot weather!!  :)

Luca was unsure at first, but at least he walked through it!!

Mia hated it

Fishing

We went fishing at a pond near our house.  Diego caught two fish with in minutes of being there.  Alessandro and Luca got none.  :(  And Udine caught one!!  Officially his second fish he has ever caught.  After being there with all of them I've decided part of the reason Udine never catches fish is because he is constantly having to stop and go help the boys.  When he's on his own...well, that's another story.  :)  This was our first time to this pond, and we really enjoyed it.  We'll definitely be back.

In order to entertain these two I had to keep snapping pictures of them.  These are some of the ones I liked.

CONGRATULATIONS!!

Congratulations Graduate!!  I am so proud of Udine!  It is official, his diploma has arrived, he has gotten his Master of Science in Information Systems from the University of Utah.  He had one LONG year and I am so proud of him.  He continued to work full time and then go straight from work to school.  Mon - Thurs he'd leave about 7:30am and get home after 11:00 pm.  His grades were amazing, which I find impressive since he was juggling work, school, family, coaching two soccer teams for part of it, and he did well with all of those things.  Not one thing suffered.  He is amazing!!  I honestly don't know how he did it, I know I would not have been able to.  He worked hard and we love him and are SOOO happy to have our husband/father back!!  The kids are loving having him home again (so am I!)  He should be walking in the spring, so I'll have pictures to post then.  :)  I just wanted to give a little shout out to my man and let him know I love him and am proud of him.

Jumpin around

I just love to sit and watch the kids, this time I had my camera with me and decided to snap away.  I love watching them have fun.

The little ones wanted in on the action as well.  Luca cracked me up because he just had to take his shirt off like the big boys before he started jumping.  :)

Happy Birthday!!

Mia's birthday is tomorrow so I figured I better write about Udine's birthday that was a month ago first!!!  How does the time get away from me so quickly!!  Anyway, Udine's birthday was July 25th and we were all spoiled that day.  It was so much fun.  We played together as a family all day.  We got up and went to Ihop in the morning for breakfast, ran a few errands.  Went to see the movie Cars2 and then went out to eat at a pizza buffet.  We don't do those things all that often, so to do them all in one day was a real treat.  Udine didn't want a cake or anything, but I was adamant about him having candles to blow out so we put some in a popsicle.  :)  Happy Birthday!  We love you!!!
