So it has been awhile since I have posted on here. Sorry about that. I have been consumed with a ton of things and now that it is finally SPRING BREAK!!! I can breathe! There is so many new things that are going on right now. My younger brother Jeff gets home from his mission at the beginning of June! I can't wait to see him and hug him. With him coming home will allow my family to feel a bit more complete. Plus I can't wait to hear his English accent that he has.
Here are some other things that are going on:
I found out that I have my job for another year, which is relief. My school only gives the teachers yearly contracts so I have been worrying about if they will renew my contract for next year for awhile because it is very difficult to find teaching jobs. I will stay in 2nd grade which I love! I love their innocence and their willingness to please and learn. Something neat that happened in my classroom a few weeks ago. A mom came to me and asked me if her and her husband who had been on tour for the military wanted to surprise their son in my class. I knew about this for a few weeks and the little boy in my class would tell me that his dad was coming home soon. Well the day came and I was super excited! The little boy thought his dad was coming home the next day, but I knew his dad was already home. Well I took my class on a bathroom break and then during that time the mom and dad as well as the whole office staff went into the classroom. We all walked in and the dad went up to the boy and gave him a big huge hug and the boy was in shock to see his dad! It was the neatest experience ever! It made me think and ponder about how when we die, we will be able to be reunited with our loved ones as well as our Heavenly Father and what a sweet experience that will be to see all of those people, but especially to see Him!
I am super excited for summer and I can't wait for it! I am going on a dream vacation and I am ecstatic to go. I will write about it later :) It will all make sense later on when I won't tell you where I am going
So that is my life. I really have nothing to complain about. I am so grateful for the experiences that I have had to make me the person that I am and the person that I am growing to become.
~Always remember to thank Heavenly Father daily and keep him in your life because that is when the miracles can happen!
