TUESDAY FREEBIE - "IMAGINE"

Seems funny to not have a challenge for you this week but I wanted to keep posting a weekly freebie for you all, you have been such wonderful friends of Michelle Perkett Studio and you all deserve something special each week!

I know this is a "recycled" image from one of our Papercraft Planet parties and some of you may already have this one but I thought it would be a good one to start off the school year with. There are endless possibilities for the new year, so much to learn and this is the time of year when all of our returning students imagine the most I think! Ali Stanney - Guest Designer

This is our last week for our Guest Designer.

I am sad to see it come to an end.

I would like to thank everyone that participated with us.

All the projects have been so fabulous.

This week is no exception!!

We have Ali Stanney with us this week.

She has two gorgeous projects to share with us week but first lets learn a little about Ali...

I am 41 years old or young, depending on which way you like to look at it, and discovered cardmaking about 5 years ago, when I took a temporary break from my job as an infant school teacher after working for 15 years, to look after my family. I have been married to Simon for almost 19 years and our 3 little ones are aged 11yrs, 6yrs and 4yrs. Almost 6 years later I have become a full-time SAHM and care for our youngest who has Autism. I mainly use digi images although I do own a few rubber stamps, I still need to practise as I'm not great at it so far! I love my Bigshot, and have way too many dies and embossing folders, and don't use them nearly as often as I should! There are so many new products and techniques out there I'm looking forward to trying at some point in the future, and I can't wait to see the possible new directions my cardmaking may take!. The Autumn will see an exciting new start for me, as he will be starting school and I will have time to dedicate to other things. I look forward to volunteering at our local Opportunity Group for preschool children with special needs, where I  will be introducing lots of craft and sensory-play activites. I have only been blogging for about a year, but have met some truly  wonderful people along the way. I am delighted and honoured to be a GDT for Michelle Perkett Studios, as I LOVE Michelle's work and the challenges the team bring us each week...thanks for having me!

Wow, it's hard to believe this is our last challenge here on the blog! It has been a super FUN time full of gorgeous talent by the Design Team and all of those that have participated in the challenges. All I can say is

I'm late, again!!

Sorry about that. This week has simply gotten away from me. I  can't believe it is Thursday already. I meant to have this posted this morning.

We have been honored to have her mother, Rhonda and her older sister, Abby as guest designers in the past.

This entire family is very TALENTED!

So let's hear about Lizzy!

My name is Lizzy and I am 7 years old.  I will be starting 2nd grade next week and am very excited.  I just love spending time with my mom and sister doing crafts and making cards.  I've been crafting with my mom for as long as I can remember.  I love to add embellishments and bling to my creations whenever my mom let's me use her stash.  I also like to play outside on the swings and go to the park.  My favorite place to visit is the zoo.

Let's learn a little about Bettina...

Hi my name is Bettina. I am from Sandnes soutwest in Norway. I am a 36 year old mother of two girls aged 17 months and 3 years.  I started scrapping late 2009 thanks to babyverden.no.  But it was first in 2010 it really took off. I prefer making cards and boxes, but also scrap some LO's. I would say my style is mostly vintage and C&S, but I
am trying to put more flowers and embellishments on to my projects
everytime. I also do different styles and techniques in my blog as I
wish to develop more knowledge due to scrapping.

I wish there were more than 24 hours in a day so I could do more
scrapping.I enjoy to challenge myself to make new things all along and am trying different styles, so I can expand my horizon. I have to say that making altered projects is something I enjoy doing.
